I have been here once before..waaaaay back..like 3-4 years ..- to purchase a lamb Gyro. Back then it was good. Today, VERY VERY VERY dry. I also got falafel balls and those were VERY over fried. Seriously so gross I can't even eat them. I actually had to drive back to the restaurant (bc they don't answer phone) in order to have any sauce so my Gyro, etc wasn't so dry, which did not work. Still dry still not good, very very salty, way too salty. Now I am out over eight dollars for crap I'm not going to eat. I actually drove back to the restaurant in order to have any sauce so my Gyro wasn't so dry, which did not work and recompense for falafel. Still dry, still not good, very very salty, waaaay toooo salty. If you deprive yourself of this, you're really going to regret it. I highly recommend the kibbeh ball, turkey tabbouleh and the hummus. The gentleman working there was just fantastic too. This restaurant is hands down my favorite restaurant in Jax. All of the food is fresh and served immediately. Raymond, the owner, is such a nice guy and really wants to make customers feel welcome and satisfied. My family and I come here all the time and always get the pita with hummus to start- it's a must! As for entrees, I always get the Schwarma, and it never dissapoints! Reservations are not needed as it is more on the casual side. read more

We drove 20 min out of the way to hit Noura and it was so worth it! Amazingly fresh with a unique touch on middle eastern food.

We went to Noura based on a recommendation and were very pleasantly surprised! The place I very unpretentious and bright. The owners were very nice to us and made us feel welcome. The service was wonderful as well. That is a great start anywhere! I had grape leaves stuffed with lamb and rice as well as the lamb kebabs! They were prepared perfectly. Even the hummus and fries were perfect. My fiancé had red snapper with rice and vegetables and loved it as well. This is healthy and tasty food! We will be back again very shortly! read more

I pass this place on my way home and just missed it. Tucked away in a plaza, this place has a home feel when you walk in. The food was absolutely authentic, flavorful, and amazing! This is one of our favorite restaurants for a healthy, satisfying meal that reminds me of my grandmother's cooking (which is a huge compliment!). I love everything on the menu (some favorites are shrimp kabab platter, red snapper, lamb Adana, spinach pies and meat pies to name a few), as well as the specials (stuffed cabbage, artichoke hearts/ground beef and stuffed squash). I also love asking the sides for the day because some of my favorites aren't on the (online) menu- cabbage salad, cauliflower and lentil rice. We've been eating here once a week since COVID hit and we feel safe getting takeout from here and will continue to. The owner is kind and takes pride in his food and it shows. Went in for lunch yesterday (Thursday) which apparently is the only day of the week that they offer raw kibbie (?). Not being familiar with this preparation, i passed, but they were very proud of it. The menu covers all the traditional bases, and serves both lunch size dishes and more elaborate platters. After ordering just a gyro, i was struck by "plate envy" seeing all the other food being delivered. Everything looked great and overhearing others comments everybody was pleased. I spent 5 days taking photos for their menu and was able to taste many of their menu items. My favorites were the grilled cheese pita with lentil soup and the freshly prepared salad with Lebanese seasoning, cucumbers, olive oil, and crispy pita chips. I was also able to meet the kitchen staff. All the meals are prepared fresh daily by employees who are passionate about cooking! They have many vegetarian and vegan options.
