Personally I think serving an avocado that has turned brown is unacceptable. That's my opinion and the reason for the low rating. Had they left the avocado off, my biscuit breakfast sandwich would have been good. When I took a bite and tasted the avocado I knew something must be wrong which led to me trying to take my sandwich apart to investigate and my pics show what I found. If you don't have a good avocado just say so. I'd rather not have any than pay more for something that is inedible :( The chocolate chip pancake wasn't anything special either though so I dunno. This is a mom and pop bakery cafe in a strip mall off of college park drive. Everything we got was plentiful and good. Only critique is that the sourdough bread was covered in butter and fried which made it less healthy and greasy. Great selection of teas. However, they didn't have any natural zero sugar sweeteners like Stevia. Just sucralose and aspartame laden sweeteners. So they need to get with the times and get some Stevia. I wanted the simple egg bacon toast breakfast after a fasting Dr appt in the area and fell upon this place. I loved the personality of the place with its Halloween decorations, coloring pages, lively staff and nice menu of plates and desserts. Coffee was self serve and deliciously hot. The manager came out and greeted a holy man who was a customer at the next table. Very personable. In fact that is probably why I didn't give them a five because there appeared to be some personal conversations behind the counter which everyone could hear which kept the homey feel lol but took from the professionalism of the experience. Don't let that stop you from checking this place out. They have bagged goodies that are perfect for taking back to the office or snacks for later. Never been here and will never go again. It felt like we were bothering the staff from ordering till we left. The Tea is a K-cup you serve yourself. We apparently came too close to closing not realizing they close at 3pm. We sat and waited for our order, each came out at different times. Then in the middle of having a conversation, ( it was a quick business coffee meeting) the started putting chairs up, sweeping, the lady with the broom made us move our feet under our table so she could sweep. How rude! At least the manager should have came over to us and said they were getting ready to close. So they pretty much kicked us out without saying a word. We took a walk to a few stores down and sat outside. Also, there is no privacy at all in this place so don't expect to have any conversations without the entire cafe hearing you.
