    Red velvet bundt cake

I've only been here twice and both times the people up front were kind of rude. They're lucky I like the bunt cakes. It's too delicious! My first time coming here I was expecting nostalgic vibes like a kid who goes to their favorite bakery growing up, but I got mediocre. I heard so many good things about here, but the lady up front seemed annoyed that I was asking questions about the bundt cakes. She kind of rushed me out the store. Those bundt cakes are $5.85 with tax, I purchased two of them. Regardless of getting a big bundt cake or a little one, shouldn't customers be treated the same?! We all have our days, cake should make everyone feel happy. Today was my second time coming here, and Britany was the one up front. Granted she was nice at first. I was going to buy my friend a bunt cake because I know she's on a budget (I am too, but I wanted to do something nice) and she said no. Which was fine, she wanted to get it herself. Britany said, miss independent and I said no, miss on a budget. So maybe I left a sour taste in her mouth. I meant no ill will by saying that. I know all the things my friend has to pay for. So then Britany proceeded to give her two cakes, one my friend purchased and one for free in front of me...I get it's the holidays, that was really nice of her, but kind of not fair to me. That's all. The ambiance though is cute and inviting, they even have little samples of the bundt cake on a nicely decorated tray.

I picked up some cupcakes for my grandmothers birthday this week and they went above and beyond! The cupcakes were so fresh with the perfect amount of icing. Some cool toppers on top as well. The staff was super friendly, and helped walk me through my order. Fun fact, you can get a free cake for your birthday if you sign up for their rewards program! Love the concept, and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend!!

I had a birthday cake ordered for me from here and it was sooooo good! Cookies and cream flavored with that incredible cream cheese icing- such a delightful treat! I had seen other people order these cakes before but had never tried one until now, boy was I missing out!

We love cream cheese frosting and that might be why this cake has easily become our family favorite.

If you order in advance she can make grainless and paleo options for your desserts too... fabulous spot. I ordered a gluten- free naked cake with real flowers for my friend's baby shower and it was gorgeous and so tasty. A word to the wise: I saw a review below criticizing DCD for keeping their cupcakes in a cooler, thus making the icing hard. I believe they are required to keep items with perishable ingredients in a cooler, so it would actually be a red flag if you didn't see them in a cooler. (When you go to Publix and you see cupcakes out on the floor, realize that the icing is likely made of oil. Yet the carrot cake bars, etc., are in a cooler because they contain real cream cheese.) The best way to enjoy a DCD cupcake is to let it come to room temp before enjoying. In Florida, this takes about a minute. Great spot - you won't be disappointed!

I'm always looking for a good place for corned beef hash that is homemade. They also were not stingy with the amount of meat for the hash. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I ordered pumpernickel toast and it came perfectly toasted and buttered. They also use premium jam, Dickinson's red raspberry jam in a little jar. It was a nice touch. To drink I had an iced chai latte. I do not know of many places that actually brew it from scratch with chai tea leaves and spices. My husband tasted it and thought it was as good as what you would get in an Indian tea stall. It does not have any sweetener in it, but has lots of flavor. It was brewed just the way we like it. I don't like places that use sweetened chai concentrate. So be patient while they brew it fresh for you. We also ordered French toast, which was challah bread that had been soaked to give that custard flavor and feel. They also put a little bit of butter on top of the French toast, which adds a nice salty creamy flavor. We were surprised that they were not super busy for breakfast. I would highly suggest trying this place for a wonderful breakfast treat.

In fact, the staff couldn't be nicer, and they were quite patient as I spent some time ogling the bakery case making my decisions. My selections were all sweets today. Blueberry croissant - a first for me and utterly delicious (couldn't wait to get home and had to have a bite in my car!). An almond and chocolate croissant - the gold standards. I topped off my order with the classically French tarte au pomme and a fresh berry tart with cream filling. Just divine, each and every one! Jerome's does not disappoint!

To call this French is an insult to France! I was born and…read moreraised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street. The ambience was nice and so was service, but that's where the good things end. This was a disaster and shameful that it's called French. Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French. We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet. Let's start with the bakery goods. All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh. These were hard as if they were all yesterday's leftovers. The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade. The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn't even melted completely. The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland. The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed. This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France. In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries. Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should. Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.
