She was pleased to be able to schedule the appointment for 2 hours later. This urgent care looked very clean and staff were professional. Medical Assistant Danielle was amazing and efficient. Our real hero, though, was NP Alisha. She was OUTSTANDING and quickly diagnosed Carter with a severe double ear infection. Alisha was everything a NP is supposed to be. She was knowledgeable, emphathetic and approachable. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic!

We waited in the lobby for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. It is my opinion he should have been brought back into the ER immediately, and someone, besides me, should be transporting the patient to the patient area. After being discharged, 2 days later his leg became infected. He returned to this ER, 30 minutes before shift change, with what appeared to me, an empty waiting room and the patient area of the ER. I pushed my husband into the ER, and it struck me odd that medical staff would allow an obviously elderly woman struggling with pushing the wheelchair into the ER intake area. (Note, this happened at both visits to ER.) Once vitals were taken, we were approached by the ER Dr. Velasquez asking why we came here and not Chandler. I was very surprised by the question and replied I wasn't sure if this was serious and wasn't sure it was safe to drive an hour away. My replied we would go to Chandler, to which the Dr. replied "too late!" There is absolutely no reason in the world a person, especially the doctor, should speak to a patient like that. Thank goodness the original ER Dr. Bennett was starting and we received much better care from that point on. Footnote: husband was re admitted for 7 day stay. The care outside that exchange was respectful, professional and through. Dr.Bennett was very knowledgeable and remembered us from the visit 3 weeks prior. Staff was considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable and skilled in their duties. In summary, no comment on billing as things seem to be proceeding nicely. In particular, I'm not pleased with how ER triage the patients. It would seem to me that complaints of SOB, heart, etc should be seen immediately and in the control of the professional from that point one. Very important for staff, especially the doctor, to keep snide remarks to themselves, at least out of earshot of the patient. Makes the whole establishment look bad. There are a lot of medical options available.

I was questioned about why I was coming back to Urgent Care and not making an appointment with my doctor. This was after I waited in the waiting room for almost 40 minutes past my appointment time, then sat in the exam room waiting for another 20 minutes. I wasn't seen by a physician for over an hour. When I finally was seen, I couldn't get anything for my cough even though I explained that OTC meds aren't helping. This is a little ridiculous, especially when I made an appointment so I wouldn't have to sit around and wait.

My thought was no just about my complaints, but rather that if someone with a serious condition got the same level of (sub par) treatment as I did, there might be serious consequences. When we arrived, they charged us for an office visit just to take his vitals....nothing else could be done because he wasn't fasting. We had to reschedule and pay for a second visit, something that could have been completely avoided if the receptionist had given basic instructions during scheduling. When his bloodwork results came in, nobody contacted us. We had to call the office ourselves only to be told his vitamin D was low and that a prescription would be sent to his pharmacy. Weeks went by and the pharmacy had no record of anything being called in--in fact, he didn't even have an account there because the office never sent the prescription in the first place. When I reached out to the doctor, she told us to "just buy it over the counter because most insurances don't cover it." Insurance was never the issue!!! We simply wanted the prescription that THEY told us they were sending. When I asked what dosage is needed to take and what exactly to buy OTC, I received no response at all. This office lacks communication, organization, and basic patient care. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values your time, money, and health.
