The nicest and most competent locksmith on the peninsula. The day before a flight to England and I couldn't find the key to the lockbox where I stored my passport. Not a big deal, I thought. But ten phone calls later, I was left with the option to a) pay 240 dollars for a mobile locksmith b) pay 75 dollars for someone to try, with no promise it would work, or c) go to England next year instead. Most of them said that it couldn't be picked because it was a double sided key, so nothing could be done. Then I called Oshi. We were super worried we wouldn't be able to get back in the car because it's a 2010 Scion TC. However, Oshri and his partner didn't let us down. They used different methods and explained to us what they were doing. They could see that we were stressed, but Oshri kept reassuring us that he will be able to retrieve the keys in the trunk. It took less than a half an hour for them to get the car door to open then the trunk to pop up. It was really neat to see the various of locksmith methods they used on the car. Oshri and his partner we're friendly, positive, and reassuring. He gave us an invoice so we can get an reimbursement from our car insurance company. A few weeks after the incident, I wasn't able to get the reimbursement due to the fact that I lost the invoice that Oshri gave me. So, I texted Oshri to ask if he was able to give me another copy or send me a newer version via email. I had Oshri come out on two different occasions, and both times I was extremely pleased. He was punctual and clearly outlined my options. His humbleness and honesty are a rare quality today. In my case the door lock was getting almost impossible to turn. Rather than just suggesting a new lock, he advised that we lubricate the existing lock first. Door still didn't open as smoothly. Next, we checked alignment decided we need to provide more room. After he shaved down the opening in the door frame to provide more room, the lock worked like new. Lastly, he offered to tweak the spring to get the door closing better - something that I didn't think about improving. I had a deadbolt installed and in 4 years it started to rust. He was the expert, never said anything about upgrading so it would not rust due to the weather. I took his word and just used what he offered. A deadlock should not fall apart/rust in 4 years. Cheap quality products! After some fussing, he was going to come over and make it right. I appreciate the effort. Then I get a call and he is arguing with me. Now I'm wasting my evening. Fail on the customer service too. The work might be done with no problems, but if you have a problem after, will he stand behind his work. My experience...NO. Check the quality of the product and not just the work.
