STAY AWAY!!! Worse place EVER!! If i could have left a negative 0, I would have! After reading the reviews of how unprofessional they were, I decided stupidly to still give them a chance, and that was a big mistake! I called to make an appointment, for two couples massage. They said yes, come, in a half hour, we showed up and they only had one room for a couples massage so my husband and I had to be separated, which was fine but then, I had to wait over 30 minutes in my room for a massage. I finally got up and said, I'm out of here but prior to that she made me pay for the 4 massages. I was waiting for my husband and the other couple to come out. she begged me to stay and said she would give me a 30 minute massage free and she said she would give my husband a extra 30 minute massage free, I said noooo thank you, we have a dinner reservation and needed to leave. My husband still came out 30 minutes later, needless to say SHE LIED!!as we were walking out and getting in my car and I said "she gave you 30 minutes free", he said "no she started 30 minutes late". I said what the heck!! she lied.!!!! She literally told me she gave you 30 minutes free. After I told her we needed to go because we had dinner reservations. Obviously she didn't care. I just couldn't believe. Oh yes and other couple left without giving them a tip because they told me she kept talking and coming in and out and it was very uncomfortable and they didn't even feel relaxed. When my husband and I were leaving they said the couple left without leaving a tip, they seemed desperate so I foolishly left a tip for the other couple which, I totally regret leaving that, she had to give me my money back in cash, because she had no idea how to credit my visa... Such a ridiculous place, definitely will never come back, and I suggest no one else try this place, very bad business. Every time you walk in the bell rings from the door and disturbs people trying to get a massage in the back, it just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing it's ridiculous. This is the WORST, illegitimate massage place in the entire county of San Diego. Absolute trash. I have never left a bad review on yelp but this place needs to be shut down. I was walking over to Cafe Bassam a few doors down and figured I'd check this place out. I went in and asked how much the massages were (had some back pain) and the lady that walked out immediately gave me sketch vibes. She was wearing a questionable dress with no bra and there was a door blocking the massage rooms which was an immediate red flag but I was like whatever I'll just do it's only $60 for an hour it can't be that bad. I had an appointment for 7:30 and I showed up and she immediately made me pay. That was red flag number 2. Then when I walked into the room I saw another worker with another revealing dress that gave me the same vibe. The masseuse said "take everything off and I'll be back". The room was purely disgusting. The sheets were dirty and the towel she handed me literally had black spots on it. I was about to walk out then remembered she made me pay before hand So I decided to stay. I obviously left my boxers on but I was so sketched out putting my body in the disgusting sheets . I proceeded to wait FOR 30 MINUTES. Not 5, not 10, 30 MINUTES on the table. UNATTENDED. Then I realized what was going on. All the voices I heard in there were old men that were ugly AF. They all sounded "happy". And then I literally heard the room next to me JERKING off the man in there. AND HE TOLD HER TO GO INTO THE SHOWER WITH HIM AND SHE SAID YES. I said fuck it this is ridiculous. I put my clothes on and was walking out then the worker heard me and walked in. She was like "no no sorry sorry I'll give you really good massage" I said no I want a refund. She said "no no I give you 30 minutes extra for free" and I literally had to walk past her because she wanted to block me in. I raised my voice and demanded a refund and the other masseuse came. I let them know how unprofessional it is to leave someone eating unattended for 30 minutes. Mind you they walked into my room several time to grab towels and oil while I was in there and they didn't even acknowledge me. Then the worker told me "call your card company and cancel the payment I don't know how to do a refund" this pissed me off so much especially since I knew it was nothing but a sex worker hub. So I said I wasn't leaving until I got my refund and I wanted cash. The lady proceeded to FaceTime the "owner" who she kept on calling "baby and daddy" who was also an old ugly man in his 50's that clearly is exploiting these women. And he didn't even know how to tell her to refund me. Mind you I can clearly tell English wasn't her first language so I was trying to be polite but she proceeded to act like the victim and refused to give me a refund calling me dumb and yelled at me. I told her to give me cash or I'm calling the cops and the other sketchy masseuse gave me cash at the very last minute. This place is absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe it's actually a business. I'm calling the police to file a report for sex work and also theft since they technically only gave me $60 back when the fee was $62. Do not go here. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Have been wanting to try this place but they need to get more organized with scheduling and communication between the owner/employees. Called their number on a Saturday morning to see if they had any openings and she told me I could head in right then. I said I would be there in 10 minutes. When I got there 10 mins later, there was one masseuse who was apparently not who I talked to on the phone and she came out and said she had a customer for the next hour and there was nobody else there nor anybody else coming in. I asked her when her next available appointment was and she said in an hour. I asked for the appointment and she said yes but that if there were any walk-ins waiting that they give walk ins priority over appointments....what's the point of setting an appointment then if I can show up then be told I have to wait another hour or two? This place is great and the location is easy to get to from downtown. Although parking is less than desirable, that is true of all businesses on Hillcrest. They were able to fit me in for an evening appointment on the same day, which is fantastic as my back really needed it. My massage was thorough and included a free hot-stone massage! Just got done with a 90 minute session with Jennifer and I feel great. Can honestly say that Jennifer is a gift to bankers hill. Very good strong deep tissue, and good Swedish. This is the worst establishment I've ever been in. I was in the area and figured I would stop in for a 30 min massage, big mistake. She confirmed I could do a 30 minute massage, brought me to the room and closed the door. As I was getting undressed, she busted in the room without a knock. I asked if I should undress, she said yes. Once I took off my pants and bra, she busted in again unannounced insisting that I pay now. What? Why wouldn't you say that when I came in, or the first time you charged into the room unannounced while I was still clothed. I was clearly uncomfortable trying to hide my body and she stares at me demanding to pay. I asked for some privacy while I get dressed. She left and came back while I was still trying to get dressed, once again insisting I pay. I told her I will be leaving and not getting a massage. She yelled saying I wanted a massage and now I don't. Of course I don't want a massage after you violated my personal space, you sicko. Walked in there today and when I had driven by it over the weeks I thought it just looks like another Asian prostitution house there are so many of those in San Diego, I went in and asked a few questions they only like male clients that is a sign that they're not a legal business, they have no signage inside, I spoke to a asian girl there, she didnot seem to know what they offered there. BEWARE!!! They LIE ABOUT THE COST. I had called in to request for a quote. They quoted me $50 for 40 minutes on the body and 30 minutes on the feet -- the same on their add. When I arrived the woman there said No and told me 60 minutes only body and demand did mandatory tip for $20 for a total of $100. We were also hassled afterwards for not tipping more than 20%...which after the fact I know why they expected more. Eden Therapy is amazing, I've been getting massages every two weeks for forever. I have had both of my hips replaced and it takes someone that knows the body! Coco is new and amazing, she understood that my hips were new and that I lift weights every day and gave me a very therapeutic and and deep tissue massage. She knew all the pressure points and how to spread my muscles and get me feeling great! If your smart you should give them at least one opportunity. If your in pain, stressed or have tight muscles then this is the place for you. They only charge 50 dollars an hour!
