Despite the many advances in technology, the level of competence and leadership of this facility has dropped significantly. I now trust the Dayton VA more than the 88th medical group, and if you're a veteran, you know that is a bold statement. For standard daily care, the clinics are average among most facilities, of which I have a fairly extensive experience. The 88th will likely never match the level of care available at most Navy medical facilities but on it's own, the advanced care staff are downright dangerous, most particularly the surgical staff. I have 35 years, 50 hospitalizations and 35 surgeries behind me, including here at Wright Patterson, and I have never seen this level of absolute incompetence anywhere, ever. Do not let them touch your dependents unless you plan to spend the rest of your life caring for them after being utterly debilitated and infectious with MRSA for life. Thar is not an exaggeration at all. Avoid theire surgeons and critical care staff like the plague.

In July and August 2016, had blood work done, seen a hematologist, told I had P.V…read more Polycythemia Vera, than next week told I didn't have PV just high red blood counts, then still complaining of several symptoms to PFP, so over several months I seen several specialists with no diagnosis, went to an opthemologist because one of my symptoms was eyes hurting and light sensitivity, but eyes were fine, was discussing all my symptoms and he asked if I been tested for Lyme Disease, so ask PFP for testing,well it came back positive for Lyme, referred me to Dr Manis took two weeks before he said he couldn't help me, by this time I was informed I had no ins. due to my ignorance, So then I ask PFP to fill out long term ins. they refused to do so and then I get a call from PFP saying they couldn't help me anymore and to find a new Dr. Office, so know I'm going thru Lyme disease and all its nasty symptoms and co-infections which are life debilitating! They just up and let me go with no help what so ever! Plus my cnp at PFP would just sit there at every visit and would just repeat the word sure sure sure as I would explain my symptoms very annoying! And supposingly was concerned about me at one point a nurse told me but still let me down in my time of need.

I recently moved to East Dayton and decided to ditch Kettering Health Network and support something smaller. Boy did I make a mistake. This place will see you only to make you reschedule to do blood work. I've been 3 times now and if they had their way they would have seen me at least 6 times. At $90 a visit (after Cigna pays their part) Even once is too much. Had to a see a doc who wasn't my primary one, today for an emergency. She would not speak to me about anything but the emergency (wanted her to order a blood test) and was just flat out rude. To the point I commented "someone is extra friendly today" Her response was asking me if I wanted to leave...NO i just waited 40+ minutes and that was our first 5 minutes of interaction. The office visit lasted only 10 min and I was prescribed some antibiotics. I would not even crawl in here if I had just broken both legs and happened to be right in front of this building. Kettering I am coming back!
