first time bringing my Guinea pig to a vet and this office is AMAZING!!! from the dr to the asst to the receptionist staff, VERY IMPRESSED!! I'm so happy to have a found a vet for my guinea pigs. hands down awesome!! thank you for taking good care of my pig and you might have a new customer with my animals.

One of my favorite Lucy pictures. She knew how to be a lazy butt. This was also her prime begging pose. She knew how to reel me in

This is hands-down the best veterinary practice I've ever been to. I recently had to say goodbye to my Lucy that I've had since she was a baby and I've had for 13 years. We tried several options towards the end, always keeping her comfort and also my budget as top priorities. The day I had to say goodbye was one of the hardest days of my life and the sincerity and kindness of the staff was unbelievably real. I will never forget that when we were saying goodbye the staff was huddled around us and some were even crying along with us. I would recommend this facility not just pet owners on the Westside of Columbus but all of Columbus. The top-notch care is worth your drive.Thank you again to the entire staff!

But WOW this vet is so expensive! Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours here on just a routine appointment, and also don't expect to leave here without spending at least $300-$400 per pet. I do love the expertise, care and compassion that comes with this vet, but it is a very expensive place to go. I have considered going to a different veterinarian, but if you Google each of the procedures & services and national averages for those costs, and they are within the national averages. I think pet care is just very expensive!! I like that this vet office is a converted house, each of the examination rooms are very cute.

Spooky Boo was abondoned by her owners of 14 years in January when they moved and left her in the house they sold. Wife had developed some allergies and if the new owners didn't want her, they were going to put her to sleep!!! She was left alone for a month, but a cat rescue took Boo and I adopted her less than a month ago. I was worried about leaving her at a vet but had no choice with my apartment being sprayed. Boo was well cared for and comforted thru the day. Had a cat bed and when Boo hid under it, the staff knew it was the noise of other pets and let her hide. She was feed the food I left. Boo purred at every one she met I was told. When I explained that I am leary about shots for cats over age 10, I was told the vet understood and once they saw Boo's records, none were asked for. In fact, I was told nothing was needed until next year. No special food was suggested, unlike other vets I have been in the past. I am very happy to find a good vet so close to my apartment in my new city.

They donated some materials to the Habitat ReStore. I decided to give them a try for my pets needs knowing they do good in the community as well. I took my elderly dog for a check-up and some bloodwork. The vet and technicians were very friendly and helpful. They handled my giant schnauzer with care. I liked that they didn't take him out of the room to do any shots, or the bloodwork. He is anxious and it helped him to be close to me the whole time. The vet offerend some different services but was easily willing to work within my budget and recommend what I could afford. I also like that you call when you arrive so that their smaller waiting room does not get filled up with anxious pets.

My dog who was just a puppy at the time had horrible allergies to the point that he licked his legs raw up to his armpits. His poor legs got infected and the trip to the emergency vet did no good. Dr Boggs was able to get my dog on an allergy shot and provided us with medication and medicinal wash for his legs which helped clear the infection. We continue to use this vet for my dog's needs and now my cat. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it is a little costly but tbh what isn't now a days. They do provide you with an estimate for cost of services if you request it which is helpful.

For 2 shots and 3 months of heart worm pills, I thought the price was quite reasonable. They even offered to save me $ by offering only enough heart worm pills until a new dual med comes out later this year, instead of selling me 2 prescripts. I didn't leave feeling I'd been robbed but instead, it was a rather calm experience for my dog and for me, their skeptical take on Internet meds providers, makes sense especially after last summer's overseas dog products poisoning people's pets. You can surely find cheaper meds on the internet and DYI, but I'm willing to pay the extra $5-20 more to buy meds from a real doctor who's supplied by a reputable vendor. As I would expect from any Vet, they called the following day to be sure there were no side effects for my dog. I'll be regular customer in the future.

Decided to take my cat here for a check up/vaccines after we took her to the emergency vet. She was lethargic and she wouldn't eat and throwing up more than average. The EV did a pleathora of tests said she was fine and sent us home with some appetite stimulants and anti nausea. When I took her to Bren-Lor the first time they ended up finding a microchip that didn't belong to me, Dr. Long came outside to speak with me about it, she was very sympathetic and helped me figure out if there was an owner looking for her, so she sent us home for the night until we worked that out. I had to bring her back in a few days later because after we finished her course of meds from the EV she stopped eating again, they ran blood tests that came back normal, and then they did x-rays which came back abnormal. She came outside and showed me pictures of the x-rays and explained what was weird, and what she thought could be wrong. She was never pushy about what I should do, she just gave me information answered my questions and gave me the her opinion and asked what I wanted to do. So they kept her for 6hr (free of charge) and redid xrays to see if the abnormality was still there. It was, and she told me that they thought she had ate something but it looked like it had almost made its way through, so she gave my cat some fluids and sent us gone saying that it should pass in the next 24hrs or so. Fast forward to the weekend and she seemed to be doing great. Then sunday night she started vomiting profusely. They got me an appointment monday morning for another set of x-ray (free of charge). Dr. Long wasn't sure exactly what to make of them so she wanted some second opinions. She called me back and said that all of her colleagues thought it was a foreign object as well, I was able to schedule surgery for the NEXT MORNING. Got her through surgery and she already seems so much better. Turns out her duodenum (the little section between the stomach and intestines) was abnormally large which is why they thought it had made it to her colon on the previous x-ray. Dr.Long told me she didn't know how the object had made it through her stomach and she didn't know why she wasn't vomiting this whole time. My cats a bit of a medical anomaly it seems. They've called to check up on her repeatedly through this experience. I will never take my pets anywhere else. Dr. Long was amazing to me and more importantly my cat. Cannot recommend this place enough.
