    Elsa Frozen 2 cake

Pastry Perfection is my go-to when it comes to celebration cakes and cupcakes. We have gotten countless desserts from them and they always taste delicious. It is a busy place so know that when ordering that you should order ahead. It's also not going to look 100% like what you see online... but in my opinion the taste is so much more important. The workers are always very welcoming and helpful. It is also reasonably priced in my opinion compared to others.

The name says it all, I'm not sure what else I can say. But I'll try. This bakery is massive and has cakes, donuts, pastries, breads and every other kind of treat that my jeans wish I would skip. As you walk in the doors, you're hit with the blissful scent of baked goods. And you can't help but smile. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1990's, and that adds to it's charm and appeal. The color scheme, the neon sign and the whole ambience wraps me up in happy nostalgia. But then I'm snapped back to the current time when I see all those delicious goodies. And they are TASTY! It's a good darn thing I don't live nearby or I'd be a frequent flyer, for sure!

I'm in CA and ordered a custom cake online for a baby shower in ID. Pastry Perfection called a few days later to confirm my order and discuss the design details. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious. This is my second custom cake order and I definitely recommend Pastry Perfection.

I ordered a custom birthday cake for a friends birthday. It was about $40 and I brought in dried flowers for them to put on it. Turned out nice! The cake flavor itself is solid. I wouldn't say it was anything amazing but it was a solid, average cake in my opinion. Also visiting I got the a piece of cake with a cute mouse decor, a filled donut, Irish soda bread and a raspberry danish I believe. I thought they were good! will definitely be back for more sweet treats!

This cake was a 10/10 for flavor, the price was a bit higher than I expected based on ones displayed but it was so good. While we ordered this cake we had donuts which are always good, I tried a cinnamon roll this time and it was great. The team member that helped us both order and pick up was very helpful. The bakery always has a people in there and it is a clean place always.

They had so many great choices and everything we bought tasted amazing. Next time we are in Boise we will be stopping by.

The carrot cake cupcakes were delicious, and so were the sugar cookies.

One of my coworkers told me about this place. Bought carrot cake cupcakes for my significant other for his birthday, and they were amazing. I will be back for sure.

Pastry Perfection is like Disneyland for pastry lovers! They have so many sweet pastry treats to choose from! Before I came in here myself, on a few occasions have had their donuts brought by someone else-- it's a great spot to pick up treats for the office or a party! At Pastry Perfection there are a few tables both inside and out that you can sit and enjoy your pastry at. There isn't a lot of savory items, but we did get a ham and cheese croissant. Seemed more like a buttered roll rather than a croissant - was not my favorite savory pastry. I do wish they offered more savory items! I tried a whipped cream cone that was a like a croissant cone filled with whipped cream and dipped in sugar. It was obviously delicious! We also ordered a vanilla bean iced coffee that I don't think they usually offer but they made it for us because we asked.

Everything you'll need in a bakery & pastry shop! The freshest, large donuts and coffee/espresso bar. Ample seating with pleasant music. Fully staffed with friendly and helpful employees. Anna was the best! Don't forget your special occasion cakes & daily breads to take home.

An old fashion bakery with a large assortment of goods! I have passed this place several times and finally decide to go in. Staff were baking and decorating cakes in the back of the counter. My husband had a doughnut and I bought a monster sized eclair, macaroons and sugar free cookies. The cookie and macaroons are delicious! We are eating the eclair and enjoying it immensely.

Bee Iced Sugar Cookies (12 Original)

For my little sisters "Bride to Bee" bridal shower I came in for some sweets. I will admit I was pretty scatter brained and I did not plan as far in advance as I would've liked. When I came in they only had a few bumble bee cookies left. I asked if they could make me some more. The lady at the front told me no but the young lady icing the cookies in the back over heard me and went out of her way to make me more. They were delicious and not to mention the lovely lady in the back was my saving grace.

I've been going to Pastry Perfection for years and they have a wide selection of tasty treats. However, they have seriously messed up both birth announcement orders I've done in the past 3 years. It started with gender reveal cupcakes with the blue icing filling oozing out of the bottom (in other words, they filled the cupcakes with the gender reveal-colored icing when they were way too hot and it melted and leaked out the bottom = zero gender reveal surprise.) Next, the true coup de grace...last week they made blue "baby rattle" cookies for another birth announcement at my office. Check out the attached photo and tell me what those cookies look like to you. My coworkers and I nearly dropped dead when we opened the box. Jokes aside, pastries for special events are really important and you need to get them right. Pastry Perfection has proven they don't care about getting it right. While I may continue to go there for donuts occasionally, I would never recommend using them for any type of special order.

I have driven by this shop a million times but never got the chance to make it in. After checking out all their photos and goodies off their website, making my way in today was a must. The shop is very small and intimate. You are immediately greeted by all the goodies as soon as you walk in. Colorful macarons, the cutest cheesecakes and beautifully displayed scones and muffins. The display case is nice and bright, allowing you to be able to see the details and coloring of each macaron. The pretty piping on the cheesecake. The fun layers of the cakes. It was hard not to want one of each thing out of the case. It was our first visit for my daughter and I. As a new customer, you're trying to absorb everything about this store. You want to look at all your options! The gal that initially was going to help us pretty much just stood there and stared at us. Didn't really talk to us. Didn't ask if we had any questions. She had the most unpleasant look on her face. It honestly made me feel so unwanted and uncomfortable to be at the shop. I offered to let another customer go ahead of us so she wasn't just standing there waiting for us to order something. The second customer also needed some time. Finally a gentleman came in and she got him some coffee started. Another gal was working and she helped us. At that point, I was so turned off about getting anything but we were already there so we decided to grab a few things. My daughter and I decided to share a 6 pack of macarons. We snagged lemon, birthday cake, coffee, chocolate, creme brulee and cookies and cream as our flavor choices. She also got a red velvet cheesecake for us to share after dinner tonight. On our ride home, we broke that box of macarons open and had to try them all. The lemon was sweet and tangy, I love the lemon custard in the middle. Birthday cake reminds me of a pink frosted animal cookie. The chocolate was my favorite! Very chocolate forward and sweet. Coffee reminded me of a vanilla latte in cookie form. Cookies and cream was much like cookies and cream ice cream. More cream forward and less chocolate cookie. Creme brulee had sugar toasted on top which created a slight bitterness to the cookie but it was balanced with how sweet the cookie was. All 6 macarons were fabulous! I look forward to having the red velvet cheesecake after dinner tonight. I like that there are so many gluten free options at this bakery. I adore how petite and prettily decorated the pastries were. I appreciate that this joint is local as I love supporting local businesses. But, first impressions are so huge for me and my first impression of their customer service wasn't there for me. You can push out great products all you want but how you make someone feel during their purchase can make or break your business. As fantastic as my macarons were, all I can think about was how uncomfortable I was when I was just being stared at. Macarons and cheesecake can be purchased at a few joints in our valley. I'm happy I got to enjoy some goodies with my daughter but I'm going to go support another local business that will actually make me feel like a valued customer and not a bother.

I remember they have baked goodies that my husband would be interested in. He's doesn't like all the frilly stuff, just the good ol classics and Eagle Coffee has plenty of that! We came in around 12:30. It was pretty chill. A few guests outside enjoying the September weather and a couple guests inside. We checked out the food cases and found what we wanted. In my last review I had the keto quiche. It was a little overwhelming for me. The Mediterranean quiche was suggested so of course I had to try it. And it looked good in the food case. We were instantly greeted by a bunch a happy faces. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant for my husband. My Mediterranean quiche was ordered. I snagged a small iced cinnamon honey dirty chai with almond milk and a huckleberry lemonade for the husband. I believe everything we got is going to be so good! The ham and cheese croissant looked mighty tasty! It was nicely heated. You can tell it was nice and hot cause the ham and cheese was starting to slide out of the croissant. Husband smashed the whole thing and I wasn't even offered a bite. My quiche had beautiful pieces of zucchini and cheese on top. I really enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes in it. The filling was fluffy and soft. It was a great suggestion from the manager! I might have them heat it up just a hair longer next time, it could have been warmer. The huckleberry lemonade was killer!! It was tart, sweet and bubbly. I was only allowed one sip and I made sure it was big! My first round of chai did not look like normal and it didn't taste good. It was so dark and bitter. I did ask the barista if there was chai in my drink cause it didn't taste like chai. After we got it figured out, a new drink was made. My first one was not what I had ordered, I don't know what it was. My second round was almost perfect. The honey cinnamon chai was so good! It was sweet and spicy. I love the added cinnamon in there. It tastes like it should be cold and holiday season outside. I did pay for a shot of espresso to make it dirty which I never got. It was almost a cup of perfection. I really enjoyed our little coffee date here today. The food was good. Our drinks were tasty. The staff was nice. And it's conveniently down the road from us. I'm happy we stopped in today for our Sunday goodies. I look forward to another round of food and drinks from this joint.

I ate the entire sandwich, holy moly! My wife brought half home. Next time I would probably order a half. The owner, who I will call Guiseppe, had the heavy East Coast accent, and checked on all of his customers, making sure they were happy and satisfied. This place is a little gem. Headed to gym event, but needed doughnuts haha! Did they have them? Nnnnnnope! Made me very sad. This place sells their cookies in WinCo and I think Whole Foods. Their cookies are RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! I could easily eat a bag of 8 in probably half a day lol. Then I'd get all depressed because my bikini wouldn't fit right :( So when I asked about the doughnuts she said they haven't been making them and I think she said it was because of staffing issues. Thanks to the virus and people now refusing to work because the government is giving them too much in unemployment, this is the case with way too many restaurants, bakeries, etc. That's my subtle jab at the current government and what they're doing to the country lol! So I left without doughnuts BUUUUT I did buy a bag of cookies. The same bag I could have bought at WinCo or Whole Foods. She said basically everything they did that morning was make the cookies for the stores and she watched them leave to take them to the stores. Exciting! I felt all guilty as soon as I bit into one of the cookies but OMFG THEY ARE SO GOOD! Have y'all ever been to a crumbl? If you have one where you live GOOOOO! This places cookies are basically they lower calorie version of Crumbl because some Crumbl cookies have 850 calories in ONE cookie hahahaha! Is it worth it tho? Absolutely lol So are these cookies, but if you are trying to watch your calorie intake then maybe stay away because you can tear through a bag of these with ease. Chocolate crinkle and snickerdoodles are my go-to's! Ooooooh! Ok, y'all, WTF is with the twist ties you used to tie up the bags of cookies? STOP using those! They are literally THE WORST! I'm sure they're cost effective but stop! I'm also sure with selling to those two major grocery stores plus selling them in your bakery that you can absolutely afford to use better ties, ones that we can actually open and reuse vs these where you can't just open them, you have to cut the top of the bag and then basically...the bag is useless after that. I know this sounds petty, but ugh they're they worst! Aside from that, this place is super nice. It's in a very weird location tho, I was surprised by that. It's like the only sit down place on this street. Across from them is a warehouse of some sort, half a block up are homes, it's just seems like it would be better on the north end, or NW Boise, basically anywhere other than where it is lol. The staff is super sweet, the ones that were there lol. I'll definitely be going back. Glad my first experience there was a decent one even if they didn't have doughnuts for my heffa ass hahahaha! Thanks for reading, Yelpiiteees! Cheers!

I walked in and sawthe beautiful display of goodies. I'm a visual eater so seeing all my options front and center is fantastic! They all looked like gems. Trying to pick a few cookies out of all their options was going to be a tough one. If I had my way, I would have gotten one of every kind. There were two gals that were helping a guest. I let them handle that transaction while I was looking over the display case. She was asking a bunch of questions so it was taking a bit for them to help her. I honestly thought that at least one of them would have greeted me. It's not the best feeling just standing there feeling invisible. I don't think two people need to ring up one guest. So, I just stood there. Finally a sweet gal that was in the baking area greeted me. She was really kind and knew that I was not being helped. She stepped up to the plate and got me taken care of. I finally narrowed my 4 cookies down to a chocolate chip, lemon sugar, pb Nutella and a cookies and cream. You gotta have a classic chocolate, it sets the standard for your shop. Lemon sounds refreshing for the hot day today. PB and Nutella is a winning combo. And you can never go wrong with Oreos on top of a soft cookie with frosting. I started with the PB and Nutella cookie. I had no restraint and ate that whole thing while driving to my grandma's place. She lives about 4 minutes away. It was so good! The cookie was very peanut butter forward. The Nutella frosting was the perfect compliment to the cookie. My grandma got the lemon cookie. I did steal a bite or two. I'm so happy I chose that cookie. The cookie was sweet and the frosting was tangy and bright! I shared the other two cookies with my husband later that night after dinner. How do y'all bake such a thick cookie and have it perfectly cooked in the middle!?! It's pure magic. The chocolate chip was just what we needed after dinner. It was thick, soft and had a nice amount of chocolate chips. I did polish off the Cookies and Cream cookie the next day. Everything about that cookie was fantastic! I appreciate how much Oreo was on top. I would frequent this joint if it's closer to work or my house. I'm happy I got to stop in and grab some sweets for my family and I. My initial interaction wasn't the best but I adore the gal that helped me for stepping up and helping me out. You only get one chance to make a great first impression and the first two girls working really failed. Happy that the cookies were fabulous and if I'm ever in the area, I will have to stop in and try another 4. Hopefully my next visit will be nice from start to finish.
