This Urgent Care was a life saver for us today. Our 6 month old grandson became increasingly sicker today as the day went on. When we saw him repeatedly pulling on his ears today, we knew we needed to bring him for urgent care. My daughter especially liked that she was able to make an appointment on line. She was pleased to be able to schedule the appointment for 2 hours later. This urgent care looked very clean and staff were professional. Medical Assistant Danielle was amazing and efficient. Our real hero, though, was NP Alisha. She was OUTSTANDING and quickly diagnosed Carter with a severe double ear infection. Alisha was everything a NP is supposed to be. this place stinks! The front desk staff don't wear badges, there are no peak flows completed, no one cleans the place. The front desk staff have badges that have all kinds of clinics. What are they doing? Collecting PII. They even took a photo copy of my DL and then "pretended to look me up in the system" I'm sorry...we can't find you. I was like...WTF...I have been here several times A-HOLE. Nice try though. Then I got a bill from simon med when my insurance covers everything. and the NP refused to send in a nebulizer to the pharmacy through my insurance. RED FLAG RED FLAG. Checked in ten minutes early for an appointment, just like they want. Thirty minutes later still waiting to be seen. Two other people in lobby with me. Why make an appointment if you still have to wait for more than a half hour. Very close to walking out. This place is ridiculous. I went in for a sore throat, had a fever for 2 days and body aches...got a "strep" test done that was negative, and was literally sent home. Didnt rule out covid, didnt rule out flu, or anything else. As soon as the test results were in, the NP had the discharge papers in hand and sent me on my way with a numbing agent for my throat. Didnt ask any further questions, and didnt assess me any further. I didnt feel comfortable with those results as i had a fever for almost 2 days, alongside with developing a rash on my feet and my hands. I went to Dignity Health Emergency Room and the ER DR immediately noticed my rash along with my past fever and symptoms and diagnosis was Hands Foot & Mouth Disease. Was immediately given a steroid for my throat, and a toradol pain shot for the discomfort. Obviously, there is no real medication for HFM, but this ER went to the fullest extent to make sure I felt somewhat better on the way out the door. Had i listened to Banner's "diagnosis" I wouldve still been home in pain, extremely miserable. As someone who gets frequently sick, its so disheartening to see how this facility didn't try to ask any more questions, or offered to be of any more help. read more

I took my son there for a sports injury. It took forever to be seen. To to it off they closed for the night and forgot we were still there. If it wasn't because my son needed to use the restroom and I stick my head out to ask where the restroom was they probably would have left us there. So the lights off were off already and the one staff in back including the practitioner already had their stuff in hand to leave. I've been here since 5pm. It's now 7:32. The wait here has never been this bad. It's clear they are understaffed as they have one medical Assistant calling people in and out. To have people wait this long is unacceptable. Maybe make it clear that you don't have enough support so people can go elsewhere. Horrible bedside manners by Doctor. She was extremely quick with me barely looked me over. Treated me like a number. She would not do any blood work like I needed. She said there was nothing she could do for me. She sent me home with a prescription for allergy meds and inhaler. Saying it's just allergies. I finally was able to get into my doctor and get the bloodwork I needed then turns out I have whooping cough and complications from it I also Got pneumonia. If anyone was there today, 11/16 and witnesses how I was treated in a review, Please Do. The receptionist is EXTREMELY RUDE. When I arrived I asked for the wait time, she said they do not give out wait times, I ACCEPTED THIS RESPONSE. I checked in, paid, completed the requested paperwork and had a seat. I sat for almost two hours when I witnessed the last two people come in be told be the RECEPTIONIST its an hour wait, so I decided to ask what my wait time is and explained you just told the last people that came in. She told me its on the monitor screen over there. I said okay and I walked to the screen and returned to her. I told her it doesn't provide a time it only states I'm #6. I asked her, "can you tell me how long?" and explained I just want to make sure I am not contagious and have to be at work at 1130AM. She asked me what do you have. . . kind of surprised by this question (HIPPA LAW) and told her I will discuss that with the doctor. She than said OUTLOUD I was being VERY RUDE and SHE doesn't even have to provide service to me. I disputed this and said I've been sitting in that corner over there not bothering you at all for almost 2 hours and you never told me about a monitor screen. She just kept saying you've been VERY RUDE SINCE YOU ARRIVED. This lady needs help. She is dealing with people who are not well. I noticed a mother and her young child leave the lobby because this receptionist was behaving very badly to me. I only hope they have cameras in the lobby and that her Manager Angela will be able to review the recording and take appropriate action. Perhaps call the people that were present in the lobby and the people that were being taken care of. This person must have a very bad life to treat people like this. The NP Lisa seems miserable and very unhappy in the work she does. She walks into a room with an irritated look and doesn't even introduce herself. I'm explaining my history and she cuts me off and then continues to make eye gestures which based off her response she is completely unaware of her body language. She then turns to me and says "you seem irritated" and I responded with "I'm the one that seems irritated ?!" Rude and careless. Update: The business department contacted me after I replied to their email. They said they would look into the situation and make it right. 3 months later, still nothing. This place and its Business/Billing department hands down would be doing the public justice by closing down. They don't provide the healthcare to the public, take money, and all without follow through. Rude girls at front desk. I have high blood pressure and wanted to see a doctor because I lost my pills. The clinic says they take walk in Veterans. The front desk girl #1 was acting like I was asking for illegal drugs and girl #2 was like "the doctor isn't going to give you anything, without me having an opportunity to even see the doctor. I left and went to a different urgent care which saw me and gave me a prescription for Hydralazine to help my blood pressure until I was able to see my primary care doctor. This happened around 4 weeks ago. It's unfortunate because this place is closest to me. My mother had cold and sinus symptoms and is fully vaccinated and called ahead to see how long the wait was and they told her not to come in if she has a cough. I told her to go to other urgent care and had a COVID-19 test which came back negative and was prescribed antibiotics for sinus infection. Get professional staff in the front and not people who dread coming to work, shame on those bimbos. read more

I always would go to urgent care, Banner urgent care and I always take my granddaughter if she hast to go. I took my granddaughter last week because she had a horrible, nasty rash and they said well. I need a note to show that you're her grandmother and I said well I don't have a note. Her mother is at work. I bring her here all the time, if she needs to see a doctor if she can't see her regular doctor and they kept saying you need a note but they refused to see my granddaughter to take care of her and she's only 11 years old and they would not see her unless I had a note my daughter and note that they were asking for one so they never got. I never got my daughter to see a doctor. This place is horrible and the girl that worked at the front office with reddish hair maybe 20 years old had no consideration for someone to see my granddaughter. read more

Banner notified us 628 days after my wife received services that our health insurance didn't pay. The problem is they submitted it to the wrong insurance company and never notified us. After we were notified, we contacted our insurance company and they said they wouldn't pay because too much time had elapsed. Rather than acknowledging their mistake, or responding to any of the four letters we sent them, Banner turned it over to a third party bill collector. Banner didn't act reasonably or professionally, and as a result of their mistakes and delays, our insurance won't pay the bill. Neither will we. Never going there again. read more

I understand that health care is a hard place to work right now, being that I'm an RN myself. But I went to this urgent care seeking relief from a possible sinus infection + cough. While the wait time is something out of the staff's control, their bedside manner is not. NP Melody Attipoe was short and made me feel insignificant. She asked the same questions repeatedly and even prescribed the exact OTC meds that I told her I was already taking- 3 times!!! I was there until closing and I could sense her urgency. First time I came, I had to wait a few minutes for the lady to come from the back. Completely empty in the lobby. Lady was rude as if I disrupted something. Guy nurse who came to get me was complaining he was tired & it had been a long day. Worked in retail for so many years, not normal to complain about being on your feet to someone who's sick. Got sent to ER, which was understandable. Second time I came in lobby was full, front desk was rude. Took an hour to get my insurance & ID back from her. Waited 2+ hours. Got sent back & the nurse was really nice & gave me my strep & COVID test. Provider came back in a rush, had to recheck my vitals. Discharged me with negative strep & as if nothing was wrong. Went to be seen Monday & it is Friday & no COVID results. Went to get checked at Dignity Health because my symptoms kept getting worse & I have a sinus infection. Got antibiotics, cough medicine, & nasal spray. Never going back to this urgent care. I don't get how you can be rude with people who are sick. I went here on Sunday before Labor Day for a ruptured ear drum. The front desk was extremely rude and the PA was very unfriendly. You could tell she drew the short straw. She didn't want to be there and it showed. I waited and when the PA came in, she looked in my ear, told me she couldn't see my ear drum, said she would write a Rx for antibiotic drops just in case and told me to go see my primary doctor. This took 25 seconds and then she walked out. I was put off by her demeanor and the amount of time she took. I just got the bill. I owe $92 (hadn't met my deductible yet) and they charged insurance $300. This is such a joke. $300 for 25sec service where she did nothing but write a Rx. I should've just used Teledoc to get an Rx then seen my doc later since that's what I did anyway. This is my second time at this location since it's covered by my insurance and this was by far my worst experience. read more

I walked into the urgent care to be seen for strep throat. The front desk lady said she would have to ask if I could be seen, odd but okay. The provider that I saw was incredibly rude and dismissive of my complaints. Not only that, I could hear her and the rest of the staff talking about me while waiting for her to come back into the room. Their conversations and remarks were absolutely uncalled for left me questioning the "care" that I received. A piece of advice for the staff, blatantly making fun of a patient is never okay. I didn't want to put any stars, but I had no choice. I've had a bad experience here myself, but this time it was for my boyfriend. He wasn't able to breathe. They basically told him he was wasting their time. After a few days, I ended up taking him to the hospital, where they said he was on the verge of a heart attack. Now, he has been having to do many procedures to get healthy again. I think that Urgent Care should've been able to detect Atrial Fibrillation. read more

Went in yesterday because my son and I have had the same symptoms for a week (congestion, fevers, and ear pain). They said he had a cold that needed to run it's course but would write a prescription for antibiotics because one of his ears looked red. When they got to me said it looked like I have strep, argued about why I should take a Covid test and ignored the fact I said I had a painful earache the day prior and couldn't hear out of it now. Strep came back negative so told me to take Mucinex... had a fever again in the evening and my ears have fluid coming out of them today and the ear pain is back. Although they initially said it would be a 2-hour wait, my wife was brought back within 30 minutes. Staff was very friendly and professional. It was explained that the illness was viral in nature and simply needed to run its course. They apologized about not being able to medicate a viral issue but did have several suggestions on how to treat some of the symptoms. They were thorough enough to explain why they dont prescribe antibiotics for viral issues, even though we already knew why. Some lady was in here screaming her head off about not getting antibiotics for her viral issue, which is probably why we received such an in-depth explanation. That lady proclaimed loudly that she was going to "destroy them" on yelp. Well, I hope this offsets that a bit. Look, it is urgent care. Sometimes you are going to have to wait a long time. Going for a sports physical? You might have to wait. If you dont want to risk a wait for something like a physical then make an appointment with your Primary Care doctor. People generally only leave reviews about healthcare when they are mad so the rating is pretty lopsided. Here is what you need to know: 1- It is URGENT CARE not a HOSPITAL. That means probably only one doctor or maybe even just one RN. 2- You are probably going to have to wait. Maybe for awhile. (See staffing from above). 3- They are very nice and professional. They do not have a magic wand to wave and cure the untreatable. 4- The facility is clean with no vomit upon chairs (as claimed in one review). 5- If they can fix you, they will. If they cant, they wont blow smoke up your ass and prescribe something just to shut you up. They are nice enough to explain everything and give treatment solutions for symptoms for things that they cant prescribe medication for. Hopefully you feel better soon! read more

I made an appointment online and was very pleased with the amount of time I had to wait even though they were very busy and only had one provider Michelle. She was very thorough and got me in and out as fast as she could. I highly recommend making an appointment online ahead of time so that your wait is not as long. read more

This is my normal go to for Urgent care for me and my family. The front desk person and the person taking my vitals were amazing today. Unfortunately, the PA Ronnie walked in and completely changed all of that. He treated me like I was intruding on his time and had no sympathy for what I was going through whatsoever! As of today I will never return to this urgent care again!! Dr Marie was way better and at least has sympathy for my husband when he went in!!
