Whay can I say, but delicious!!! I stopped in to pick a mini bundle cake up to take home. There are a lot of different choices but I went for the confetti one. The service was quick and staff were friendly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I was in a bit of a hurry but they have several knick knacky type things for sale in their store such as coffee mugs and things like that. I didn't look too much but from what I saw, their merchandise looked cute!

Yummy bundt cakes! I tried three different flavors -- red velvet, strawberry and cream, and chocolate. Everything was well-prepared and not dry. The cakes also had the right amount of sweetness. I enjoyed them with a hot cup of tea.

There isn't a big menu visible and the girl behind the counter wasn't helpful at all. We realized there was a small paper menu available. I got a hot fudge sundae. The fudge was not hot and there was caramel on it (not requested by me). It costs $9 and was pretty small. You can definitely tell the ice cream is home made, but not in a good way unfortunately. This place is super cute so I hope they get better employees and step up their ice cream game.

The cake is very dense and then the icing is also a little sweet and thick. I would recommend a lighter like whip cream-esque icing to let the moist dense cake shine a little easier. In addition to the cupcake I order the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream. This was amazing tastes great, just one small note, there are some pieces of the cereal like big pieces so just be sure to chew. Overall I enjoyed the selection of pastries and will be back. The staff were great this night too. The staff who helped kept great conversation with my friends and I and told us everything about the menu items.

The cookies are SO good! My go to is their classic chocolate chip or a slice of cookie cake, they never disappoint. While the cookies are incredible, you haven't lived until you've had one of their cakes. Absolutely delectable, truly phenomenal, cannot recommend enough, 10/10, will never buy a cake anywhere else. Plus, Abigail is the sweetest person and truly cares about making everyone's experience at the bakery amazing. It showed in the cake decorating class I took there and with the responses to every email and interaction we had for my son's custom birthday cake. If you're ever looking for a place to get some incredible sweets, look no further than Bae's. It's a judgement free zone and the perfect place to hangout with a few friends or to get some solo work done.

Their hours are listed that they opened at 10am that day but when I arrived there was a line outside because they were not opening until noon. The cake is cute but not exactly as pictured. The border is done nicely but the writing compared to what was advertised kind of sucks, especially for the $40 it cost. The cake itself was okay, more cake like than cookie though. They have their own designated parking spots in front of their store which make parking a breeze. There are picnic benches inside the store & outside of the store, so lots of seating to choose from. If you are in the mood for something savory, I highly suggest getting the chili cheese waffle dogs. The chili was delicious & the waffle around the dogs was the perfect touch. If you are in the mood for something sweet, I recommend getting a waffle & ice cream. First - choose your dough: bubble waffle, honey bun bubble waffle, chocolate bubble waffle, or the duffle (donut bubble waffle). Then choose your ice cream. They have about 20 different flavors of hand dipped ice cream (you can try/taste up to 3). Last but not least - decide on your toppings, sauce, & syrup! I also recommend asking about Mary's cobblers that they have hidden away in the back. We tried her cherry cobbler tonight & it was out of this world. The cherries were perfectly juicy and not too tart. I definitely will be back.

Our anniversary weekend my wife and I visited the Falls of Ohio for the first time for a long (and…read morevery hot) walk. As we made our way back to the car I spotted The Widow's Walk and said to wifey "Wifey! ICE CREAM!" She looked back at me and said "ICE CREAM!". So we handily found ourselves at The Widow's Walk, perusing the menu. This adorable old Victorian style house is brightly colored and surrounded by a white picket fence. It's set across the road from the river, so it affords a few of the river and the passers by. I was impressed with the way they managed to stay in business while COVID ravaged so many eateries. They had a number of tables set outside for viewing the menu and placing your order. When your order was ready they'd bring it out to you. The inside was closed, but there were plenty of tables available outside and there's nothing stopping you from walking across the street and eating your frozen deliciousness along the river. I had a scoop of coffee ice cream and it was amazeballs! Wifey had butter pecan (ewww. I've never understood this flavor), but I had to take her word for it when she said it was out-freakin'-standing. This is a great little place for a frozen pick-me-up when spending a day by the river walk. Or dessert on date night. Or just because you want to.

Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once. Order the Danwich & the Danish. You won't be sorry. You can pay me in Butchertown gift cards. Or Bourbon. Hubby's brother lives across the Ohio so, next time he goes to visit them I'm going with him. Just so I can drive over here and try their lunch items and grab more danishes. The folks were super friendly, the place both clean and quiet. Which, kinda surprised me because the food is so good I couldn't understand why there weren't lines around the block. That changed the longer we dined in as folks just started roaming in. I said to my friend that the Louisville folk must get started late in the day.
