He informed me the pin hole was in the evaporator coil and would need to be replaced. I was told I had to pay for today's charge and would be notified with the total amount for repairs. My charge for the technician to come and diagnose the issue was around $500 (no repairs included).y I shared the price with some friends only to discover how ridiculous the price was. This company wanted to charge over $3000 in addition to repair my unit. The warranty did not cover any labor and would not cover the $3000 part because I did not have the annual cleaning.
