Fast, exceptional prices, very polite and did beautiful job on my nails. The salon is very clean, tidy, dazzling decor and really organized. Chairs for customers getting nails done are comfortable. The chairs for pedicures are comfortable massage chairs. For pedicures they have a timer of 10 minutes for massaging the feet. I been to 2 other salons in town and was not satisfied with the work and how the customers were treated. I will be returning to this salon from now on. read more

I went in after I phoned to see if they were able to do sipping powder on my nails. They said yes. Well they absolutely RUINED MY FINGERNAILS!! They are bruised and damaged. It's been over a week and I can barely use my hands they hurt so much. They clearly didn't have a clue what they are doing and just caused me so much pain and anguish. I had to see a doctor to see if I have a fungus. My nails are bruised down to the bare skin. I have a friend who also does nails and she was appalled and could not safely use the dipping powder and is trying to help me get my hands somewhat more normal. I am filing a formal complaint. I came here Easter weekend & my first impression: the place looks nice & clean. A Latina female did my pedi & right away I could tell she did not enjoy her job. She was making rude remarks about the other employees & just seemed overall upset she was working there. Anyways about the pedi: I have ingrown toe nails on both my big toes (every salon I've ever been to has never had a problem cutting them out) however this young lady was very rough in doing so. She yanked my nail out & ended up cutting my toe. It hurt so bad & my toe was bleeding a lot. As she continued, the paint job was mediocre, I had to fix it once she finished. The aftermath: my toe hurt so bad I took medication to numb the pain. My experience there was literally the worst. I advise people to not come here. read more

Came on a Sunday around 11pm. Not so busy, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what service I wanted, I let them know I wanted nails, regular set which were priced at 24, I was told to it would be a few mins wait, sat down and within 3 mins I was called. Nail technician asked if I wanted coffin nails and I said yes, let's try them out and if I wanted color, to which I also said yes. I was in and out in 30 mins. Nails came out looking amazing. I have to get used to them since I never had them done before. Only reason why I didn't give them a full 5 stars was that the nail technician never told me that getting coffin nails and color would be extra. Total came out to 37. I just moved to Porterville and there are limited amounts of nail salons to choose from. I read the reviews on here which had bad ratings, but decided to give them a try. I called them for their hours today (Saturday), the lady said said they close at 8pm and they don't make appointments "first come, first serve" I come in around 7:10pm for a gel mani and regular pedi. The place is clean and spacious. Everything was going well until 7:30pm when the lady seem rushed because she had plans after work, then became rude when the nail polish on my toes messed up while she tried to put on the paper sandals. Then threw the other sandal and paper towel she had in her hand in the washing bowl. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! The price they have on display said pedi $23 and gel polish on the hands $15. But total came out to $55 she said pedi is $23 and gel is $32 (my real nails, no acrylic added) because it included a manicure. Which does not make any sense to me at all since I've been to many nail salons and their price on display already includes the paint and manicure. She just had an attitude most of the time, and then has the nerve to tell me to come early next time because everyone wants to go home and don't want to stay late to finish. Well next time I won't even bother to give them my business. For the bad customer service and false advertisement on price, which makes this place very pricey! FYI: I lived in the Bay Area and I never paid this much for the services I received today. I do not recommend this place and will not be giving them my business again. Stay away. Save your money and go somewhere else! See my photo. Crappy nail job and even crappier service. The nail shape was bad, the paint job was bad, my pedi paint job was bad... unfortunately I didn't notice how bad my pedi paint job was until later because of how bad my hands were. The tech was super rough with my nails and over-drilled them. The day after, my nails were so sore and traumatized! I told them the paint job was bad, and they tried to say it was because I got regular polish, as if they were not skilled enough to do a regular polish anymore and could only do gel. Seriously?! Then to fix it, they wanted to add another coat of polish, which would've been 5 layers of polish and would've looked like a blob of thick polish. I wasn't having that, so they agreed to take off $5.... $5 only because their tech took time to do my nails. Funny! The gentleman that did my pedicure looked at my feet about 1/4 of the time, mostly just when painting my toe nails. He was literally staring at these other ladies while buffing my skin instead of my toe nails. I finally just pulled my feet away to force him to look down. He just did it again. He turned the water on super hot, felt it, then rinsed my leg. When I told him it was really hot, he just turned it to straight cold. Same thing for when he filled the water basin. He never talked to me, just tapped my foot or leg and pointed. I assumed he couldn't speak English. Then at the end when he tried to put shoes on my feet immediately after painting my toes and I requested that he wait, he then spoke perfect English to me. Not a good experience. The appearance on the inside is nice. I've always enjoyed the work I've had done at NT nails except for today. The guy that did my nails is named David. I have not seen him there before, perhaps he is new. He was not gentle on my nails at all. Three of my fingers bled near the cuticle area on my left hand and 2 fingers on my right hand. My nails look ok, but my cuticles are on fire!!! Every time he would take the nail file to my fingers he was rubbing more on the skin than the finger nail. Sever times I had to say "ouch" and pull my hand back. IF I ever come back again, I will refuse to see that guy. I've gotten countless pedicures in my lifetime however I'm writing this review as I'm getting service because it is just that terrible. I came in and asked for TWO deluxe gel (1 is $60) pedicures because I brought my sister in law. the person doing my nails rushed through it, didn't scrub my heels, didn't bother to use the cuticle cutter (I had to ask him) I also had to ask him to get my hang nail because he didn't bother to take enough time on my feet to notice they needed such. the "hot towels" were not hot, they cooled down 2 min after he wrapped them around my legs. The last time I went, I was so disappointed that I am going to check out other salons. The owner that is all about customer service was not there when I came in.
