First time at this location and had a positive experience. Easy to order online in advance and schedule a pickup. Received an email confirming my order listing each item and the requested pickup date and time. I only waited a few minutes and my order was packed and ready to go, the cashier confirmed my name. We tried a few small cakes (bundtlets) with these flavors: Lemon (pretty straightforward, had a zing to it) White Chocolate Raspberry (my favorite so far) Oreo Cookies and Cream (looks great, will try it tonight) Chocolate Raspberry Heart made with Dove (rich dark chocolate with raspberry swirl and a Dove chocolate on top), special for Valentine's Day All come with tasty cream cheese icing. Stopped in on busy Valentine's Day to grab some treats for my loves. The line was to the door as expected. Someone came in after me stating they only had to pickup an order and the people in line said it was one line. After that a man came in stating he was picking up a DoorDash order so I told him go ahead as the orders were on a rack for pickup. Well a guy at the front of the line wasn't having it and said he needed to wait in the line like everyone else. They began arguing. Now I didn't see why he couldn't just grab his bag and go but guy up front had a problem with it and even invited him outside to fight. Now it's not that deep for two men to be getting ready to fight at a cake shop. Secondly I think nothing Bundt cakes should have had more control of how things were handled. There were 2 people working up front. One cashier could have taken orders and the other could have handle picks and door dash to keep things moving. Just my thoughts, so everyone is not congested in one space waiting. I usually go to the Ardmore location but I was in the area. Seen this shop across the street from another shopping center across from it and said "Oh, what that shop over there? Maybe they sell different cakes" So I went to check them out. Lets just say Im glad I gave them a try. Noticed as soon as I walked in, a very sweet aroma and pleasant atmosphere followed by a friendly, welcoming greeting from a store clerk. Very clean inside and presentation was very appealing to the decor of the inside to the cakes in the display case. The cashier was helping another customer but once they were done with their purchase resumed back to me. They have seven flavors of different bundt cakes which is what they specialise in. I decided to go with the smaller, mini cakes since it was my first time. As pictured, a mini classic vanilla and pecan praline are the two I wanted to try. Wasn't disappointed once I tried the vanilla at all. So sweet and moist, soft with almost the consistency of melting butter. Im so serious. Havent tried my other cake but I'll update. PUT YOUR ADDICTION COUNSELOR ON SPEED DIAL Of course I'm being silly but my truth is after having one I found myself rushing back again and again trying different flavors, buying them for other people, freezing them in case the store is ever out of stock. I've even asked the manager for a personalized parking space. When you go take a friend in case you need to be pulled back out of the store. Delicious cake! I have been struggling to find a good birthday cake since my Italian bakery closed. A friend of mine turned me on to them. I will never go anywhere else. today, I saw online you had the new flavor Carmel Apple Cider. I was so excited. It has been a hard couple of weeks, so i figured let me treat myself. I called at 4:45pm to place an order. I made the mistake last time by not ordering ahead. (which is on me) I place the order with the young lady and I told her I would be there between 6:30pm and 6:45pm. I get there around the time I said. I was excited. When I said my name she went into the back. She was taking a long time to come back out and I can tell by the expression on another employees face they didn't have it. A young lady came out and said I'm sorry. We don't have any left. I was very aggravated. I know i called and place the order. It should have been put aside. The first thing she said we can refund your money. I said its not about the money its the principal. I waste time and gas to come get my product. I ask to speak with the manger. She said she wasn't there. I ask for the contact information. Mackenzie came out and said we can refund your money and give me 4 free cakes. I really didn't want it. I wanted the new flavor. I told her want I wanted and even they messed up on that. It felt like they didn't care about how I felt. They wanted me out the store because it was closing time. She did say she refunded it. I have the receipts to prove it. Just in case I didn't get my money back. I stated to them this is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Nobody didn't even call me to tell me there wasn't any left. ZERO STARS!!! Don't order from here or you will have no idea if they delivered what you ordered! I ordered a Christmas gift to be sent to our veterinarian's office, but never received any follow up emails that the order was received or delivered. I called here to confirm and they couldn't give me any kind of confirmation and said they do not send confirmations, and told me to ask the giftee! Which would be an incredibly improper thing to do! Finally made it to the shop in Springfield! Ordered three small cakes to test out. Lemon, red velvet and carrot. Liked all three but enjoyed red and carrot better (even though I picked the lemon one). Service at the store was very friendly and nice. They put more frosting in the hole before you purchase. I walked in the door and was greeted by the staff very nicely. The place was very clean and cake display very beautiful. I have never been to a business to where the whole staff spoke like I've been there before.i ordered the carrot cake, lemon cake, Red Velvet, and strawberry cream they were all very delicious. I asked if they had any specials which they did. If you buy a picnic bag the next time I get three cakes you get the fourth one free with the bag. Wrong cakes and father's day gifts yet read Happy Birthday and not the messages I had ordered on card either. So I guess someone else also had a wrong order too. OMG YUMMY! I stopped in here today while I was in the shopping center they're located in. I got the small carrot cake and marble cake. They're the size of a large muffin and they are DELICIOUS! The carrot cake is my favorite so far but both are moist and very flavorful. I was greeted as soon as I walked in which was a pleasant surprise and the girl at the counter was very sweet and polite. I'll definitely be returning to try other flavors.(not too often though, don't want to ruin my figure) lol. Received one of their cakes for Christmas. Cake was very good and moist. Entirely way too much icy. The icing is about equally as voluminous as the cake and tereby overwhelms the product. If you are a sugar freak, this cake is for you. read more
