The gelato at this place is great. People are nice and if there is a line, the line moves quickly. The restaurant has a pretty outdoor sitting area.

Lovely gelato shop on Frankfort avenue. We had to park on the street (a side street of Frankfort Ave and walk). Friendly and quick staff. Ordered the chocolate, salted caramel, & tiramisu flavors. All wonderful. Big open patio out front with seating.

Our friend group walked here after dinner to try a sweet treat on a hot August evening. There apparently was an issue with some of their refrigeration units, but staff were making an attempt to limp along and conduct business as best as possible under those circumstances. We each got a scoop or two of various flavors and happy, happy, happy. The inside cafe dining area was cramped, limited seating, and difficult to navigate to the counter to order. Cute decor. Outdoor seating is offered in the front lawn area, but it was too hot in the full sun even at 7 PM during this visit. Will visit again when in the area and would like to try the outdoor seating.

This is a cute gelato place. I was surprised with the big variety of flavors. The inside of the shop was cute and clean. The outside had a good amount of seating and the set up reminded me of sitting in your own backyard in the summertime. I had the tiramisu flavor and it was delicious. I also sampled the fig and goat cheese which sounds like an odd combination for gelato, but it was really good!

Gelato Gilberto is a really cute spot to get gelato in the Clifton area. Frankfort Ave has several restaurants and I would love to explore it more. They have some indoor seating, but the outside area is the best part. They have turf and tables and chairs scattered around the lawn. They have so many different flavors of gelato that I was a little overwhelmed at the options! I was glad that they offered samples to help me decide. The person working was friendly and helpful. I tried the goat cheese flavor, which was unique but not what I was feeling. I went with the cookie butter and the cinnamon roll, both of which were delicious! My husband had the salted caramel and enjoyed it, also. We felt the price was a little high, but would go back again.

What a cute little gelato shop! Lovely indoor & outdoor seating. It's easy to ask for too many samples, but the staff was nice and happy to accommodate. Amarena, Amaretto, Coffee & Coconut oh my -- Liked taking several flavors home. Will be back to sit outside on a nice evening. It looks like there's a small party room that would be fun to use.

Very nice area

Another visit with friends and this time it was nice to sit out side and enjoy the gelatos

Cute shop that we decided to stop by for dessert after having dinner while in town. There are so many great flavors to choose from. On my way out while taking pictures for the 'gram, the cashier made conversation and welcomed me to Louisville. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor decor is super adorable and reminds me of Arkansas, (which will forever be home to me), as it reminded me of playing in my nanny's backyard as a child.

Delightful oasis for yummy gelato on a hot summer Evening. Nice bright environment with great marble tables giving that wonderful Gelateria feel. Outsides another modern Italian feel with its outdoor seating. I have the key line gelato and it was delicious, and the tiramisu was also decadently delicious. Atmosphere 4-5 Service 3 Price $$$

Stopped in here for the first time. It was so good. If you haven't been, I highly recommend. And I'm very picky about ice cream & gelato

I love gelato! I do like this location better than the one in Norton Commons. There is a nice modern outdoor seating area with lots of tables. There is also space to eat inside. They change the gelato flavors so what they have depends on when you go. I like that you can order two flavors in one scoop! So if you're torn between two or love two, get both! It's creamy, fresh quality gelato. Definitely one of my favorite dessert spots in Louisville. If you're looking for something different than basic ice cream or a nice social ice cream experience - try Gilberto!

This food truck visited our neighborhood tonight, and we ordered way too much food. I have a bad…read morehabit with food trucks because I am not sure I'll get to enjoy them any time soon. I appreciated they sent out a snapshot of their menu early on. I got a strawberry french toast crepe. It was thick, closer to pancake consistency with syrup soaked in and fresh strawberries on top. I was expecting something lighter but this was very filling. I also got a breakfast crepe with bacon. It was stuffed with eggs, cheese and fresh spinach. The bacon was crumbled and they gave us a ton of it. Depending on your hunger level you might split them into two meals or share. Along with a bottled water I got a Dole pineapple whip. Pineapple juice, bits of pineapple and vanilla sorbet. Really good, not overly sweet because the gelato calms it down but it warmed up about midway through and needed ice or to be chilled. Drink fast! Overall I highly recommend a savory crepe. Huge, filling and not heavily breaded as compared to my strawberry crepe.

I'm the furthest thing from an expert on crepes so I'm not 100% sure how long it takes to cook a crepe, plus we got 4 crepes, so maybe that's why? Either way, it was well worth the wait! The crepes were AWESOME! The savory crepes were delicious, but of course, I thought the sweet crepe we had (strawberry french toast crepe) was outstanding! I will definitely hit up this food truck if I ever get the chance to!

A good portion of what delivered to our neighborhood was fast food and that didn't sound at al appealing. We decided barbecue sounded like a good option and chose O's even though we'd never even heard of it. The reviews looked decent so we went for it. My son had 1/2 slab of ribs. My boyfriend and I both had pulled pork sandwiches. For sides we had potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and believe it or not potato sticks. I was thinking it was a funky name for fries but believe it or not these were actually the canned potato sticks I remember from my childhood. Funny side but it amused me and who can argue with nostalgia? My son had an Ale 8 and my boyfriend had A&W Root Beer. We also ordered two pints of chocolate ice cream. This was all old time, home cooked, good food. The beans were my least favorite but everyone else seemed to like them. The ice cream? I think it is actually homemade. It's out of the way, and hence not well known, but I recommend checking it out.
