Found this place just googling for "fun", which seems hard to find in the high desert. Took 4 kids here, aged 14, 11, 7, and 3. I love the fact that you don't have to use any coins or tokens... makes things easier! The place is quite clean, although smaller than expected. It's very very loud even with only a few people, so I wouldn't recommend it for a first date. Ages 3 and under are free, which worked since my 3 year old only wanted to play Hungry Hungry Hippos and the little fishing game. They have multiple TVs with different consoles and a table for board games. It's dark, but the tables are well-lit. They have more music arcade games than anything else but they were all new to us so it was neat to try them. Overall the kids had fun even though some of the games were a little hard to understand. I was also a little confused when they didn't charge for me, I felt like I couldn't play with my kids and just followed them around. I think we'll come back but maybe next time without the 3 year old so that I can have more fun lol. read more

I found this place from an article I read in the Victor Valley paper just yesterday. Once I saw that it had Taiko No Tatsujin, and karaoke, I knew my daughter would want to check it out. It has a good location, but you'll miss it if you drive too fast. It's across the street from Vons on Bear Valley Rd. and next to Jiffy Lube on the outer highway. The parking lot is small, but we found a spot up front since it wasn't too crowded when we arrived. When we entered, Jason, one of the co-owners, asked us to empty our pockets, and we were scanned for weapons. I wonder if it was a precautionary measure or what kind of activity they have in the area. Since they're open late, it's probably part of their security procedures. Next, he explained how it works. No coins are needed for the games, that's a plus, as you pay a flat fee at the entrance. It's priced at 1 hour for $18, 2 hours for $30, and 3 hours for $40. An all-day pass is $50. I was asked to leave my ID, and we were given wristbands. My daughter's wristband showed the time we needed to be finished, which helped keep us accountable. Playing Taiko with the giant drums and drumsticks (even though she's a drummer) was a treat. She's been learning kanji, katakana, and hiragana, so she was thrilled to see the game was in Japanese. They also have a karaoke machine which surprisingly had songs in Japanese! My daughter loves the Yakuza series and was happy to sing Baka-mitai. I was shocked because even the Korean karaoke we went to in San Diego didn't have Japanese songs. They had just gotten rid of their Japanese machine. So that's a big plus to have such a variety of songs, especially in the High Desert. The karaoke area is enclosed in a glass area. There are headphones and microphones. It acts to dampen the noise in the establishment. The dance machine is similar to DDR, which my daughter loves. They also have Japanese snacks, like what you'd find at Daiso or a Japanese market. It's loud and difficult to hear inside the area. I'll give it to them, they have a lot of games packed into a small space. They also have basketball games, foosball, punching bag game, and other games. One potential issue I see is if it gets too busy there's no time limit to how long one person can play a game. So potentially, one person could monopolize a game their entire visit. It's a good place for friends, maybe a little too loud for a first date, depending on what you like, but it's a good place to burn some energy and a bit nostalgic. It's appropriate for children and adults. I give them a 5-star rating because the place was clean, Jason walked around making sure that everyone was doing well and having a good time, and he was very friendly. I also appreciate them having Taiko and a good variety of karaoke songs. The entrance fee is a good value, especially considering the available games. It's amazing how time flies when you're having fun. We look forward to visiting again. read more

Right off the 15 freeway. Parking was good. I thought it was pretty convenient to have that car wash next door. So if you're ever heading to or from Vegas this is a good way to spend some time with the family. Has practically every game you can think of just ask the owner Sam he'll take care of you. I had a great time. Very small but still fun. The young lady at the front desk was super sweet. Look you had me at karaoke. You get an hour for $18 per Person, that's worth it for karaoke alone. Brought my 11-year-old son and he had a blast. I received a notification for this place only 2 days ago from another app. My son now wants to come here every week. I'll bring him twice a month, if anything. The price isn't bad either because there are tons of unlimited games for him to play. It's a good place to hang out during this summer heat, because there is plenty of cool a/c pumping through. We each got bracelets with the time written on them that we were paid up to. Since I didn't play any of the games (I was simply the chaperone), I did not have to pay for myself. So, the hour we were there was $18 total. There were about 15 other people there while we visited. All games were open except one! Pretty awesome. We arrived at 6:40pm on Tuesday. Oh! I had to leave my driver's license with the cashier at the front, but I got it back before I left. Make sure you don't forget to grab yours! They hold onto the DL in case anything happens to the machine and someone needs to be held responsible, like if my son had broken something or disrespected a machine, the NAA had my license. Enjoy! Update: I brought my son today and this time his 14 year old friend joined him. It's Thursday at 7:40pm. Only 4 cars are in the parking lot which bodes well for the kids. All machines are available! As we were paying, 2 teens were just walking out after finishing out their fun time. The person who took the payment (cash or card, btw) told my kids that if a Nintendo game or Xbox game or whatever game is not there for that console that the kids can request it and NAA will buy it for them to play there. Definitely not a typical arcade, and that's cool. The guy that owns it, Sam, really nice really friendly, and wanted to give people a different experience. He definitely succeeded in that. I come from the old-school arcades, and I know a lot of people don't like change, but this is good. He has consul games you can play, board, games, and other arcade type games. read more

A modern twist on a old idea is the best way to describe this place. I went in expecting cabinets so I came with a pocket full of quarters. When I went inside I was greeted by the owner who was super chill and gave me a tour and told me about what was going on. Essentially you pay for an hour to play any games he has and play whatever he has on emulators. Some might as what that means? What it means is the place has every game you could think of here with sticks to play. So the biggest little arcade in the desert. I was very surprised. It's so much more the meets the eye. Emulators, SNES, N65, PS5Z Pooltable, Karoke they've sparred no expenses they even got the fancy racing games from Japan. It's everything you want in a arcade but with a modern take. No sticky buttons no cabinets taking up space just as I stated a cool modern take. The owner is very nice and you can see he's put ALOT into this place. Now one thing I will point out is it's a little pricy BUT AND THIS IS IMPORTANT. When you go in and see what he's done and what he's put into it and the equipment he has you would understand the price is worth it. Not a place for 5 year old who gets pissed off and throws controls and breaks them they aren't walking in here messing around. The vibe has a adult/ young adult vibe. Really great place for the kids or anyone that loves video games. The owner talked with us and was super nice and friendly. I seen the staff cleaning and disinfecting the games keeping everything nice and clean. There is a small table for the parents to sit and they even had some old school Nintendo complimentary while we waited. Cool new place in the HD. read more
