He was professional, kind, and frankly, one of the nicest people I've ever met. After he gave me a written estimate, we set a date for to commence. They showed up on time early morning, worked nonstop until almost and completed a very difficult technical and dangerous project with Absolute ease and precision. I rarely do a review, but in this case they deserve it I highly recommend them above any and all other service companies that I've ever worked .

Specifically, the tone and manner in which she spoke to me were condescending. This was not simply a matter of disagreement or a misunderstanding of what was said; it was about how I was spoken to and treated as a customer. For clarity, condescending means speaking or behaving toward someone in a way that communicates a sense of superiority--as though the other person is less intelligent, less informed, or less deserving of respect. Examples of condescending behavior include: Talking down to someone: Explaining or responding to them as though they are incapable of understanding something simple. Using a dismissive or superior tone: Speaking in a manner that minimizes the other person's concerns or suggests their perspective is not worthy of serious consideration. Being patronizing: Using language or a tone that may appear polite on the surface but communicates disrespect or superiority. These descriptions accurately reflect my experience during the interaction. My concern is not that the employee was unable to accommodate my request or that we disagreed. My concern is the manner in which I was spoken to after I raised a legitimate issue. I would appreciate a response that acknowledges the impact of the employee's conduct rather than primarily providing explanations for why it occurred. Accountability means recognizing that, regardless of the employee's intent, the way the situation was handled and communicated was inappropriate and negatively affected the customer experience. Disappointing Customer Service and Poor Communication My experience with Flower City Tree Service was unfortunately overshadowed by significant communication, scheduling, billing, and customer service issues. We had specifically scheduled our tree trimming for a Friday. Because I work from home and have a newborn and a dog in the house, the scheduled date mattered. We made the necessary arrangements in advance to accommodate the workers, equipment, and significant noise associated with tree trimming. Despite that agreement, the crew arrived three days earlier than the scheduled date without any prior communication or approval from us. When I questioned why they had arrived early, I was told that the crew wanted to get out early on Friday and therefore chose to complete our job earlier in the week. That may have been more convenient for the company, but it was a significant inconvenience for the customer. A scheduled appointment should not simply be changed based on what is most convenient for the business without first contacting the customer. A basic phone call or text asking whether the earlier date worked would have been sufficient. I want to be fair and recognize that the gentlemen who actually performed the work were professional and courteous. In particular, the arborist with the bear tattoo was helpful and receptive. I explained that I wanted the tree trimmed a little higher, and he indicated that he would accommodate my request. I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to listen. Unfortunately, my interaction with the office was entirely different. I called and left a message because I wanted to discuss the unexpected scheduling change and provide some feedback regarding the communication and overall completion of the job. When I subsequently spoke with Julie Bunn, I found her manner of communicating with me to be extremely unprofessional and condescending. During our interaction, I was repeatedly interrupted and spoken to in a raised voice while attempting to explain my concerns. As a paying customer, I found the manner in which my concerns were handled unacceptable. The interaction did not end with the phone call. I also received text messages on my personal phone from Julie that I considered unnecessarily aggressive in tone. Rather than feeling that the company was interested in understanding or resolving a customer's concerns, the interaction became confrontational. What is most disappointing is that these issues were entirely avoidable. I was not calling to create a confrontation. I was attempting to provide reasonable feedback about an appointment being moved three days earlier without notice and to discuss concerns regarding the completed work. Instead of receiving professional customer service, I experienced an interaction that only escalated my concerns. The field crew deserves credit for their professionalism. However, good workmanship alone does not excuse poor communication, unexpected scheduling changes, billing discrepancies, or disrespectful treatment when a customer raises a concern. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Flower City Tree Service.

Not only was his price fantastic (which made me somewhat skeptical on how well the job would be performed), but both him and his crew did an amazing job! They are very hard workers (which is rare nowadays) and got the job done much quicker than either of us thought possible! Not only did they work very hard, but they were super respectful, and completed all of our requests with skill! They even laid boards down where the trees fell taking care to ensure our yard, fence, and pond did not get damaged! They were very safe when taking down the trees as well and we had no concerns. They are very professional, respectful, kind, work hard, and do a phenomenal job! They even did our spring clean up for us and our front yard looks a million times better! Just ask our neighbors (I'm sure they are just as grateful)! It was really rough before, but now it looks fantastic! On top of all this, he was so accommodating and did a GREAT job communicating and working with my husband on the best time to come by and do the jobs (even working around our 11 month old baby's nap schedule)! I know I used a lot of exclamation points and reiterated some things, but we are so grateful and thankful for the job Chris and his crew did! If you need any of the services he's offering, don't be afraid to give him a try! You won't be disappointed!
