If you live in the area then this could be a place you go for brunch. Definitely not a destination place after a long drive. It's a bar that does brunch too. We came on a Sunday morning and was the 2nd table seated. There was only one waitress taking care of the 2 tables but even so it took over 10 minutes before she came back after seating us to ask if we wanted coffee. Then another 10 minutes she came back with the coffee and the cold crumb cake basket. Then another 10 minutes before she took our orders. The crumb cake was nothing special, the topping completely separated from the bottom but it was fresh. Definitely didn't see a need to order another basket for an additional $2.95. We barely touched the first one and we were hungry. Mimosa was watery, the flavor of orange juice was hardly present, it reminded me of bubbly Tang. Didn't bother with the second one. Hubby wasn't thrilled with the bloody Mary either. My sister got the eggs Benedict but the English muffin wasn't even toasted, it was basically raw,, when the waitress finally checked in she asked for the muffin to be toasted, it came back with a light brown ring around the edge, Still not toasted enough, she gave up and skipped eating the muffin. My burger was ordered medium rare and it came well done. I didn't bother to try and flag down the waitress since so there were so many other disappointments with the whole meal. This establishment was a one and done for our family.

Place was definitely following Covid protocol, which was good. Service good as well. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip which was delicious. Split with my sister the French dip, which we normally have from here and is delicious, however it was not on point today. Did not have much flavor and sandwich bread could have been toasted more. Either way was decent

The service has always been top notch whether your sitting barside or at one of their tables inside the restaurant or heated/open patio side. They offer an array of traditional mainstream domestic beers, local brewery beer, as well as a few of your Irish classic brands. Whether you opt for a tasty liquor cocktail or a draft/bottled beer you won't be disappointed. On the food side of things they offer classic pub style appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and an assortment of larger entrées. Fan favorites apps are their calamari, onion rings and flatbreads. On the Main entrée side you can always opt for a traditional Cornbeef, Pastrami Rebun, Short Rib platter or one of their customized sandwich melts. Can't say much about dessert since the meals are more than enough for me, but I'm sure they are just as delectable. This local restaurant is a hometown favorite for many for a reason, they are good at satisfying just about any craving. Jump in and explore the menu!

When we arrived ahead of our reservation the restaurant had a few tables filled and the entire bar was full. We opted to sit on the heated patio which was very warm and nice. There also was live music and it was lovely. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Irish Old Fashioned to start and my husband got the cider on draft. I ended up not liking my drink and she was so accommodating swapping my drink for one she recommended that I thoroughly enjoyed. We got the shepherd's pie fries to start and I have been dreaming of them since. First off the fries are some of the best I've ever had. They're clearly homemade and were just perfect and the pie filling on top took it to the next level. For entrees my husband got the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and crispy and paired perfectly with the amazing curry sauce. He was obsessed. I got the burger with corned beef on top and onion rings and paired it with their ketchup aioli and I loved it. Portions were large and fairly priced in my opinion for quality and quantity. For dessert we tried their new milk and cookies cake and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. I can't say enough great things about this place and look forward to our next visit with the whole family since there really is something for everyone on the menu.

The place is definitely divey inside, came in this past Saturday on St. Patrick's Day as we wanted to go to an Irish pub. Thought Katie Mc's was going to be bursting at the seams but around 130 in the afternoon, we were the only people at the bar and there was another couple having some lunch at a high top table. The bartender was nice enough but didn't mention anything about the place being cash only nor was there a sign that indicated it was cash only so we were a little annoyed when she gave us our total and wouldn't accepted the credit card. They gave us some chips at the bar and also some irish soda bread, which was a really nice though for the holiday. Didn't get a chance to look at their menu, not even sure they have a menu but people were eating food so they must have something. The back of this bar is a little sketchy to me, you walk past a creepy back room to get to the woman's bathroom, I don't know the place just really wasn't for me. They were decorated nicely for the holiday but it just wasn't a place I'd find myself spending a significant amount of time in.

The night was bingo night but that aside we had a good time. You can eat both inside and outside. The outside offers seating in front and back. I'm a big outdoor seating person so we ate outdoors. For the most part, everyone enjoyed their dinner. The hamburgers were good. The fried pickles were good, if you like those. The Parmesan fries were also popular, but not my thing. What caught my eye was the berry goat cheese salad. Mixed greens, berries, caramel pecans, goat cheese, and their red vinaigrette was excellent. I thought I'd throw some protein on there so added the steak. The steak was not very good so I ended up eating very little of it. Not quite sure what the taste was that the steak was giving off but not something to my liking. Otherwise, this is a terrific salad. The vegetables refresh, they gave you a ton of variety of berries, and the overall size was terrific.
