Awesome experience at Nostalgia. Came for a trivia night. Service from Marco the bartender/trivia host was impeccable. The decor bought me back to my youth with the movies, shows, toys and games displayed. Some of the televisions even had shows playing. I loved the "child menu" food items such as pigs in a blanket, Dino nuggets, fries and pizza (but who am I kidding? I still eat that now). However, their menu is so fun with the names and displayed in a VHS cassette. Drinks were tasty and not too strong. Such a fun night out and will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you're a 80s/90s baby. 2000s babies stay away no one likes you (jk kinda)

I wanted to love it here and maybe I came on the wrong night. After running around all day to church, dropping my dad off, going to Huntington to visit a friend, going back to church, and eating dinner with two church peeps I called my friend and we decided to try out this place for karaoke. The atmosphere wasn't that lively and I loved looking at all the 90s nostalgia but it wasn't all that fun for my friend and I. My friend got some food I ate two chicken wings with her and I don't like chicken wings much and I've told her this but she gets them anyway and wants me to eat them with her so I ate two. She didn't like the food much. Our bartender seemed like a nice dude. The night was kind of a scene my nearing middle age butt and my friends almost old age butt didn't like it that much. So it was okay but I don't know if I'd be back here.

I had a great time at Nostalgia, the night I went, there was a great group of indie artists coming together and performing right as you walk in. Good vibes all around, great artwork and 90s memorabilia. I didn't have too much to drink or eat, but the bartender was really chill and a musician as well (Marceux) As mentioned before, parking is really tight. See if you can park across the street a couple blocks away and hoof it over.

I came here last week for an event, and got to enjoy basically a tasting menu of sorts…read more This menu took Indian flavors on a seriously fun ride. From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

I admit it, I love the skin! We ordered a bucket of 8 pieces, and chose mac and cheese and cole slaw. We also ordered a side of jalapeno corn bread. There's really no good news here. The chicken was so dry inside, we couldn't eat it and thrw out all 8 pieces. The mac and cheese wasn't terrible, but I've certainly had better. It too was dry, and was basically one big piece of mac and cheese. The cole slaw was..... interesting. It was an odd pinkish color (red cabbage?) with really no sauce that I could find. My hunt for great fried chicken,,,, withnthe damned skin on..... continues.

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

We were immediately seated and was surprised that it wasn't busy for a Sunday afternoon. Excited to see that Quick Draw was available and couldn't believe that we could place bets on the races there too. The menu was nice sized and I always like to see different items. So I had the Reuben egg roll, which disappointed me, as there only being singular. It was served with 1000 Island dressing on the side. It wasn't my favorite. I also ordered the shepherds pie potato skins which was disappointing as well, having absolutely zero flavor. My husband ordered the CPI fried chicken sandwich, which was on a delicious roll but the chicken piece was minuscule for the price. We probably won't be returning.
