Ashley who guided me to the patient exam room and did my triage/pre-assessment was very kind and patient, and also had some pretty stylish boots. For a medical office, I must say they were a stylish bunch and I let them know it, but I did go on their Casual Friday as they told me it was. The office was also very clean, smelled nice, and even was decorated for Christmas. It seems that they are quite booked because the physicals they had available to book were few which is a good sign. It's just a little bit challenging if you are a new patient (which I was/am). Overall, I just wished to say that the staff was very nice. Dr. Sarah (who is an ARNP, but i still call nurse practitioners and PA's doctors anyways lol) was pleasant and went through my health questionnaire and also addressed my cold/swollen lymph nodes concern. I also like that there is a pharmacy located behind the office as well. A nice added touch was the Christmas tree in the corner that had knit mittens on it that you could either take a pair from or donate a pair to. There is also a bulletin board that communicates things such as vaccine schedules, therapy help, and other things like a wellness drumming session which i did not know existed. I had to schedule my physical exam a few months out, but I appreciated the promptness of my appt. and the candor in which the staff demonstrated towards me. I never met a more amazing health care provider. She actually listens and helps with your issues. The only reason I stayed during the rough patch was her. I have never regretted it. I had to reschedule a few days ahead of my appointment and was assured multiple times on the phone that this would be no problem (their stated policy is to charge a no-show fee for cancellations within 1 business day, so I checked really carefully to make sure this wouldn't count as within 1 business day, and they assured me it would not). A month later I received a $100 no-show fee bill. Called the office and they insisted that Maria Carracino (the doctor I was supposed to see) signed off on this so there's nothing anyone can do. So despite being ultra careful when rescheduling, and asking them to confirm that there would be no fee, I wound up with this charge. Super shady business practices, and I'm now out $100 despite never having actually seen a doctor there (which I obviously won't now because I don't want to risk more unexpected charges in the future). When I brought this up in a local parenting group, THREE other moms told me they had the same experience at this office. Steer clear! BTW - I called 3 separate times just triple-checking that the next appointment I had scheduled was canceled, so that they wouldn't charge me another no-show, and the first TWO times the receptionist I spoke with told me they hadn't yet canceled it despite me asking! I guess they just wanted to charge me again...

I was unknowingly signed up for a limited three-refinement package, which made it difficult to continue treatment beyond that point (lots of push back). After 18 months (versus the 6 months originally quoted) and pushback on further corrections, I transferred care (this is an option!!)--where I learned my remaining issues could still be resolved with Invisalign. Ask all the questions upfront; not all Invisalign packages are created equal. I do appreciate the partial refund D&B provided at my request.

When I called, I did not have my insurance card handy and could not remember the name of my new insurance. I had thought "Northeast Delta Dental" was my insurance, but it was not. I called back a couple of weeks later and upon giving my name, Carrie(?) briskly stated "We do not take Northeast Delta Dental!". I calmly explained I had my card and was happy to confirm it actually says "Dental Blue". She advised, rather shortly, that Dental Blue was not in network with them, so I asked about "CBA Blue" (as that was the next name on my insurance card). She rudely exclaimed they're not in network with them, either. I called CBA Blue and was advised that they use the Blue Cross Blue Shield network. If the office had only allowed me to give more information, I imagine they could have understood that they were, in fact, in network. This is not how potential new patients should be treated. I'll be looking elsewhere.
