Extremely friendly service when I came to pick up my free birthday bundt cake. I got my usual for the season which was pumpkin and oh man. We tell ourselves that we will only have 2-3 bites and end up killing it in a few minutes. It's just so moist and flavorful. We don't use much of the frosting because it makes it sweeter but woahhh. So I happily enter this cute little store and am greeted by a very friendly young lady. I ask her if they have samples and she takes me to a little table with small individual pieces of their chocolate chocolate chip samples with a dollop of frosting on top. Hmm I think as I carefully test. This little morsel is quite moist, perfectly weighted volume, mini chocolate chips were a nice touch and the cheesecake frosting not to sweet. So I decide to purchase several bundtlets for $3.99 each. Amongst the flavors I purchased were the same chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, pecan praline and white chocolate raspberry. The nice young lady started packing them in a bag. I asked for a box but then an older lady snapped at me and told me you don't get one with the bundlets. Hubby and I decide to have dessert so we try to get the cute little bundtlets out of their container and it's impossible without smashing one side of the frosting against the small plastic container it was in. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT NOW: We get 2 of our bundtlets out and start eating them and there is NO RESEMBLANCE compared to the sample. These are very light in texture, very very sweet and taste like some cheap box mix. The cream cheese frosting is overly sickening sweet and lacking the same density of cream cheese texture. We decide to try 2 other ones and notice that one has COLLAPSED SOMEWHAT in its cheap little plastic container. Pictures attached. These other 2 bundtlets also had the same cheap sickening very sweet light quality. Summary IMO cute facade that delivered me, the purchaser a poor quality product. However, I placed an order over 2 weeks in advance for a special occasion and wanted to ensure everything ran smoothly (me being organized). Just received a phone call saying they do not have 4 of the flavors I ordered. This is very frustrating when you plan things out and the company is not prepared. I hope they update their websites daily showing they do not have certain flavors soon. This is false advertisement by saying you have something but in reality you only have 4 flavors to choose from. The cakes are always moist and the frosting is just sweet enough to give you the taste of a dessert without it being sickening. I came to this location to pick up treats for my boss. I was taken care of in a timely manner and the cashier was polite enough to ask if I needed help taking my purchases to the car. The only suggestion I would make to them to receive 5 stars from me, would be to add bags to their store. They do have reusable bags available for purchase $2.99 per bag. But no plastic bags to put the boxes or bundt towers in. This would be extremely helpful for people like me who have multiple things to transport. I went with the dozen mid size bundts with the variety i chose (love you get to pick which one and how many of each). The selection process is easy, love that you can add toppers or a sentiment card and that they even had option of sending balloons (yes, you pick the colors and amt. you wish to send). I was nervous being that I wasn't sure my friend would be home to accept or that the driver would get the right place, however, my friend got them from her neighbor who accepted them on her behalf and needless to say she and her family LOVED them. I'm taking off 1 star because the last time I picked some up, the bundts were a little smaller and the icing was unusually soft. Maybe the pans were a little underfilled? We ordered cakes for a friends birthday to the place we work at and they said they would be delivered between 10-2, they never showed up so we drove all the way down there to get them. We called ahead of time to make sure they were at the store and the front desk lady was so rude about it then we asked for the $20 delivery fee to be refunded and they said no. We spoke to a "shift lead" who yelled at me. Then gave us another number to a different location cause she wasn't going to call her manager.
