I have been here three times. Every single time the customer service has been awful. When I picked up an order for an event, it looked like the cakes were thrown together last minute. I also went for the free birthday bundlet, and the worker seemed annoyed. She snapped at me when I tried to show her the email. A family member went in for her free bundtlet a short time later and received similar treatment. If it's such a problem, don't offer the program for your customers. They lost my business. read more

Bundt cakes always taste pretty good but the service always sucks at this location. My only complaint about the bundtlets is the presentation. Sometimes the icing isn't nicely done or they look smooshed, which is upsetting when you want to gift it to someone. Today, I brought in a coupon but they didn't accept it because my preferred location was different. I will take blame since I did not read the small fine print on the coupon but the manager made me feel stupid. Both the cashier and manager seemed annoyed with me and didn't smile once or show any positive customer service. When I asked for my military discount, the manager seemed more annoyed and said they don't accept it, but will accept firefighters and police in uniform for the first responder discount. When I expressed that I received the military discount with my ID last time, she said they just changed the policy. Used NBC for my wedding cakes a couple of years ago. They were hit for everyone, and made for great photos. Didn't have any left over, despite ordering 20+ more of the bundlets than I needed (so that says something!) My dad picked them up on wedding day for me, and had a really easy time. read more

Kudos to Nothing Bundt Cakes for a very last-minute order of 260 bundtinis for a memorial service dinner on April 30. The manager of the shop, Taylorm made every effort to get this handled working effectively with her team at the Meridian store. We so appreciated this, and everyone commented how delicious these bundtinis were and the large variety of flavors. They even had bundlets for those who were gluten free. I LOVE THESE CAKES. They are so moist. Anyone can make a cake at home - box or scratch - but the moistness in these cakes sets them apart. And the cream cheese frosting that is the right amount of tart, and cream, and no sugar grit, is just the literal icing on the cake. This visit was to get my free birthday bundlet. You sign up for their emails, and you get a free bundlet on your birthday. When I walked into the store I was asked if I wanted to try the pumpkin spice cake. And they had all these little squares of cake with a swirl of cream cheese frosting on them. (I may have taken more than my fair share on the way in and on the way out. But man, they were soooo good.) The girl wished me a happy birthday and then called the manager out to ring up the promo, and the manager wished me a happy birthday too; sweet girls. For my birthday bundlet I went with the pecan praline. And it was everything I had hoped it would be: moist, flavorful with pecan pieces throughout, and topped with that luscious cream cheese frosting. $4.50 for a bundlet - WORTH IT. $32, $42, $68 for the bigger cakes (and they decorate them) that would impress when you are entertaining because of the flavor and the decoration that I saw on some of them that were ready to be picked up. Really frustrating experience. Hoping to order in advance a decorated birthday cake plus a gluten free small bundtini to pick up over the weekend. Tried to order on-line multiple times over 2 days without luck. Error messages indicated either "item unavailable" or if after re-selecting, items available then payment would not process REPEATEDLY despite trying at least 4 or 5 different FTC. These came to us as a nice December surprise from some family members. The delivery person was great. She was super friendly, wore a mask, and kept distance when I answered the door. But some may feel differently when I say if you are among the first 50 people in line here tomorrow (Saturday December 6) you will receive a certificate for one free bundlete cake a month for the next year. How cool is that! Now you know if you want to go. This the season...Ho-Ho-Ho! This 'Nothing Bundt Cakes' location is the first in SW Idaho, is right next to Bed Bath and Beyond in Meridian and has been open just a couple of weeks. Based on our first visit in my hubby and I are fans of the sparkling space, the friendly people, the free sample to try and the cakes that come in sizes from little mini's called Bundtinis ($18/dozen and a swell gift alternative to that box of chocolates) to little Bundlets ($3.99 to serve one or two) to 8 to 10 inch Bundt cakes starting at under $20 and feeding 8 - 20. All cakes come iced with a yummy powdered sugar, cream cheese and real butter made buttercream in generous amount of striping on the cake. (This also helps define single slices for those inclined to that measurement.) Those who prefer their cakes with less icing might like to know you can order them lightly frosted as option by asking to have the frosting "drizzle".. There are nine regular flavors and one seasonal option (this month it is gingerbread cake). We've tried the chocolate - chocolate chip and the lemon cakes so far and both were very good. Light texture, moist, perfectly baked, flavor filled and just sweet enough. Pecan praline, red velvet, marble, carrot, white chocolate, cinammon swirl and white chocolate raspberry will call out "eat me, eat me" on another day. The only thing that's missing is a good coffee place next door. GF Chocolate chip cookie dough- it was decadent! Rich & still moist the next day- loaded with chocolate chips! And did u know they can decorate the cakes?! Small & full size versions are both available immediately & by order. A huge bonus was the gift shop inside- that actually had all kinds of gifts I'd actually buy! (Good quality & reasonably priced too!). I did not see a bathroom, but there is a big & clean bathroom at Bed, Bath & Beyond locates next door. I want to start off by saying I love this company and have had great experiences in the past at other locations. A couple of months ago, I was using the online system to place an order for pickup later in the week. I ordered one Bundtlet and one personalized box of bundtinis. I got an error message after putting in my card information and it stated to call the location. After numerous times calling, no one ever answered the phone. (yes, I checked to see if they were open). I then started over on my online order and then got to the same spot with the same error message. Again, after calling multiple times, I never got an answer. I then decided to drive to the location after noticing my card was charged twice even though the webpage was stating they did not receive my order. This was not exactly convenient for me as I live about 25 minutes away from this location but I felt I had no choice because again, I LOVE their cakes. I was able to go in an place my order with the girl working at the counter. I spoke with the manager about my card being charged twice and now a third time at their location. She assured me my card would be refunded for the other two times within 3 business days. (It was refunded within that time frame). I set my order to be picked up later in the week. The end of the week comes and I go to pick up my order. The same girl was working at the counter that helped me place my order earlier in the week. I tell her I am there to pick up my order and give her my name. She looks through several different systems and papers and says she cannot find my order and has no record of it being placed. She asks me a couple of questions and then remembers that she had helped me. I then spoke with the manager again and she assured me that they would be able to put my order together right away. Come to find out, they had to frost cupcakes as they didn't have any ready. I had to stand there and wait 15 minutes for an order that should have been ready when I got there. I do not write this review to bash on the business. However, I do know that this is a franchise and I think it is important that the franchise owner is aware of the experience I had. I never received an apology from the worker or the manager for all of the trouble I went through. If they are having online system issues, they should be answering their phone. There is no excuse. From someone who has previously worked in the food industry, this is no way to treat customers. read more

I have received my free birthday bunt cake every year and have been a faithful customer for 10+ years, but she would not give me my cake because I was having issues with my email. Thankfully Nothing Bundt Cake has a growing number of chains across the U.S. After first sampling their cakes in Washington,DC, I was hooked and whenever I see a location, I make certain to stop in for my fave bundt cake (lemon). When I saw this location in Meridian I knew this was the best choice for a group dinner I had planned. We opted for lemon and also picked up cool whip, strawberries. and ice cream to go along with it. Well, the fruit largely went untouched and we forgot to even get the ice cream out of the freezer. The lemon bundt cake was pure heaven. It was devoured quickly and the entire group of 10+ people raved about how good it was. Mini bundt cakes or full size cakes are available. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars is because they have great gluten friendly bundtlets. That's it. We had been going to this location for 4 years for every family members' birthday for those bundtlets. But, not anymore. My husband stopped by here with our THREE kids (all under age 5) in tow to pick up enough to celebrate his birthday. He had forgotten the bundtlet carrier for the carrier discount, so understood when they wouldn't give him the discount. He then proceeded to tell them it was his birthday (it was his actual birthday). They said they couldn't give him his free bundtlet without his birthday email. Frustrated and pissed off, he left. And I don't blame him. So, I called to try and make it right. They did nothing. I was told in a very quip manner that all he had to do was show his ID. I said if he had been asked to show his ID he would've (It's the guys' 41st birthday, and he's not an idiot). And was then told their birthday emails had been glitchy. Even more reason to ASK for ID. Regardless, who's running the business? The people that work there or my husband? It's their responsibility to make sure his experience is a good one and not the other way around. I even offered to try and rush over there with our bundtlet carrier and his ID since he was refusing to return after his shitty experience, and was told that wasn't possible. That it would have to be him. I don't blame him for not wanting to go back after you guys did literally nothing for him, and offered him subpar customer service. Guess what Nothing Bundt Cakes? Apparently the customers time isn't valuable. Think I could call in a cake? Nope. Can I call in a cake if I pay over the phone? Nope. Any order has to be made online. Terrible business model as well as terrible customer service. So now I wait for a cake for ten minutes that could have been ready when I got here.
