I invited a good friend who lives locally and enjoys the town's events, tonight I discovered why. Tickets were affordable at $7 with tax. Several poets and music artists came out to showcase their talents and it was well enjoyed. The popular triangle R&B band NIITO performed live and really tore the house down with their cover songs. This event was well organized and seating was plentiful. We grabbed balcony seats and really enjoyed having our own space away from the crowd. While parking is not plentiful, there are still a few lots and street parking to take advantage of. Come early, leave happy. I look forward to more events and possibly seeing a film here in the future.

There were several very sweet older ladies (likely volunteers) that I talked to about the theater and its history. The theater itself was the original in Cary and had been renovated a couple of times over the years. They have one screen that showed mostly art type films and have some live performances. I would go here if I was living here since it was a type of place that appeals to me. If you live there and haven't been I would recommend, if visiting and staying check it out.

The chairs recline and you can put your feet up. I love that there's so much space between the rows so no one can kick your back. A couple issues I noticed: *The audio quality was terrible in my particular theater; the movie sounded like it was playing on an old boombox from the 80s. *The check in process is very confusing! I bought my ticket online before I left home. I walked in to the theater without anyone even stopping to ask me if I'd purchased a ticket. I figured there'd be a person waiting somewhere to scan my phone. *No one ever came by to close the side doors when the movie started. After half an hour of hearing people walk by, I got up and closed the doors. Not a big deal, I'm just used to other theaters always having someone close the door once the trailers are done playing and I wasn't sure if they were supposed to stay open for some reason. Besides that, I'll definitely be back!

The love seats provide enough privacy where you're not elbow to elbow to other people so it was especially enjoyable for me, a person who does not like going to regular theatres because of that. For food, I highly recommend the nachos! The portions are amazing.

I usually don't write reviews, especially negative ones, but I couldn't let this experience slide…read more We enrolled our 7-year-old son in TAP's beginner summer acting camp for just one week. He enjoys performing in school plays, and we wanted him to experience formal theater training in a fun and supportive environment. I understand that not every child can be given a major role, so I had no issue with the small part he was assigned. What surprised me was the repeated feedback we received about him "wiggling," asking questions, and talking during rehearsals. When I met with Ms. Melissa, these behaviors were described as disruptive. He's seven years old. If a 7-year-old moving around, asking questions, and occasionally getting distracted is considered disruptive, then I question whether this program is equipped to work with young children. A beginner camp should be teaching kids, not expecting them to behave like seasoned performers. The most disappointing part was being told that our son could not participate in the final performance because he was "struggling." Rather than helping him succeed, they excluded him from the very experience he signed up for. Based on our experience, TAP seems better suited for children who already fit their definition of "well-behaved" than for energetic, curious kids who need guidance and encouragement. Parents should keep that in mind before enrolling.

The main building houses Invisalign Arena that has the nice practice ice rinks facility for the Carolina Hurricanes including its own cafe. Very nice sports center! The Deets: I was made aware through Yelp actually that there was a practice arena for the Carolina Hurricanes in our lil ol' town of Morrisville (complete with its own cafe, another review to come) so I ventured out to see it. The Wake Competition Center is a big sports campus including the Invisalign Arena that houses the ice rinks and cafe, as well as other centers for gymnastics and volleyball that I saw and large fields for outside sports (see their webpage for details on all aspects of this multi-sport complex). Those outside sports fields were packed with people when I went in, as it is mid soccer season. The sports fields were very well kept from what I saw, very nice. I ventured inside Invisalign Arena and saw the ice rinks (one Red and one Black, for the Hurricane team colors). There was a bit of rink action going on while I was there, and not only can you sit in the stands to watch but also there are seats with tables lining the rink like a work area (see pic). This place is a pretty impressive ice sports rink facility and the arena was as packed inside here as the outside fields were, this is a bustling place! There appears to be ample parking but again it was near capacity when I visited on the weekend. I think this sports complex is pretty nice and has a lot to offer for an active sports area like the NC Triangle, I dig it!
