Dr. Krause is literally one of the best Urologists in the Houston area. Her procedure was flawless and she is now in good health, whereas before she felt like she was dying due to pain- so she recommended him. I'm also relatively young to have a Urologist, but I have a chronic condition that makes it necessary. Is there usually a wait to see him? Yes. Does it go beyond your appointment time? Often. But if you are looking for a doctor with good bedside manner who you feel takes his time with you in the room, prioritizes your health by delving deeper into all your issues, and will actually help fix the problem and not the symptoms... see Dr. Krause. Waiting in his waiting room for a while past the appointment time is better than seeing 2-3 other Urologists without results.

I attempted to raise concerns that the current prophylactic treatment was merely keeping the patient functioning but failing to treat the underlying infection. Verbal Aggression: Rather than reviewing the clinical data, Dr. Winkel became highly hostile. He repeatedly yelled directly into my face, shouting, "I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE, I DON'T CARE!" Failure to Provide Safe Care: Dr. Winkel's outright refusal to look at objective laboratory evidence, combined with his volatile emotional outburst, created an unsafe environment and constitutes a severe breach of professional medical ethics and standard of patient care. His aggressive shouting left me feeling deeply threatened, and his refusal to address the multiplying bacteria puts the patient at immediate risk for severe medical complications, including kidney damage or sepsis.

I would never wish kidney stones on anyone, but in the event that you find yourself unfortunate enough to have them I highly recommend seeing Dr. Winkel. And it reminded me that I had not reviewed him and both myself and my husband were very impressed. So impressed that we still remember it today. I hope I never need to see him again for kidney stones, but in the event that I do, I know where I'm gonna go.

The entire experience was great. We were able to make an appointment very quickly, we didn't have to wait too long at any point during our time here, and the people were super friendly. The woman behind the counter gave my son stuff to color while we waited, and they had a small kids table, which was really helpful for him to feel like he had a good experience (and to keep me sane). The doctor was also great - praising my son for being such an awesome patient, which probably gives him a very positive memory of going to the doctor. And most importantly, that cough disappeared almost immediately after he got on the meds! The whole experience was better than another urgent care that I've visited multiple times because it's closer to my house, but it's worth driving a little further for this one.

Avoid Dr. Piper at North Woods Endocrinology. I've been a Type 1 diabetic for over 20 years, and…read morethis was by far my worst experience with an endocrinologist. Dr. Piper prescribed Lantus, which wasn't covered by my insurance, then switched me to Semglee, which no nearby CVS carries. His office refused to send the prescription to Walgreens and told me it was my responsibility. You can't speak to anyone directly, everything is done through a frustrating app or voicemail. He also prescribed the Libre 3 Plus sensor that wasn't covered by insurance, then dismissed my concerns when I explained the pricing issue. Getting refills for life-sustaining medication was a constant struggle. I'll be reporting this office to the Texas Medical Board. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and a complete mess to deal with
