Best doughnuts in town. Except for the other Crosstown located just a few blocks away near Carnaby…read moreStreet. While not cheap, they definitely pack a lot of flavor and Instagram-worthy appeal. And, they always have unique seasonal options that run out rather early in the day, like the Pumpkin Spice and Mulled Wine doughnuts in the Fall and Winter, and the popular Lemon &Thyme doughnuts in the Summer. The regular favorites are nothing to roll your eyes at either, though. We're talking crunchy & gooey peanut with jelly doughnuts- with actual peanuts- matcha green tea, banana cream, and even coffee flavors. All of them taste amazing and are made fresh every day. They even have a few vegan options to satisfy the pickier of the bunch.
In addition to doughnuts, they also make some of the best coffee and ice cream- and best coffee ice cream- I've tasted yet in London. And, as with the doughnuts, the ice cream comes in unique and satisfying flavors, in easy-to-carry single serve containers that make it easy to eat on the run. The only downside to most Crosstown establishments is that most are too small and cramped to really enjoy your treat in; especially during the busy hours. This one, in particular, only has a few seats inside. However, it is a nice place to sit for people-watching, if you can manage to snag one. And let's face it, you're not exactly in the ugliest part of London. Just make sure you don't get any jelly on you as you eat and walk; most of these suckers are filled to the nines with jelly or custard.
