Walking in we were greeted with a receptionist that didn't seem like they wanted to be there. That wasn't a great start to what we were hoping would have been a relaxing way to start our Saturday night. The store is decorated well and the vibe is nice. They have calm music in the background. The facility was clean. Lots of white and wood. I've never tried an organic nail salon before. This place was unique. You soak your feet in a tub of warm water. The chairs aren't the typical massage chairs you see at other salons. This wasn't a problem for me as it was still comfortable. I elected to get the gentlemen's pedicure which I was told came with a bit extra's from a scrub and extended massage. Unfortunately, it felt like they were rushing here. My pedicure was complete in ~23 minutes. While I am not an expert, that seemed like they wanted us out or were ready to start closing. It would have been better if they told us they weren't taking anymore appointments if this was the case. The service was fine. The technicians were friendly. My massage and scrub didn't feel that great and what I am used to receiving at other salons. It's a cool concept with the organic materials but I probably won't be coming back here. read more

Came here with my mom for a pedi and was very happy with the service and results. They know to cut toenails straight across to avoid ingrown toenails, which tells me they know what they're doing. My big toenail also kept cracking after getting pedicures at a different salon, but it's been about a month and I don't really have that issue anymore. I also like that they use big basins(?) to do pedis, rather than the ones with the jets because they aren't hygienic. Very happy with the staff. Went 12 days ago for GEL pedicure and builder GEL manicure and my toe chipped 2 days after getting this and the builder GEL is already lifting off my hands. I called and asked about their policy and they said because it's over a week there's nothing they can do. Upon walking in, I felt like I was transported to what I imagine a nail salon in Sedona is like. This was a nice little retreat. It gives very natural boho vibes. I called for a last minute same day appointment and before I arrived, I was immediately provided with an appointment time. I like that, you could tell she was looking at a schedule and not just guessing. I was asked for my full name which I'm not used to. Then I was sent a link to fill in payment information. I was a bit skeptical about this but I think it's to hold your appointment. Anyway I went with it and filled everything out. On the phone I asked about fill-ins too but did not get any info. When I got the appointment link, it only mentioned the pedicure. I say that to say... ATTENTION: Long story short they DO NOT do fake nails at all. Know this before you come in. They didn't even want to remove the polish from my nails. Anyway, let's continue. Everything about the things they do, is very boho. They use basins filled with warm water to wash your feet, they have comfy chairs to sit in, there is no massage feature on the basin or the chair, and they use simple trays to hold materials. I should note, they use silicone toe separators and I love how they feel but I wonder how they are cleaned? What I really enjoyed, was the hot stone massage...it was the best foot massage I've had in a long time. I wish this weee longer actually. They put two different types of creams on your legs & feet not once but twice. I didn't enjoy the nail painting because my foot was in an unnatural position...something about the distance of the basin from my feet. I think if you know how to "point" your toes like a dancer it's be more comfortable. I do not. To top it off they use hot towels and I always love that. I got the standard pedicure with gel polish and that costs $82. It's pricey but a nice retreat. It felt like I was among rich women. I got to pretend I have a husband with a black card. read more

This place is seriously my go-to nail salon now. The level of service, attention to detail, general cleanliness and cute decor is basically what I've always dreamed for in a nail salon. If you're looking on a salon that doesn't cut corners on quality and also provides such a high level of consistency, this is the place for you. For starters, every time I've requested nail art here with their NIB gel manicure, the pictures look EXACTLY like the iphone pictures I requested. No weird lumps, super thick nails, eye rolls when you ask for a different color, or wonky misshapen nails. The first time I requested some complex work - christmas trees with ice gel, wreaths, and french tips and it came out exactly like the photo. Second time was a skittle mani with different colored hearts for valentine's day. Uchka has been my go-to person and she's been fantastic, even taking care with a previous nail injury I've gotten at another salon in the past and remembering it the second time I got a pedicure. They've got a ton of options for colors, from magnetics to ice gel to your regular colors. They're also an organic nail salon, which means their products are free from the annoying toxins at a normal standard salon. Just a hot tip - bring your own sandals! NIB does not provide single use flip flops (yay! sustainability). I've been to both locations and they're both equally awesome, it's the employees who really make your experience. I'm coming as a regular here! just note that a pedicure will set you back between $40-70 and a gel will set you back around $50ish. read more

The whole world has changed since I wrote my review for Nothing In Between almost four (!!!) years ago so I thought I would update with more current notes. + Nothing In Between is still the gold standard in the area when it comes to a high level of care and sanitation -- even more so in Covid times! + Making appointments on their website is very easy but I've had really good experiences with questions and requests when calling the salon as well + My husband had his first pedicure here and he is now obsessed! Since this spot is close to where we live, this is our first choice for a day date whenever we have the time. + They are also very accomodating for children. My friend and I took our daughters here for a manicure date to celebrate them becoming big sisters and the staff was so friendly and accomodating to make sure they had the best experience ever. My daughter even let out a big sigh of relaxation while they were massaging her hands with warm lotion and asks to go back all the time. + You will not get better nail art anywhere else in the area than here. Staff: everyone is very friendly and are very gentle when it comes to shaping the nail and applying the color. As my daughter was turning 3, I wanted to find a place that specialized in non-toxic products and polishes and BOOM, pops-up NIB in my Google search. Being a thorough Yelp-er, I quickly read their reviews and decided to book online the Mini Mani and Mini Pedi for her. Just to make sure they did kiddie nails her age, I even called to inquire (because I didn't want to get my hopes up and they not take her) and the young lady happily said yes they did!! Yay!! I booked her a Sunday, 12:30pm appointment all from the comfort of my home the night before and arrived about 12:15pm. Upon entering I thoroughly appreciated not being hit in the face with the smell of acetone and other fumes. We checked-in and waited a couple of mins prior to being escorted to the pedi area. The pedi bowls are actually big black basins that the technicians fill and wheel out to you (oh you fancy huh?!) and take back when your pedi is done - this I loved!! Drew's technician, Anika, was very gentle and polished her little baby nails way better than I could've done. The mini pedi even comes with a warm lotion rub and hot (actually warm) towel wrap. The mini mani was just as good as the pedi! The salons manager (I think) was superrrrr helpful and was doing an brilliant job keeping things in order, all while assisting the technicians, providing beverages to customers, AND checking customers in and out! The mini mani is $15 and the mini pedi is $30 - a bit expensive in my opinion, but totally worth this once-a-year splurge for her! I'm actually looking at my schedule to see when I can come back for myself as the designs I saw were totally cool and different! And they have a pretty extensive gel polish collection. I really wanted to like it here as it was highly recommended by friends, but I found the experience to be disappointing and overpriced. I came here with high expectations but will not be returning. The salon itself is clean. Gel nail color selection is limited, maybe only a third or so of what I've seen at other comparable nail salons. I noticed that they used shellac polish and when I asked about it, they said it was the same as gel although shellac typically doesn't last as long. They definitely do a good job of asking how you like the shape and color throughout. However, I didn't feel like the application warranted the price tag. Colors were not applied fully to the cuticle and sides, and were not level throughout the nail. That much I can overlook but the morning after, three of my nails started disintegrating and bubbling up. I called to ask about it and after seeing pictures, they said that the disintegration can sometimes happen with their white coat. That made it sound like they knew it was a known issue but did it anyways. They offered to completely re-do the three nails that were messed up. When I got there, they offered to do just more top coat for two of the nails since the nail artist that did my nails was not at the salon and to completely re-do the one that disintegrated the most. I said that was fine since they assured me that should cover up the disintegration but even now I see spots that were not covered up. My nails also got several hangnails after getting them done here and I never get them so it makes me doubt their nail care process prior to painting. It's a cute salon with zen vibes and the nail artists are really nice, but I personally felt like the gel selection and application did not warrant the higher price at NIB. read more

I really liked the idea and concept of this salon since they offer non-toxic products. I've done SNS for the past 2 years and wanted to take a break to let my nails breathe so I decided to make a mani and pedi appointment here through by booking online through their website. I wrote a note that I had SNS nails and they called me a few days before my appointment and asked me if I could come early (since it takes more time to take off) and that it would be $10 additional to remove. I went with a regular manicure and pedicure and had a very relaxing, personable experience. They explained their process and also the concept of the salon during my service. I also had a hot stone massage which was a nice touch. Although I enjoyed my experience, my nails (hands and toes) only lasted 2 days before they chipped. #sadface The salon is aesthetically pleasing and clean/hygienic. After going to this place twice I honestly don't want to go to any other nail salon ever again. The owner is one of the most attentive I have ever seen: she will patiently explain the spa options to you, does not pressure you at all for anything, personally brings you a drink, will fix your chair, bring you a cushion... just, wow! This is someone who is clearly passionate about providing the full spa experience. Speaking of full spa experience.. The ambience and the attention to detail are what make this salon so perfect. The portable foot baths, the rose quartz massages, the scrub, the little sticker on the towel warmer (I think that's what it was) that said "real queens help fix each other's crowns" to the faucet light, the baskets, decor, coasters, you can tell that every thing was thoughtfully done, for a purpose. It is like if an art studio turned into a nail salon. BUT! What about the manicure and pedicure itself? I got the basic services and they were great. So professionally and carefully done - I didn't wince once when the nail technician was taking care of my cuticles and actually almost fell asleep because it was all so relaxing.. there was no rush to get you out of the door and no haggling over tip and no pointless questions or comments or awkward chatter in another language or taking phone calls while filing my nails. Just professionalism. I kiiiinda want to purchase rose quartz stones now and just like casually roll them on myself whenever I feel stressed..or like just do it all the time... that by itself is amazing. Not to mention, while this place had plenty of customers you could hear a pin drop. It was lovely. It made me realize we take for granted the power of silence. There was a woman who was actually asleep during her pedicure (or foot massage, I couldn't tell). But... like don't we *all* deserve to feel so relaxed that we fall asleep publicly while getting our nails done??? That's what a nail salon experience should be like. Beautiful clean and an oasis. Definitely a different experience when they're bringing you a basin of warm water. I personally do prefer having access to running water, but I'm sure this is way more eco-friendly. The inclusivity of things like hot stone massages in a regular pedi, access to high end nail polish brands, and a stunning setting- make it worth going. My 5 stars are specifically because; I was tagging along with a girlfriend who had a gift card and my regular spot was booked. I called ahead and told them I need someone who understands and is patient working on ingrown nails. They said they'd paid me with Duke. She was excellent!! I'm also learned that some of the higher end nail spa's are managed and staffed by the Mongolian community, and you can feel their cultural warmth and kindness when at these establishments. Super impressed with my experience today. Booked a Rose Cote Pedicure last minute to treat myself and it did not disappoint. The studio was very clean and modern. The customers and technicians were all soft spoken so the tranquil spa vibe was on point. Tuul did a fine job with my pedicure. She was very gentle and detailed. I got regular polish but her application was so good that it looked like gel. The scrub and hot stone massage felt so good and everything used smelled great! Very fruity. No pungent chemical smell to trigger a headache! The overall experience was very relaxing. The prices are a bit on the higher end. It feels so clean the moment you go inside and their level of service is top notch. The stone massages, hot towels, cleaning - 10/10 experience. We felt so relaxed and spoiled from the amount of care they put into every service. My sister's wedding planner called ahead of her appointment and even had them gift her a small bouquet of white roses. It was very sweet. My nail tech took a bit long to do my nails, she kept making small mistakes and having to start over multiple times. My group had to wait for my nails to be finished by the end of our appointment. We all have those days so not a huge complaint, and im sure it doesn't happen all the time. I've been loyal to NIB for some time now and recommend it to a lot of my friends/family. However, my two most recent pedicures/manicures were not as good as before, and I won't be returning to this salon again. I have always been okay with the pricing for this salon because of the ambiance and their natural approach to nail services. The trimming, paint job, and massage, however, have honestly been subpar recently. My pedicure from yesterday got a little smudged because it wasn't fully dry. I called asking if someone could fix it for me-- a quick polish change on a few toes, and they wanted to charge me for an entire polish change. I would understand if I chipped my pedicure after a few days, but my family had just paid over $200 + tip for our services yesterday. I never even mentioned anything from the services prior to this one because I wanted to give them another chance, but I understand now their customer service once you're out of the chair. Since they are charging for every small detail, I also wanted to mention the quality of the manicure I received yesterday. There is a hair stuck on one of my nails and the polish job on another is uneven and translucent. I can go somewhere else for a cheaper and complete polish change. I don't need a gift certificate or anything for amends. If you want to refund my family you can, but I won't be back. read more

I am so so so pleased with this place! I had the most relaxing and lovely mani pedi experience here today. Everyone was so kind and my nail techs Daria and Bella were so good at what they do. Jade, the founder/manager is so nice too. I had some communication with her before I went in and it was so nice to talk to her! They also carry Luv.P, a non-toxic K-beauty brand that really excites me as a skincare lover. I found them on Instagram and I was immediately taken by the gorgeous minimalist nail art they did as well as the draw of the non-toxic manicure. I worry a lot about getting gels as often as I do because I'm really concerned with my personal health. This is a great place if you have sensitivities or if you just care about your own health but if you still want a gorgeous mani pedi. They also do waxing! Everything about the standard pedicure was lovely, from the hot stone massage and the bath salts to the careful shaping of the toenails and callus care. My feet look so good just in time for open-toed shoe season! Daria was so careful to make sure I was comfortable too which was really appreciated. I get manicures a lot but I've never done nail art before! It was really lovely and Bella really knows what she's doing with the neo french manicure! I love getting my nails done and typically go to the same place so I was excited to try something new. This salon is free of the 7 big harmful ingredients. All the polishes are much healthier for you. The salon owner did a lot of research before opening the salon and you can tell! She has lots of designer polishes so there's something for everyone! Even kid friendly polish! I had a gel mani and a standard pedi when I visited. The pedi was nice as they used a scrub and rose quartz during the pampering process. The only thing I wish they had were the massage chairs. I love those! The gel mani turned out great as well. The owner showed me so many different styles I could do and I ended up going with an ombré glitter. The whole process took about 2 hours since they were very meticulous. I will be back as I work NIB into my semi regular salon visits! The price is definitely higher than a standard salon but it's top quality. This establishment is located on Route 50 right underneath the newly built apartment complex. I've only seen nail places like these in NYC or LA and always wished that something like this would open up near me. It has finally happened, and I am a major fan. The space is aesthetically pleasing just like everyone has said, but more importantly their service is outstanding and the quality of their work is excellent. NIB offers a very carefully curated collection of organic, non-toxic nail polish/gel polish and each of their technicians are experts when it comes to the latest nail art/nail trends in S. Korea and Japan. I forced (hehe) my fiance to get a Gentleman's Manicure ($28) and I opted for a gel manicure ($44) in time for our engagement photos, and I definitely feel like their prices are competitive for the products that are used and the level of service/attention you get. I have been searching for a high end nail salon near my home for quite sometime. This little gem answered all my bougie prayers. CLEAN. I mean super clean! When you walk in it's very inviting with open ceilings, while walls, greenery and natural furniture. Designer nail polishes and a lot of colors in clean bottles. Hand and foot massages with hot stones included in the standard mani/pedi My nail tech was Young Lee and she was super attentive and meticulous with my nails. Jade, who I believe is the owner was very inviting when you walk in. She greets you talks through what you're looking to get. No one is pushing nail services at me. Which I hate. I assume everyone hates it. It's awful. My entire experience here was absolutely delightful. All that I've been wanting when getting my nails done. I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure.
