My first experience of going to Nadia was 10/10/2019. I work on Mag Mile and was in dire need of a eyebrow/ lip thread. Looking on Yelp, this was the best option in the neighborhood and it was a 5 minute walk. When I got there, Nadia was ready and prepared. She talked to me and listened to what I want. She threads slowly, which can be a bit more painful but it's only because she wants to be precise with her cut. I asked for a slight arch, nothing too bold. Nadia definitely delivered. She also has 1) affordable pricing and 2) eyebrow tinting. I have recently gone back and she did an amazing job. Mind you, I had not been back in over a month. When I moved to Chicago earlier this year, I was frustrated because it seemed like the only option I had for maintaining my eyebrows was to get them waxed for no less than $20. I prefer threading, and I was used to paying less than $15. I was thrilled to find NSA Eyebrows on Fleek! I love that I can communicate via text to set up an appointment. There's no need to create an online account or call. She only works on weekdays, but that hasn't been a problem for me because she works pretty late. She's friendly and quick, and I've been happy with the way my eyebrows have turned out each time. Especially for this area, this service is such a steal! Nadia is incredible at eyebrow threading! I'm very picky, but she has a great vision and is incredibly attentive to detail while threading brows. She is quick but thorough and I'm always pleased with the results. She also threads using a technique around her neck so is extra safe with COVID precautions. I went to Nadia twice - the first time she did a decent enough job for me to come back a second time. The second time I told her specifically not to make my eyebrows thin and just clean them up. She made them So thin and the shape wasn't even good. When I confronted her about it, she tried to act like my eyebrows were already that thin as if I didn't know what my eyebrows looked like when I came in and then I showed her a picture I had taken 30 min before coming in and she said I must have penciled them in - i asked her how come when I arrived I had no pencil on them. I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT! Everyone makes mistakes, all she had to do was admit it instead of trying to justify what she did with stupid arguments. She is fast, and you will get in and get out in 10 minutes max. Booking appointments is very easy - I usually text her a day in advance or on the same day and she responds with her availability. She did a great job on my brow clean-up; I'm normally SUPER sensitive, but she was one of the best threaders I've ever had and it was a breeze compared to normal! No tears shed! Based on the great brow experience, I decided to try the full face threading, which I've never done before. That was so quick and easy, and now I have a completely smooth and clean face and neck.
