Having high expectations, I was…read moreskeptical about the overall surgery, and concerned about the effects of anesthetic (sick, dizzy, head aches, etc). From registration to post-operative processes, I was greatly impressed with the staff. The nurse that cared for me thru the process was exceptional (attentive, caring and considerate as well as social), the anesthesiologist was efficient and caring and communicating what he was doing, and Dr. DeBoo was great! After surgery they helped keep me comfortable and told me of post operative care. First visit with Jennifer Daniels MD went well. She thoroughly discussed my breast cancer and…read morepossible lymph surgery. I was impressed with her detailed assessment and what to expect. She scheduled me for a CT scan, and RFID. Done within days. It started down hill after that, week after week not scheduled for surgery. I was told the scheduler was off and wait for a call. Another week not scheduled. I called Scheduler not there again that day and I needed a cardiac release before surgery could be scheduled. I called my heart doctor never received a request so called dr office got the request form and he got me in right away and faxed the release. Still not scheduled ... I called Dr Daniels office heart dr sent cardiac release why haven't I been scheduled for surgery? I was told scheduler is Only there thru Monday-Wed. Another week went by and scheduler not there. So I finally went to the office and complained isn't there someone else who can schedule my surgery? Well yes but they said the doctor took my file home! What? I finally got the call and surgery scheduled June 1st. Okay Then a few days later I was called surgery moved to May 28 then the night before surgery they called and moved surgery now on May 29 and finally Had the lumpectomy for breast cancer and 3 lymph nodes removed. Follow-up visit with Dr Daniels had huge swelling in armpit. Dr Daniels drained the swelling. Swelling started again same day but this weekend really swollen size of baseball and now pain my arm. Exercises hasn't helped. Worse over the weekend. Week to Dr Daniels office early today Monday morning to see if she was in. The red haired nurse yelled at me you should have called to get appointment. You can't just show up. I already have an appointment this Wednesday. I'm too uncomfortable to wait. Red haired nurse yelled you should have called on call dr. She glared at me and said if I wanted she would look at it. We walked back to the room she angrily yelled and glared at me you coming in or not? I hesitated to go in. She yelled don't just stand there ignoring me you coming in or not! I left and I'm never going back!!!! I've had many surgeries at 77 years old I've never been treated so badly with such arrogance and disdain! Her attitude was how dare you just show up. You should have called for an appointment! I have an upcoming appointment I'm too uncomfortable to wait. I went to the ER!

Took 2 weeks for them to call and tell me that my insurance denied me for the nerve block. But yet my insurance said it was covered. Then they gave me tramadol which does nothing. Then I get my bill, $929 for the office visit and almost $400 for my urine test. This is such an overcharge I cancelled my next appointment. they are taking advantage of people in pain. Then they did not help me. I will go back to my Orthopedic doctor and let them know all this. i will say the staff I spoke to on the phone are very nice people along with the doctor. Sharon R.
