I needed some pastries for a teacher appreciation thing at my kids school so we decided to go with her homemade pop tarts. Although I love everything I have ever tasted that she makes, her pop tarts are super unique. And they are DELICIOUS. I've now tried strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate and they are all phenomenal. We were able to schedule an order to pickup about a week later, and she is so nice about being willing to make an assortment of flavors, and even packaging her new "pecan pie" ones separately, just in case anyone has an allergy. Love it! Little things like that go a long way in my book as far as service goes. The shop is small, but very cute. I love how woodsy and earthy everything looks. Her cake stands are round slices of wood and she has cute earthy decor all around. She was super busy, preparing for the pecan festival the day we were in, so the cases were empty but she was happy to tell us all about the things she had available in the back still. The spot was very cute and the ice cream decor on the walls, gave it a nice touch. We sampled one of the wine sorbets and it was pretty good. It had a hint of the wine taste but tasted mostly like sorbet. We also sampled a few other flavors before deciding on the Cookies n' Cream or the Jungle Fever, which was very good. Overall, I can definitely see why this spot is popular because it's definitely a vibe. They also offer crepes, sundaes, flights, milkshakes and cake. We met the owner's mom who said that the owner is 12 years old & they bought the shop in September 2025. They plan to have a ribbon cutting ceremony in June 2026. It was a great conversation & I was excited to learn about this black-owned business. She still has Hershey ice cream flavors & great deals. She allowed my teen to have a million samples until he finally made up his mind. Very patient and accommodating to him. They also have 2 ice cream food trucks for rent.
