Disappointing Stay - Poorly Maintained Property Our stay at **283 Marcello Blvd., Kissimmee, FL** was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, you pay a significant amount of money for what turns out to be an illusion. The photos used to advertise this property are very misleading. At first glance, the home appears beautiful, but once you begin looking closer, the lack of maintenance and cleanliness becomes obvious. The home had numerous maintenance issues throughout. Wallpaper was peeling from the walls, several TV remotes were missing, the air hockey table had no puck, the foosball table had no ball, and many of the games provided were in a foreign language. Several toilets backed up into the showers, bathroom cabinets were falling apart, and the dining table leaned badly and was literally propped up with paper towels for support. Cleanliness was another major concern. Several beds had sheets and headboards with what appeared to be mold, body fluids, stains, and hair, as though they had not been properly cleaned. Because of the visible stains and overall condition of the bedding, we felt it was necessary to wash several sets of sheets ourselves before using them. A few of the bedrooms had a strong damp, moldy odor. The vacuum cleaner looked as though it had not been emptied in months. The carpeted staircase was heavily stained, and the upstairs landing had exposed adhesive residue where a decorative item had apparently been been removed. Ironically, there was a sign requesting that guests not wear shoes on the carpet. For a 12-bedroom home, there was only one functional washer and dryer set, located upstairs, and it repeatedly tripped the circuit breaker. Although there were two laundry closets, only one was actually equipped with appliances, making it extremely inconvenient for a house of this size. The kitchen was also disappointing. We traveled with our own pots and pans because we were concerned there would not be enough cookware. While there were some pots available, they were below expectations. Neither refrigerator's ice maker worked, and the stove's control markings had been rubbed off, making it difficult to determine the proper burner settings. Outside, the problems continued. The outdoor trash receptacle was broken, allowing raccoons to make a mess throughout the area. Several decorative pieces were broken, and many of the window blinds were damaged. The theater room was enjoyable, but exposed wiring was hanging from the walls, creating an unfinished and potentially unsafe appearance. Throughout the home, many light bulbs were mismatched, missing, or simply did not work. Parking was another major inconvenience. There was very limited parking at the property, and the nearest available parking area was approximately three-quarters of a mile away. If you are traveling with elderly or disabled guests, plan to drop them off at the house before parking and prepare for a long walk in the Florida heat. To make matters worse, we were informed that the local ice cream truck driver also operates the towing service, so parking enforcement appears to be taken very seriously. The only saving grace of our stay was that the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the theater room, which helped distract them from the many issues throughout the property. Overall, this property has tremendous potential, but it is in desperate need of maintenance, repairs, and a thorough deep cleaning. The current condition of the home does not reflect the premium price being charged or the expectations created by the online photographs. I cannot recommend this property until these issues are addressed. read more

This property turned into a serious safety concern shortly after check-in. The listing did not match reality -- the couch was torn up, there were brown stains on the floors, and two bed frames were broken. But the worst part was when water began pouring from the ceiling and electrical light fixtures, creating a slipping hazard and potential electrical/fire risk. We had children and an elderly family member with us, and it felt genuinely unsafe to stay. Maintenance admitted this is a recurring issue they've dealt with before, meaning the host knowingly continues renting an unsafe home. When we contacted the host to request a refund and proper checkout due to safety risks, they refused to assist, denied responsibility, and declined to process a checkout through Airbnb, blocking any resolution or refund. Resort Review: Windsor Island Resort - Booked via Topvillas | Managed by Nova Vacation Rentals Each year, my family and I book our annual vacation through Topvillas, and it's always a highlight of our year. This time, we stayed at Windsor Island Resort, managed by Nova Vacation Rentals. The home itself was very spacious and comfortably fit our group of 15. The private pool was a favorite for the kids and was well maintained throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the community pool area, especially the slides and other amenities. However, we did experience several maintenance issues during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed that one of the lounge chairs was badly damaged, and many of the dining room chairs had loose legs, making them unsafe to sit in. We reported the issues, and maintenance did come out promptly. They removed the damaged lounge chair and tightened the dining chair legs, which we appreciated. There were additional concerns: the refrigerator's ice maker wasn't working at first due to a frozen compartment caused by a left-behind water bottle. We managed to thaw it out ourselves and get it working again. Midway through our trip, we discovered a broken lamp in the children's room--it had been propped up against the wall, making it hard to notice initially. The television in the pink room also wasn't working. Maintenance came to assess it and told us he would return in 25 minutes to fix it, but unfortunately, he never came back. Lastly, the pool enclosure screens were not fully secure, and we had to catch and remove several frogs and lizards from the screened-in pool area. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed being together as a family. The kids loved the game room and private pool, and the overall space worked well for our group. Still, due to the number of maintenance concerns and incomplete follow-through, I don't believe we would choose to stay at Windsor Island Resort again. --- read more

It was on 80° in the home as Florida can get over 100° in weather. There was mildew in the showers upstairs. There were ants, black ants, crawling in three of the bedrooms. The sofa was with it. The living room sofa was The bed upstairs had a very big gap in where you rolled into the middle of It making it uncomfortable to sleep. we requested emergency maintenance to handle the air conditioner, and the other issues in the house, we was given the runaround nobody came. We had to leave out at midnight to go buy three fans just to be able to sleep in the home.. we called and called so many times to speak with to get emergency maintenance for all of the issues they didn't come until the next day. Not to mention that it was 14 of us and we are not home that is 80° and I could only have five cars the interest the gate is unbearable. It is unorganized you don't even leave out because it's so hard to get back in. The lines are down the street. There's no and then you got attitude from the security team. My family had to park down the street and random places like CVS or Walmart or McDonald's just to be able to come into the home. We had to leave out so many times to transport family members back-and-forth into the house just because they don't warn you prior to renting the property that you can only have so many vehicles they don't even have guest parking to make it convenient for renters that have families such an inconvenience. if I was you, I would never rent out of this community nor from this nova vacation company as they do not take care of their properties as management companies over properties that's in this location. I'm not sure about other ones and there's no help from them just to run around everyone saying the same thing and talking in circles beware of this place. This is the 2nd time we have used Nova Vacation Homes 3 years apart. Same issues plus more. 1st house a/c not working and broken showers! Took forever to fix. Think 2 days before we left a/c was working. Shower floor had cracks and they painted over it. Leaving a strong smell in the house! This time around the house was not what I reserved. I received a message TWO weeks before SPRING break informing me that the house I reserved was now part of a different Vacation company. This house is smaller than the 1st. A/c not working since we arrived. The outside temperature is lower than inside. Left messages and got a response after 24 hours, 12am. Wake up this morning to the ceiling leaking from the 2nd floor and water all over kitchen. Sent message to host company at 9am. Called Airbnb support and got them involved. Host person messages saying they were sending a person looking fix problems. It is 2:55pm and no one has been to house. Patio furniture is rusty and breaking. Our big beautiful house shown in Air BnB photos was barely that! Stains on pillows, chips in walls, hair from prior rentals. I really wanted to give the house a 5 star review because the house, community pool and location were great. With the cost, however, I was expecting a better equipped home, especially the kitchen. Only a drip coffee pot (No keurig), the pots and pans were horrible- the teflon completely worn off, only 1 roll of paper towels and 3 trash bags. Not even salt and pepper or a dish towel! We were 8 people in a 6 bedroom home for 5 days and there was only 1 half roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. No pool towels at all and the bath towels looked like they were 10 years old! Will never use Nova vacation homes at Champions Gate ever again. Woke up to mouse feces on kitchen counter and cockroaches in the utensils drawers. Called customer service which said they would have an exterminator out same day...no one came. Fresh mouse droppings every morning on the kitchen counter. If there was a way to rate the place we checked into today with no stars I wouldn't even offer that. To start, I believe this company scrubs their negative Airbnb reviews because there's absolutely no way the home we're currently experiencing has all good reviews, but the yelp reviews I found here reflect it perfectly. We've been to Orlando over 15 times and have never had a worse experience. The home we checked into today is the dirtiest vacation home I've ever walked into and as a host and avid traveler I've stayed in tons. The furniture is stained and had food on the fabric and the crevasse. The carpet is disgusting and we're afraid to even take our shoes off. It's apparent that this place has been "surface" cleaned for who knows how long. There's blood on the bathroom wall and shower curtain, dirt and hair everywhere to the point where pictures do it no justice. Customer service is horrible and they're refusing to transfer us to a different location. Rented a house near Disney June 11-15. This was a big family trip with my son and grandkids. Purposely picked the house because it had an awesome game room for the kids. Upon arrival the door code didn't work. Had to call to get a different one. Why send an email the day before if the code is going to be wrong? Once we got inside the kids went straight to the game room. There was supposed to be a video game counsel, air hockey, pool table, foosball and a basketball game. The video game counsel was there but there were no games or controllers, the air hockey table had a hole in it and had no paddles or pucks, the pool table had one stick that was broken, the basketball game was missing one hoop and the other was falling off. Only thing that worked was the foosball which the kids were not interested in. Within an hour I called Nova to report the issues. They said they would send maintenance out and would let us know they were coming. This was Sunday around 5 pm. After that call we started to notice other problems. Many of the ceiling fans had either dead or were missing their remote controls. In the master bedroom this meant that we could turn the fan on or off only (it was on low speed) and could not turn on the light. Would not have been a terrible problem except even though the AC was set to 72 the house did not cool below 77. There were two units, one for upstairs and one for down, and this was the case for both. There was a large coffee pot that did not work. We had to use a 4-cup pot and make two pots of coffee each am. Maintenance showed up Wednesday am with no prior notification. We showed them all the problems. They were surprised by how much was wrong. They brought a new pool stick. THAT's IT!! I texted and called Nova multiple times. At the end of our stay (checked out Thursday) I called and requested a partial refund due to issues we experienced. They said they would work on my request and would have an answer in 7-15 days. I told them that on day 16, without satisfactory resolution, that I would be writing a bad review. Not a threat, just a fact. I did not realize that you can only do a review on AirBNB within 14 days of checkout. I'm sure that Nova new that. They did not get back to me with a resolution until day 19 which meant no AirBNB review. The resolution was zero dollars returned. So not only was I disappointed with the house and lack of partial refund, I am always very angry about the fact that Nova knew I would no longer be able to write an AirBNB review. The quality and condition of these home are so poor they pose a risk to your family. The furniture is unstable and not secured to the wall. My 4 yr old grandson had a large dresser fall on top of him from pulling out a single drawer. The Windsor Island community is full of vacation rentals. The streets are overcrowded with cars and lined with bags of trash. Each night there were loud parties until all hours. We had a package that was delivered stolen from the front porch. The Nova team did nothing to help secure or locate the package even though they had security cameras on the front of the house. Everything from the thin single blankets on the beds to the small scratch towels were the lowest quality. The kitchen advertised as gourmet barely had the necessary supplies to cook a meal for 2. The Nova team was unresponsive and inconsistent. Don't let the themed rooms draw you in. None of the amenities were usable in our home. Gaming systems didn't work. Pool sticks broken, pool heater not working. These are not comfortable homes they are cheap bare hotels with no amenities. read more

Rented this house in Kissimmee for 4 nights Thursday-Monday for a girls get away & unfortunately it was a new listing without ratings. Was locked out when I first arrived but luckily I called & they responded quick as code wasn't working, I was able to get into house. Once inside we noticed the red light on water filter that it needed to be changed so called & maintenance came out within a few hours to change it, told him about the mold in garage. Unfortunately house 1st floor was filthy & had so many things wrong with it. We paid extra for the pool to be heated & it stopped working. 2 1/2 out of the 4 days we were there & finally after calling & texting pool service came out in afternoon. We could not use pool/spa that afternoon since it was shocked so smelt strong & needed hours to reheat. Apparently the filter was not cleaned beforehand & was clogged with suntan lotion which non of us used. Dark smelly mold in the garage where you use the dryer, they have 2 washing & 2 dryers but only 1 washer working properly. Was very disappointed with the responses from Nova customer service on the weekends. After several contacts they refunded me for heating the pool/spa but refused anything else. Finally had to contact airbnb who I rented through to get refunds on cleaning fee. This whole fiasco ruined the last 2 days as we rented the place to use the pool/spa plus had to clean the place & spent way to long calling & texting to get things resolved. First time using AirBnB, but my family has rented vacation homes in the area for years so we're by no means newbies in this arena. I chose this property specifically because of the number of years the "host" had been in business, coupled with Windsor Island being a newer resort. I thought this would ensure me a pleasantly seamless rental experiences. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival and initial inspection, the rugs were noticeably dirtier than I would have expected. The walls had many dings, dents, scuffs and made some areas appear worn and shabby. One of the upstairs bathroom sinks had a hole in it and water was shut off under it, so someone was aware of the situation. Tile in the living area was broken with crushed tile bits loose. The master bedroom dresser had a portion of the finish chipped off and several whole potato chips were still under the larger dresser. Nemo bedroom had an empty potato chip bag under the dresser. Majority of LED's did not work. Did not work at all in Mickey room. Princess room had the LED wires cut and therefore did not work. Nemo room had no power to outlet that LED's would have been plugged into. Only half of the Star Wars room LED's worked, under the bar in game room worked when we arrived but died shortly after. Multiple remotes in each room (LEDS, fan, light, TV) with no distinction on what belonged to what and most didn't have batteries or weren't operating. Very frustrating. Star Wars bedroom drawer did not stay shut, would continue to roll back open and stay that way the entire trip. Game room very misleading, pool table was broken, pirates of the Caribbean "game" is not even a game? It looks like they took an old arcade game and tried to put a TV in it but whatever it was, also didn't work. Homemade bar was cute but broken and missing pieces. TV had screen damage that looked like it was hit by a pool ball. Ceiling tiles hanging off. Pool deck was dirty with other ppls trash(water balloon bits, straws, food wrappers in the bushes). Lounge chairs were dirty and flimsy, came apart easily. Outdoor table had cigarette burn marks and mold growing in the textured weave of the table. Pool was dirty with massive amounts of hair and plastic bits. Water was cloudy the entire stay. I requested pool cleaners come and was told they would reach out and discuss my complaints with their pool company. No further correspondence about the pool until pool maintenance came for their regularly scheduled cleaning at which point even the worker noted how green the water was, then proceeded to overdose the pool with chemicals that only minimally changed the water color. Debris and dirt pooled at the bottom. Plenty of bugs in water due to holes in the screen. Skimmer was ripped and unusable. Their pool filter/pump clearly needs servicing as it's not working properly. Kitchen items seriously lacking, one very scratched up frying pan (teflon almost completely scratched off) for a house that sleeps 15. Taco shell in the drawer under the oven. Water and ice dispenser on fridge leaked the entire time and we had to keep towels there to prevent water splashing onto the floor every time we opened the freezer. I immediately (at 2am after a 15 hour drive) emailed with pictures and at a minimum requested new frying pans. Nova Vacation homes is very responsive in that they respond to messages quickly, but the responses lacked any real solution. The frying pans did show up on my door the following day though, to their one and only credit. On day 2 I got a message requesting access to the property so someone could replace the sink to which I agreed. On day 3, Saturday at 8 pm two men arrived with a new sink, took the broken sink out and then left with nothing but a hole where the sink had been and it stayed that way for the remainder of our 11 night stay. Many of these complaints could easily be overlooked had there been just a few, but so many little problems create a bigger one. Overall, my takeaway was that this property needs better management with more thorough inspections between guests. The property needs to be maintained at a higher level than what is being done. The home was clean in that you could tell it was professionally cleaned but only on a surface level. No deep cleaning is being done. Several areas of mold in the primary shower grout. Dirty kitchen walls. Food under dressers. All this tells me that good, thorough cleaning is not being done. *added* One week after checkout I was sent a bill to replace the tv that had damage despite it being done prior to our arrival. I requested a partial refund through Airbnb due to the property not being as described and the host immediately countered with several more made up charges in retaliation. Honestly it pains me to leave a bad review here but this is strictly because of the customer service for our stay in Windsor Island. We paid the extra fee for the pool to be heated and found the condenser a solid block of ice the day after we checked in. We alerted them of the issue and followed up daily on when it would be fixed and no one ever showed up. With 4 small kids the pool was useless and the hot tub would only get Luke warm. I requested a refund of the service and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt to rectify the situation before leaving the review on AirBnB and they conveniently waiting until after the review window expired before they let me know they would not refund me. It's unreal that a company this large can't pay back for a service that was paid for and not given. It pained me to find multiple reviews after the fact on different websites stating the same issue and none of the AirBnB reviews eluded to this. The house itself was beautiful. The kids were elated to have themed rooms and a game room. There was tons of space for the 12 people we had staying. There were not nearly enough towels for all of us and zero pool towels (we had to buy from Walmart) and the garbage instructions had us scratching our heads the entire time. What was listed in the directions was not how the garbage was getting picked up and by the end of the week we just threw our hands up about it. The club house was awesome, warm pool, great food and the service there was amazing. The drinks can get pricey when you spend the day but worth it if you get the souvenir cup. All in all we had an amazing time and would love to stay in that resort again but Nova has ruined our experience with renting from large companies- we will stick to the mom and pops who care about their guests. read more

Overall, it was great place to stay... My only complaints would be: 1. The blinds for the sliding doors were all broken and you couldn't shut them. So, anyone could see into the living room all day and night. 2. There were no extra towels for the pool. There were 5 towels total and we had a party of 6. So, we had to go buy some so we could shower and use the pool. 3. The washer machine had something wrong with it. It was very loud and made strange noises. Extremely unsatisfactory experience. We rented a home this company manages in the "Windsor at Westside Resort" in Kissimmee, FL. The rental agreement required our payment in full, before we arrived. The home is advertised as "luxury" and "satisfaction guaranteed". We called the company's customer service number to report health, safety, and condition issues immediately upon arrival at the property...as instructed in the documentation provided by the company prior to arrival. We were told our issues would be resolved. The next day we called customer service again to follow up. This time we were asked to email photographs and a list of our concerns to the company's customer service email address, which we did the same day. Over the next 4 days we called/emailed several times daily. Each day we received a response with only minor variations of the statement...'your concerns have been reported to local property management'. By the time we departed the house, we'd spent more than 14 hours of our vacation time documenting, communicating, and following up on the issues, yet only 1 of the long list of issues had been resolved. Upon departure we requested a partial refund of 36% of what we'd prepaid. We calculated that amount to address the lack of access to specific amenities which were left unsafe, unhealthy, or simply never provided. We did not include in the calculation and of the condition issues or our time/effort spent. We received an email response from the company 2 days after departure which included an apology for our inconvenience, blame shifted to local property management for failure to address our issues, and blame shifted to local property management and the home owner for only refunding us 9% of what we paid. The email also stated the amount was specifically chosen to address only one specific amenity we prepaid for which was not provided. All other missing or unsafe/unusable amenities we prepaid for were ignored, the health and safety issues we reported were ignored, the condition issues we reported were ignored, and our time/effort was ignored. Further, the "satisfaction guaranteed" commitment was abandoned and the rental agreement ignored. I do not recommend renting a property managed by this company. Our experience showed us the company will not effectively manage the property, will not effectively respond to or resolve customer issues, will readily shift blame, and will abandon guarantees and signed agreements. read more

We rented A Blue Dream Come True in Champions Gate 12/28/23-1/03/24. I so hate to leave a bad review. I usually try to find the silver lining. The pool was heated as expected but otherwise this house was in very poor repair. No supplies at all. A home that sleeps 28 only had 7, yes 7 forks. We were two families that shared the property and we had to eat in shifts. Carpets were filthy. No dish towels. Broken can opener. Not enough chairs to go around the dining table. Ice maker was broken. One bed had broken slats so the mattress drooped to the floor. No outside dining table. No carpet in living room. The photos must have been staged a long time ago! Broken and leaking kitchen faucet. Broken pantry door handle. Theater equipment did not work. We called multiple times and never got to speak with anyone. Dear fellow travelers, I feel compelled to share my recent experience at an Airbnb property to provide an honest account for potential guests. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several significant issues. Upon our arrival, despite paying for an early check-in, the house was unprepared and far from ready for us. Adding to the disappointment, the hot tub, for which we paid an additional fee for heating, was only at 74 degrees, nowhere near the expected 100-104 degrees. Regrettably, our dismay extended to the cleanliness of the house, a crucial aspect of any accommodation. We were shocked to find the bedding hadn't been washed, and the bed contained socks, hair, and even snot. The state of both the carpet and tile floors was deplorable, turning our feet black. Attempting to address the situation ourselves was futile due to a malfunctioning vacuum cleaner, exacerbating the cleanliness issues. This Airbnb property stands out as one of the dirtiest we've ever experienced, and it's disheartening that we chose it for our stay. I'm writing this review with great disappointment. I stayed at the Nova vacation home and was so disappointing from the beginning. We walked in the house and it looks nothing like the pictures. On top of that one of the rooms we couldn't even use the bed was so broken and on the floor we couldn't use it even if you wanted to. Then all the comforters was dirty was we spent our first day washing smh. Second day we discovered the pool was so dirty we couldn't even use it and we also pay extra for a grill that didn't work so we prepared all this food for the grill to have too improvise and put it in the oven. You would think that would be all we had to deal with but No, we also discovered roaches. I wouldn't recommend this organization to my worst enemy. Please be aware and book somewhere eles. Because they are poor communication and didn't even compensate us for all the things we went through just horrible save your money people. read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Nova Vacation homes. My family booked this home for a weekend, and when we arrived we was met with a house, pool, grill that was not as advertised. The rooms were dirty, the bed was uncomfortable and the amenities were not as described. The pictures are very deceiving the basketball court not on the property the pool wasn't as big and very dirty it look like the kids were swimming in swamp water some random guy had to tell me get the kids out it's dangerous for them to be in there. Eventually someone had to come put chlorine in the pool.Poor poor poor communication we had a big issue with (roaches). There were games in game room that were inoperable. We spent a lot of our vacation fixing their mistakes. We couldn't even get the grill going no propane so we went bought propane ourselves and the grill still didn't work properly and that's like us men bonding time over the grill with beers and we were robbed of that special moment. We were robbed of many special bonding moments. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated and the service I received. I expect more from Airbnb and I will not be returning. I will also be sure to leave a negative review to warn others. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

Stayed at one of your homes July 13 to 16. Upon arrival the carpet on stairs was filthy. The banisters dirty. The bedroom I was sleeping in, the comforter was turned on other side because there was a big yellow stain on it. Big flies everywhere. Wasn't worth the money. My grandbaby left her IPad & y'all kept it!!! You get no stars from me!!Dirty towels, cheap finishes. Oh yeah the cockroach!!! Poor communication, no chlorine in pool. The home we stayed in was nice. There was plenty of room. Some of the rooms were missing remotes. Once TV did not work. The Mini split ac in the garage never worked. I made phone calls and sent messages about that and it was never fixed. My father left his wallet. It had his ID and my mother's as well. I messaged Nova Vacation homes about this and told them where to look. I finally found out the wallet was found. I was given instructions on how to get it shipped to my parents. Nova sent me an invoice for $5, I paid this. I guess that was their fee for looking for the wallet. I was then told to go on ups and create a shipping label and email to them. I did that. I paid just over $15.00 and emailed in on a Sunday. The estimated delivery would have been Thursday. It is now Wednesday, I have text and called Nova to find out why the tracking shows that the wallet has not been shipped. I keep getting the run around. I am told my message will be sent to the correct department. I am quite frustrated after a full 10 hour day of trying to get some information, I have received no update. No one speaks very good English, if that matters to anyone. read more

I will start from the beginning. This will be very lengthy. We arrived 2/15 around 8pm Est. We could not get into the resort because our names had been removed from "the list" to enter. We sat at the gate for over 30 minutes trying to get in touch with NOLA (they are the property managers) by calling, texting and sending Airbnb messages. it took them 30 minutes to respond to our text. When we finally got to the house there was a bunch of issues. -refrigerator was not on, and there was water all over the floor -there was handprints on the doors and walls -there was food and someone's fingernail on the floor in front of the refrigerator -the house smelled awful -there was food on the dishes, counter, and backsplash -there was poop on the wall in one of the bathrooms -the curtain rods were hanging off the wall -the ping pong table was not there -the video game did not work - the pool table did not have all the supplies needed to play with it - ceiling fans did not spin -remotes for ceiling fans/lights didn't work - lights were covered in bugs right above the places you would eat -some off the ceiling lights did not turn on -the floor was sticky and disgusting - the lights buy the pool did not work - the sliding door leading out to the pool didn't lock - there were buckets off paint just sitting in the laundry room - dirty water was sitting in a mop bucket in the laundry room - the mop was black - the a/c in the garage didn't work - the door leading to the garage wouldn't open I contacted Nova immediately. They responded an hour later and told me to check the breaker for fridge in the garage. I reset it. The fridge continued to leak on the floor. They never responded to any other issues. I went and bought cleaning supplies the next day and spent the first day of my vacation cleaning and doing dishes. Maintenance came the next day and took the handle off of the garage door and had an a/c guy look at the a/c. Maintenance said he would come back in 2 hours but never returned. A/c guy said the a/c needed to be replaced. I contacted Nova the next day and no response, and again our names were removed from the list so I called nova and after an hour of calling I was able to get back into the resort. I asked when maintenance was coming back and was told that the work orders were completed and I said no they were not. I spent over a week of back and forth with both Nova and Airbnb. The video game was never fixed. I looked for another house to go to but everything was booked. I received a message from nova the day before we were supposed to leave saying they were coming to the house. Later that night I asked why they came and the response was that they installed a ping pong table. They did not! I responded with a picture of the giant box in the hallway that was not installed. I should not have had to spend my vacation arguing back and forth with nova or Airbnb. Nova kept saying the were fixing things but they never showed. I took pictures, and videos when we first arrived, after they said they fixed stuff a week later, and after we packed everything up and loaded the car. They never gave me the amenities that they advertised and never resolved the issues. I cleaned the property and left it cleaner than it was when I arrived. read more

The photos are deceiving. The house is very dirty and the rugs need to be replaced. We didn't even want to take our shoes off. So much stuff was broken. The sprinkler was broken and dumped so much water all over our cars and we got soaked anytime we got back to the house at night. They never fixed it and I complained 2 or 3 times. Then her excuse was it was the HOA fault. The baseboard were so grimey(I sent her a pic which she didnt acknowledge)and everything was dusty. The linen was stained and didn't smell fresh. Closet doors were broken, blinds were broken, drawers were broken, and the walls were filthy. We dried some of our clothes the last day and we smelled a weird smell and looked behind it and the tube was off!! That's a fire hazard! This house put a huge damper on our Disney trip. Then we were a little late getting our the house and she still charged me for being late and a cleaning fee. I have NO IDEA what the cleaning fee pays for because they expected us to wash our linen at the last minute which wasn't even in the check out instructions. Her responses were so short and dismissive and she acknowledged none of the complaints I had. She literally said "sorry for inconvenience". Never booking again. read more

Having paid a large amount for the rental of the villa and 2 families with young children being very excited about arrival, along with the fact that the rental company, Nova Vacation Homes, had been helpful pre-arrival we were very disappointed with the villa and rental company on arrival. The villa is not as described or as shown in the pictures. These items are listed below, along with the poor service received when the issues were raised. There was metal sticking out of the ground by the pool - this was reported several times, especially after one the children cut their foot on this and was not resolved at all during our stay. The sun lounges were cheap and dirty and nothing like the luxury ones shown in the pictures on the listing. There is missing outdoor furniture, the pictures show 3 sets of tables and chairs, there were only 2 and nothing like the ones in the pictures. The ones provided were of cheaper quality. The main table was cheap metal/plastic with no cushions and the 2nd the cushions were filthy and mouldy. The kitchen was completely lacking in equipment. The property description states 'all the appliances, cookware and utensils you need' - there was no chopping board, barely enough glasses, no peeler, no grater, no pizza slice, chopping board or ice cream scoop or any BBQ utensils. The towels provided were old and threadbare along with being very small, not the luxury towels expected. The carpets were all dirty and not very well hoovered. There was a missing games controller, with only 1 in a property with 9 bedrooms. The basketball machine was broken - the electrics did not work and the sheet was not held in place so the balls did not stay in the machine. All the showers were fitted with very basic shower heads and not the luxury showers expected. The bedding on all beds was poor quality and not the soft quality linen described in the property description. There were no door shelves in the fridge, this is the only item that got resolved. Obviously some of these issues are less important, but the major ones where a child's foot was cut and not resolved nor the items missing or differing from the property description should have been resolved as soon as possible. Having raised these issues several times whilst on holiday nothing (other than missing shelves) was resolved, especially not the metal that caused an injury. After returning home and asking for partial refund, this was denied and no refund of any sort has been offered. I would suggest not renting this villa or any through Nova Vacation Homes. read more

We stayed at 2609 Windsor Hills, Kissimme, renting from Nova Vacation Homes. The house was absolutely filthy on arrival, broken and torn furniture, filthy bathrooms, skirtings and walls covered in stains and splashed food. Hardly any supplies left like toilet rolls, waste bags or dishwasher tablets. Pool area has broken patio tiles and covered in weeds. All pool furniture is old and broken. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Don't get a rental from Nova. They are vacay slumlords. The house was 85° inside and the A/C doesnt work at all, from lack of maintainance. The pool water was yellow with 8 used water bottles in it. We vouldnt even open the upstairs windows with no screens. Half the beds were messy. Cancel your reservation with these guys or don't book with them period. read more

There was no cue ball for the table until the last evening. The trash never got emptied and in the second day we had to find a place to take the trash. They expect you to wash your towel but didn't even give you a washer pod for any days. Gave you 3 dishwasher pods and about 2 ounces of liquid dishwashing soap. The wifi was weak and you had to go up stairs just to connect. Kids had school work. Living area television signal went out and when the technical staff came to bring the cue ball he said it was nothing he could do but report it. We rented this house because of the pool table family competition, didn't happen. They tell you that you will be charged for trash not in the trash box but it never got picked up and was small stuff on the yard when we arrived. House have good space but they need to get a better cleaning staff the door frame going to pool area had mold all over it. 10 bedrooms on Oxymoron way. read more

I have been visitor to this community for first time and have always considered it an amazing area for family vacations but unfortunately this one was the worst experience that I ever had so far. I would rate it as 0 if I could, starting from customer service (Nova Vacation) to the conditions of the house which didn't match the photos and the services they sell on their site. Of the many problems I had with the house, I am only going to highlight a few, such as we could never use the swimming pool because it was broken and we even paid an additional fee for get it heated, . TheRegarding cleanliness, I would give it a 0. My wife spent the first day washing bedding, towels and cleaning .
