    Mountain View's entering park

The perfect spot in Marin for staying in your RV! It is very hard to find somewhere that is so accommodating and welcomes dogs. This was a huge deciding factor in staying here. They have a spacious dog park as well to let your pups run. Beautiful mountain views and a great nature park right across the road. The staff and management are always so nice and helpful. We love how personal they always are with us! They are patient and truly care about who stays here! Be sure to explore downtown Novato too! Lots of great places across the highway, it couldn't be a better location- whether staying long term or just passing through.

Novato RV park, A safe place to stay, when exploring the North Bay area.

There is plenty of tent camping sites. The restroom/shower sites are well maintained and clean. The campground area can only be accessed through a security gate. Visiting friends and guest must pay a fee and register at the office. There are a variety of things to explore around the facility and plenty of activities for kids - Petting Zoo, huge pool, awning canopies at pool, hot tub, Rock Wall, Jumping Pillow, mining area, biking, etc. The grounds are nicely landscaped and have inviting environments. The store is very well stocked with a vast variety of camping and other items. I have been to a variety of KOA campgrounds but none have been to the beauty and level of experience as this location. My only con about this location is the price of the sites and merchandise and propane. I suppose this could be the very reason this location is so exceptional. Location, location, location and beauty. The representatives were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

I did love the playground for our littles--we got lucky and got camp spots right next to one. River access was easy. Does get packed due to the fact they allow day users to access as well. We checked in on Sunday and stayed until Thursday. Give or take 3 whole days/night of the bathroom not being cleaned. Showers had clumps of hair, razors left on the floor--just gross honestly. I brought it to the attention of the maintenance guy to kindly ask when they would be cleaning next, to be answered with," I'm not sure, you can drive to the other bathrooms." Brought it to the attention to the guy in charge at the front, where I was then rudely spoken over as he answered the phone mid conversation, to then continue with their regular lady has Covid and he's had complaints about this maintenance guy a few times now. He did ask to give us free ice but I declined and said I just wanted clean bathrooms. Then to top it off, as any camp night slows down around a fire, laughs are had and stories are told, a worker comes over to tell us to be quit and accuses us of being on drugs(acid) to be exact. SMH. What a completely ignorant moron. Yes we were laughing and being a little loud, but no excuse for a worker to speak to any guest this way. Owners apologized but like I said for what we paid, the distance some of us drove and how we were treated--would not waste my money again.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to!!! Kelly and Mikal treat their guests like family. From the first time I called Kelly was so kind and helpful. I have been numerous times now and it feels like going to a little slice of heaven each time. It's clean, beautiful, quiet, and they live on site so if there's an issue they are there to help! The sites are spread out and spacious so you won't have someone right on top of you. The sites are kept up so nicely and the campground itself is simply gorgeous. The bathrooms are clean, there are several free showers, and there is firewood for sale as well. The town of Guerneville itself is only five minutes away, and there are tons of cute little shops as well as a major grocery store. There are darling little art galleries, clothing stores, bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops, etc. The ocean is only a 25 minute drive down the road. There are endless little beaches to stop at, as well as numerous little beachside towns with restaurants and coffee shops. You can spend a whole day exploring highway 1, then head back to your campsite to relax. I feel so lucky to only live 3 hours away and be able to head there any time I want. I'm so grateful to Kelly and Mikal for being so accommodating and kind.

We are getting into camping this year and this was our trial run with all the new gears we bought. We rented camper site #1 which is labeled as "premium". Maybe it was a bit bigger than the regular sites but other than that it didn't feel particularly premium. Since #1 and 48 are the first and last sites in the campground loop and closest to the visitor center, they had the best WiFi reception. The downside is we were the farthest to the bathrooms and showers which were located on the opposite site of the loop. This made trekking over at night a bit inconvenient. The bathrooms were somewhat clean and the showers are coin-operated at the cost of 25c per minute. Shampoo and body wash were provided which is nice. All in all this was a nice introductory experience for us. If we were to come back to camp at this park we will opt for site #3 which is nicely tucked into the shaded corner and is fairly close to the bathrooms.
