I love trains and train stations. This is by far the most impressive station I saw in London and not because it was stylish or new, but because of the old architecture and old tracks.
We needed to transfer from our usual line to another to explore London a little more. When I walked into the station, I was drawn in by the massive curved canopy and the larger platform landings.
This station was built in 1868 and can imagine what it looked like then. Many years before cars, people were commuting through London via underground rail. The place has history and it was cool to see, while you are on your way to see other places. read more
