Definitely not a typical arcade, and that's cool. The guy that owns it, Sam, really nice really friendly, and wanted to give people a different experience. He definitely succeeded in that. I come from the old-school arcades, and I know a lot of people don't like change, but this is good. He has consul games you can play, board, games, and other arcade type games.

Not an Arcade was a blast. They have my favorite game air hockey. Definitely would recommend and come back again

Not An Arcade was blast. Definitely will be coming back and getting a all day so I can play longer. I will be recommending this to my family in high desert and bring people who come visit me. Also really nice workers and they were very helpful

There were so many activities to choose from, and the axe throwing was an absolute blast. We purchased the all-inclusive package, which was definitely worth it. After axe throwing and laser tag, though, it became so hot inside that we ended up leaving before we could enjoy the arcade games. The only suggestion I have would be to turn up the air conditioning, especially during the summer months. With all the active attractions, keeping the building cooler would make the experience even better and encourage families to stay longer. Aside from that, everything was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The manager went above and beyond with what I would call 150% customer service, making us feel genuine memories!y appreciated from start to finish. I highly recommend Monarch Family Fun Zone, especially if you're looking for a fun indoor activity to escape the summer heat. It was an unforgettable experience for both the kids and the adults. Keep up the great work and thank you for helping families create lasting memories!

The AC worked good inside so we were able to beat the heat and still have fun outside the house. They also had other games and deals. I was also able to only spend $25 on arcade games with Another deal they had and split into multiple cards for my 4 kids and they all got to play a good amount of games each. Staff was helper friendly. There was a young girl at the front who was super helpful and informative. She was a pleasure. My kids loved it. We will def be back. It's hard to find things to do in HD. This place is better than Scandia in my opinion.

I was actually impressed for the first half of our visit…read more The place is surprisingly clean. No sticky tables or odd marks on the rides. For being outside everything seems taken care of and well maintained. It's absolutely worth it to get points over a single day package if you live locally. The points never expire! We did $100 worth of points, shared it between 5 of us going on rides multiple times and we still had 200 points left for the arcade. The single day package is like $35 per person but is only good for the day. The rides are the best part! The racetrack: Slow, very slow. It was only us on the track which made it fun but my 4 year old was the first one to say it was too slow lol. The bumper boats: Loads of fun!! Never ending water to squirt at your friends and family, how can you say no? You will smell like chlorine for the rest of the day but it was worth it. Michael Jackson Slide: Still not sure on the name and I wish they had instructions or staff to explain but we figured it out. It's a really high start but fun once you get past the height. Thor's Chariot: You see this ride at fairs. Similar to Tea Cups that spin but one sided and you can't control the spin as much. You have to lean your weight at just the right moment. Fun! Twisted Torso: My 4 year olds favorite ride!! It goes up, spins around a little and comes back down a bit fast. It's not too bad so little kids can ride it but my 15 year old was not a fan lol. We had to leave after some time in the arcade so we didn't get to try the other rides. Now the reason for 3 stars: Arcade & Snack bar. Snack bar: Good food but the line took forever! They had only 2 people working the prize counter, snacks, and the line where you purchase points and passes. So anytime we needed to get something, standing in line. Arcade: Honestly pointless. Most of the games were broken and didn't even have a sign on them. You'd swipe your card and nothing would happen. There was no one around to help. Many games had no sound or the buttons didn't respond correctly. It just made the arcade a bit of a joke. Overall lots of fun and worth the cost. We've got left over points that never expire so we'll be back to use them!

The arcade machines seem to always be out of order but that's kind of what you have to expect when coming here overall if you want to come to a place to kill sometime at or do some go kart racing or miniature golf then this is the place for you

I wanted to get my boyfriend some MTG cards for his birthday, so I headed to this local game shop…read morebecause a family friend and his wife owned the place. I figured if anywhere would be welcoming and helpful--especially to someone new--it would be there. I was wrong. I walked in and stood there for several minutes while the staff ignored me completely. They weren't busy with other customers; they were just chatting with their friends. Eventually, an employee came over and passed me off to Nick. I explained I was new and needed some help, but from the get, he was unfriendly and dismissive. I tried asking questions, but he barely answered, acted annoyed by my lack of knowledge, and gave me these disdainful looks like I was wasting his time. It got worse. He finally said, "You should probably leave and come back with someone who actually knows what they're talking about." My jaw dropped. I asked if he was seriously telling me to go. He backpedaled a bit--"You don't have to, but it'd be better if you did, since you really don't know anything"--So I left, feeling humiliated and frustrated. Thankfully, I went to Sevens Goods and The Paladin's Rest instead, and it was the complete opposite-- staff was genuinely kind and patient and not for one second did he make me feel stupid. We've been going back ever since for buying, trading, whatever. My boyfriend says the prices are fairer there too, and the whole vibe is just so much more welcoming. In the end, it worked out--thanks to Nick, I found a better spot. But I still feel bad for the owners. I can't imagine Rudy would be happy knowing how the staff treat people like that. Its pretty sad. To responder: Im not sure who replied since Rudy passed. My dad passed last year and really respected Rudy. The incident happened in January. Your staff is certainly capable. It took me a long time to decide to post, but was talking with someone who had a similar experience and decided that I needed to. I don't like to say negative things about small businesses, but this was something I've never experienced. There is a thing happening with staff thumbing their nose at people. I wasn't rude. I was respectful and asked for help. Its nuts that I would be told to come back with someone who knew what they were talking about. The very reason I came to the store was to talk to an expert, not to be treated like they didn't want to waste their time on me. Even after, I just simply left. I didn't even know what to say. It just sucked because I didn't expect it and customers certainly don't deserve it.

What a treat it is for me to not have to host a party without help. Chuck E. Cheese is a fun environment for a kid no matter what, but man do they go above and beyond for their birthday celebrations. It was very clean inside and cheery. And me and my party were impressed with how good their pizza was for a children's event space. They have a really affordable birthday package if you can keep your numbers small and I really appreciated that making it possible to give my son a very special experience for his birthday. A big thank you for this, it's one of the best services I've ever experienced.

Well we finally came back to try it again and I will say that it has greatly improved…read more We did the birthday package again and it was still worth the money. The host, Eric, was great! He was always there when we needed him and would come by regularly to see how we were doing. I never had a problem finding him. It was awesome to be able to order things through him instead of standing in the line with the other parents. The games weren't broken and the place was very clean. Any issues and management jumped on top of it right away. It also helps that management is easy to find because they wear lanyards that indicate their position. Issue with the bathroom? They cleaned it right away. Issue with staff? They addressed it immediately. The pizza is still good. Again, not something I'd pay extra to have delivered but worth it while you're there. The only thing I think is still seriously lacking is security. They have a jump area that costs extra but kids just run in and jump. There was one kid who tried to steal our pizza but that was easy to handle. My big concern was when it was time to leave, there was no one at the exit. I left with my kids, but what if it was someone else leaving with my kids... no one stopped us to make sure we had the right kids. That's the whole point of Chuck E Cheese is that you are comfortable with your kids running around because they're safe.
