Saturday, December 11, 2022, my bottom door handle would no longer open from the outside so once again I turned to Yelp for help. I got an immediate response from Alex at Nova Locksmith. I explained my situation to him. He then asked for me to send him pictures of the door handle from different angles to get an idea of what I needed. Alex assured me he could assist me. Since I wasn't really in a hurry to get my door fixed because I was going to be teleworking from home, I told Alex to come to my house on Monday. Alex came promptly on Monday for our appointment. He was super friend and very knowledgeable. He examined the door handle and saw that it was totally broken on the inside of the door. So the door handle had to be completely replaced. However, in order to match my old door handle, Alex made a trip back to his office to bring me a new replacement. The replacement was a perfect match! I also appreciate the way Alex was able to shape mine and my niece's original house keys to the new lock, so that way I could save the new two extra keys that came with the replacement lock as backup. Alex was quick and very thorough. He made sure the door was in alignment with the new lock and that our keys worked. He also gave some professional advice about my niece's key being too thin because it was one of those decorative keys that had Hello Kitty on it. He said that the key was thin at that bottom and bulky on the top so it could potentially break if too much pressure was used to turn it in the lock. I relayed Alex's advice to my niece and she immediately took a new key. Alex was not only proficient in his skills but he was also a neat worker. Once the new lock was replaced, he packed everything up to take with him. My front room was nice and tidy again. Very early Saturday morning I was frantically looking for anyone that could help me unlock my car.
