He didn't send me a picture. He was patient with me even though I called back couple times to make corrections on the spellings. Then the next day I show up, he has 3 trophies ready that looks nowhere near the quality of what I sent him. He then shows me a picture. He says he sent me pictures that I never got. It's a little too late. I didn't want to argue with the guy becuz he is stoic and seemed like I was a nuisance to him. I decide not to even ask about the fourth trophy because he was making me feel uncomfortable. I just rushed out the store after paying the bill. He then response back to me demanding that I change this rating. The rating of my satisfaction on the experience I had with the products and services he provided. Not what anyone would expect out of a 5 star service.

The first order we made with them was great, all items were printed as directed and we were happy. - The second order made was exactly the same, however the positioning of the embroidery was different to the original and was noticeably off. * We had to go back and forth about the specific details we made were clearly not followed, and they covered the correction order! * - Our last order with them was submitted and we never heard back for over a month, come to find out it was never MADE! I gave the faith we would get a courtesy or atleast special attention to see our order through. AND AGAIN, the order was missing a specific patch coloring that was ignored or missed on all items! On top of this we were charged 20% more than we were quoted in-store. * After reviewing with the manager, he blamed the loss of communication on us for not double checking the details after it was submitted over a month ago. She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. But I have to say that Lou Edwards has created what now stands as the most impressive piece I've ever commissioned. This was a very significant project for me: I wanted a special gift for my husband, Jim, to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Jim's special motif is armadillos... he collects them, and he likes to wear silver armadillo pins on his jeans jacket. When we met almost 25 years ago, Jim had an armadillo-ouroboros tattoo on his shoulder... a tattoo he designed himself. And twenty years ago, for our wedding, I'd had a tiny white-gold armadillo lapel pin created for him. So for our 20-year anniversary, I had the idea of commissioning a handcrafted silver and gold pin based on Jim's tattoo. I approached Lou with this project idea, and a couple months later, he turned it into a beautiful reality. Lou somehow managed to make it not only exactly like what I asked for, but even better. He made it even more beautiful and three-dimensional than what I'd had in mind. I adore the 3D details of the little Norse-Viking-ship style head of the armadillo, with the matte gold squiggle and ruby eye, and adorable teeth! The entire thing is so beautiful and perfect that I am at a loss for words. And my husband Jim really loves it, which is the most important thing. I also want to point out that not only is the outcome amazing, but the process of having it created was great, as well. Duvall Jewelers provided me with several updates and previews of how things were going, and was able to get my concerns addressed as the project went along. I got the sense that this was a labor of love for Lou. I appreciate the care and enthusiasm he brought to this project. I love supporting other artists. And if I ever have another custom jewelry project, Lou Edwards will be my first choice.
