Karen was kind and gentle in trying to support my son, who often didn't do his exercise homework. We think his shoulder is at least somewhat better and has returned to his sport. PT Now has been amazing for our family. Chris and Karen have have been so caring and helpful. Karen rehabilitated my 82 year old mother for six months after a shoulder replacement surgery. This is an excellent small clinic. You can usually schedule sessions with the same therapist, and it's never crowded or noisy. I worked with Karen twice: once for a battered shoulder and later recovering from knee replacement surgery. Therapy was entirely successful in both cases. I found this place mainly by location-it is convinient for me. I am very satisfied with the treatment that i got. I came with one specific issue, expected to have few visits to address only this problem (the way I had in another PT office). The result- not only that my shoulder issue was treated/cured. Chris recommended other exercises to address other medical problems that I have. She did it very gently and it helped me to take it very seriously. I am so glad our pediatrician recommended Chris, she is absolutely amazing. We were told our baby had torticollis at the 3 month check up, this issue is quite common and resolved with PT support (tight neck muscles). We called around to PT specialists who saw babies, and so many other locations were putting us on a 6+ month waitlist and by then our baby would be twice as old, this issue couldn't wait. I called Chris, and she listened to my concerns on the phone and squeezed us in immediately. She put me at ease, mom guilt is real, and helped educate me on how this happens and what stretches I can continue to do at home to help support the care. Our baby loves her, he flies into her arms when he sees her. I am so thankful for Chris--for listening and taking us in when no one else was, for educating us and normalizing it, and for taking such good care of our baby that he didn't want to even leave! Chris is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough! She really cares about her patients and takes the time to create great exercises specially catered to fit your needs. She's adjusted my movements several times and each time it's made a huge difference (the right muscles began activating). Furthermore, she is extremely knowledgeable and can explain why you might be experiencing certain pain and what you can do to mitigate it and eventually reduce it (if you are diligent about your at-home workouts). Speaking of at home exercises, I really appreciate how patient Chris is, she nudges me to do home workouts but never makes me feel guilty if I didn't do them (I feel guilt because she is so nice and I don't want to disappoint her). I had started seeing Chris last year for my knee (pain from cartilage damage on my ACL repaired knee) and earlier this year (before Covid) for a fractured shoulder. I even did a virtual session during shelter-in-place and Chris was outstanding, correcting my form over video and instructing me to try a new routine, friendly to do at home without any gear. Lisa, the office manager, is great too. I loved coming in because both Lisa and Chris always made me feel so welcomed. The space itself in Mountain View is great, super spacious, never crowded (Chris does a great job spacing out her patients and giving her full attention to you), great equipment, parking right in front of the door. No regrets, other than I wish I had come across Chris earlier, during my first injury. read more

I have been seeing Chris at NOW for a few months about a back injury and she has been great at taking the time to really understand the nature of the injury and then tailoring a physical therapy program to treat it. Initially I could do very little so she just focused on stretching. massage and some light exercises to treat the injury. But now as the injury has started to heal, she is ramping up exercises and focusing on key muscle groups that have been affected by the injury.
