I dropped it off on a Thursday and received no update until I called them the following Monday. They told me my car was ready to go and they had tried to call that Friday however I have no missed call or voicemail. When I picked up my car they said their technician couldn't recreate the issue and my belts are fine. Unfortunately I had to take my keys, and drop off my rental before coming back to take my car afterhours. I should have started it up when I got my keys because after returning immediately the squealing was present and only got worse after I drove. I left them a voicemail immediately asking them to call me back so we can resolve this issue. A full week has passed with no word from them. TLDR: I paid $107 for an oil change I didn't ask for, my issue was unresolved, and they need to get their ears checked because my belt is still singing!

There's nary problem he can't fix. He is an old school nuts and bolts mechanic. You're not going to see walls of fancy equipment telling you what the problem is. You're going to see wrenches, impact drivers, sockets, screwdrivers and the like. He's one of those guys that can listen to your car and tell you what's wrong. Like all mechanics, he's got busted knuckles, a bad back and miles of scar tissue. He kept thousands of vehicles that were long overdue for the junkyard on the road. His customer base ranged from the richest people in Grand Forks to the people like me who lived paycheck to paycheck. He treats everyone like they are his best friend. 124 Belmont Road is a little slice of heaven, it's sad it's a forced retirement but Paul has worked 15 hour days and sometimes more to keep his customers happy. Received a call 2 days later, went to pick up the vehicle, and it magically worked fine. Brought it to another mechanic shop to hook it up to the computer, there was nothing wrong with it.
