I ate a gummy bear just a sample like we would back home. (I travel for work) she was being rude and nasty accusing me of stealing and digging in the candy dish. All I did was scoop out one gummy bear. I asked her about putting a sign up that's say "no samples" she told told me people don't read, well that's not my fault other people don't read. Things got heated due to her being rude I cussed her out. As I'm leaving the store she says "you left your receipt" I turned around to get my receipt for my necklace I turned it in to be fixed. She asked me to leave the store but wouldn't give me my receipt, I tried taking my receipt from her and she instead chose to hit me. I repeatedly asked her to give me my receipt for my necklace she wouldn't give it to me. When she did give it to me she threw it at me as if I was dog. So yes I knock over the sucker that was on the counter. You gone treat me like a dog then I will treat you like a dog also. Then they, her, her husband and the child lied and said I grappled her which is not true. I hit her back in self defense! My thing is if you wanted me to leave your store then give me my receipt. Before anyone ask yes I did offer to pay for the candy, she told me to get out the store. You want me out the store then give my my receipt for my $300 dollar necklace like you the one holding me up in your store keeping me from leaving. Just very rude and racist if you ask me! I went in the store yesterday looking to purchase candied apples and chocolate covered strawberries as I was talking to the woman the "owner" and picking out my strawberries. My 1 year old climbed out of the stroller behind me and went to reach for the jelly beans. The woman instantly started yelling at my 1 year old instead of telling me what he was doing behind me. When I told her she could have told me and I would have got him as I did when she started yelling at him, she became extremely nasty and irate. She then proceeded to start yelling at me "get out", "it's not my fault you cannot watch your own child" when I told her I would report her she then shouted in a high pitched voice I am the owner because she felt she could yell at my 1 year old baby. I wasn't sure what to expect, but tried many different types of candy (in the jars) and I'm craving more ever since! Sincerely can't lie about chocolate or candy but swear just excellent! There's dark chocolate mint chocolate squares that almost melt in your mouth (no kidding as good or better then Frango (expensive) mints!! Nice varieties of goodies for any taste!! read more
