I've been getting a basic pedicure for about 20 years now, and I can honestly say this has been by far the worst one yet. The gentleman was very pushy about added services, which I know I for a fact I don't need, being a man, who just wants the nails cut and the cuticles cleaned up etc, no polish, noting fancy, push comes to shove I could do it myself anyway. Reluctantly I agreed to some added unnecessary services, with he ended up not doing anyway. He seemed to also go from speaking enough English to sell sell sell, not simply smiling and pretending not to speak any English when I asked for a couple of small corrections. Awkward lol! I was gonna just let it go, until I came home to a bloody sock, nothing that he cut the inside of my big toe too, in addition to the terrible job... Can't win sometimes, even if you're willing to pay extra. read more

I've been coming here on and off for about 7 years now. The prices are a little cheaper than most in the area which is what keeps me coming back. I've paid more at other salons to have my nails chip only one week in. This has never happened at Aislinn. I am always able to visit with a walk-in, with no trouble. Keep in mind it does get busier in the evenings after work. Everything is quick, easy, and efficient. I recently went to Europe and hiked, swam, walked, and both my gel manicure and regular pedicure havent chipped once and are still looking fresh 2 weeks later. I've been coming to Aislinn for about 6 years. Emily is fantastic, efficient and kind. She gives the best pedicures by getting any ingrown nails out and giving a great massage. Her dip manicures are also fantastic with perfectly shaped nails that last for 3 + weeks, aren't thick and removes my sensitive cuticles carefully. She's great at gel and regular polish manicures as well but dip works best for me since I'm so hard on my nails. I always came here for years and I ventured out and tried other places recently that really did not compare to the service you get here! this place is really clean and they have comfortable chairs for both the manis and pedis. They actually take their times to provide high quality service and do not rush their service. I am giving two stars only because the manicure of my left hand survived two weeks. The manicure of my right hand broke after a week. The work of my pedicure was even worse. It could not survive even until I go home. Obviously, my toes did not dry enough. Otherwise, I paid 75 dollars plus tip. To compare with Europe, the materials are better and the work is better. Normal change of manicure is between 30-35 days to two months. The price is less depending on the country. Never Aislinn Nails& Spa!!! I walked in around 10:25 a.m. on a Saturday morning, without an appointment. They weren't busy yet and said they could accommodate me when I asked for a pedicure with nail art, which is what I wrote on their sign-in sheet. I was assigned a nail tech and a pedicure chair. I walked over and handed her my own nail color, which I brought from home with me. I pointed to the nail design on my big toe and said I wanted that with gold, instead of silver. She asked the tech next to me to the nail art. Not a huge deal, though why the host didn't match me with someone who could do nail art is beyond. But this happens all the time in salons in this area. My pedicure is over by 10:45 (a first) and the tech barely cut/filed my nails or touched my cuticles. The paint job is not good. Now I have to wait until 11:00 for a tech who can do nail art. At least three of them looked an the image before deciding who was going to do it. The tech doing the art was clearly unhappy. To make matters worse, another tech was rushing her. She messed up the design on one of my toes and wouldn't fix it. Still, it took her 15 minutes to do each toe. It was 11:20 when I walked out. I paid and left, miserable about clearly communicating what I wanted, spending money, and not getting what I wanted. I went here out of convenience and because a good friend likes this place. I'd been before and found it mediocre, though I had a better experience than today. Aislinn is pretty and clean, and cheap, but the customer service is awful Sigh. Just another day where I leave one of these lame DMV nail salons practically in tears and super frustrated. because no one knows what they are doing. I will not be returning. read more

What an awful experience today. The lady who did my waxing was great. But the lady doing my pedicure was awful!!! Just hardly doing the bare minimum- throwing the pack on my leg - did not spread it nicely. The massage was pathetic- hardly any pressure. And 2 minutes of spreading oil on my leg is not a massage. Stopped by here again just yesterday on 1/24/19 at around 16:32 for some information, saw some of it by walking to the side door which is now the front door. It has been a while since I have been here. The place was very crowded, (the way it should be) but as walked in, not one staff member said hello or even smiled. The faces of the staff members did not look happy at all. I don't remember how long I was standing there at the counter, but it must have been 40 seconds at least. Still no greeting or acknowledgement I was there. I saw some of the ladies looking at me even though they were working, but got nothing. Finally two women who looked like the estheticians or masseuse...(correction massage therapists) stepped forwards from the back of the store wearing white lab coats. I was asked what I needed, so I told them. I don't recall a hello being the first thing that was said. No matter, I was informed that menu is now online, but it would still be nice to see a sign in the store with out having to check your smart phone....ahhh technology of today. I looked online and saw many things added that a store sign could have, but the updating would take longer. I am glad massage has been brought back into the mix of things here. It give this salon a real feel of a spa too. When I was here many years ago, waxing was not one of the things I was willing to try. Today is a different story. The facial caught my eye, but I did not see any back facials or butt facial listed.... Yes, I am being perfectly serious...The back facial and European Butt facials are big hits...it would be a pitty to miss out on them...should this establishment add these options to the list, what would Aislinn Nails&Spa charge? People get pimples, blackheads on the butt and back too...maybe we should just call it body facial for $150 special and see if there are bits at the apple. This place has definitely changed, but more smiles greetings would be a definite improvement. At the very least let the guest know you will be right with them. Not mad, just a friendly advise. Tips in cash only. They have an ATM. I couldn't go to my usual because they were closed on sundays. I got gel manicure and a pedicure. Gel nails are uneven, extremely thick, the edges look bad, and the tips are thin and uneven making it look like I have a mound of polish on my nails. My nail shape looks like I haphazardly hacked at my nails at home. When I asked her to fix the tips (because they were thin and uneven) she said I hit the walls of the UV light (which I didn't, I overheard my friend say something in there burned so I was careful not to touch anything.) she tried to fix it, but I ended up with a bunch of layers of gel. They pour acetone all over your hands when they remove old gel. They also leave the acetone cotton-foil combo on your nails for a really really long time. And she had me pick my gel color in my pedicure chair with foil on my fingers. It was inconvenient and hard but I got it I guess. Pedicure was meh compared to heaven nails. It doesn't look bad though. I'm not coming back sorry. The quality of work isn't great, and I'm forced to tip in cash. The salon looked relatively nice though! read more

The owner is very nice and the ladies always remember us and take special care. I often break my nails pretty deeply which causes a lot of discomfort. The team does a great job in getting those fixed via silk or SNS ensuring that the nail stays fixed till the next visit. I also get my eye lashes done at the saloon. Very well done! They are careful in using glue and the eye lashes look natural and last a good amount. (Close to 2 weeks before the need for refill) The matter differs by individual. read more
