*From a few months ago* Want to brushed off and be felt like you're a burden to someone's existence? Then look no further than, NTB in SACHSE!!! Here you'll find effective tactics, such as, witnessing the parking lot being empty! Every single employee, INCLUDING MANAGEMENT, hanging around one mechanic's box, LITERALLY playing video games. Only one manager in the lobby, Milton or Marvin, couldn't tell, he spoke fast and sort of mumbled. Anyways, he took my info really quickly and assured me he could get me in and out. It was only an oil change, btw.. he took the paperwork to the back, and returned shortly thereafter. He and I were making short talk for about, 15 minutes when another, "manager" Carlos, came up and informed the manager I was speaking with that the "store closed in an hour" and "we're already 30 minutes behind" (Again... THE LOT AND GARAGE WERE EMPTY!!) the other guy immediately got irritated and embarrassed simultaneously and tried to plead for me. Only to receive a, "hey man, it's your shop, you should know what's going on. Why am I telling you. Then he turned and walked back out. And I kid you not. Laughter BOOOMED from the back a few minutes later. Red faced and defeated, the tech sincerely apologized and recommended the other NTB Dow the road where, and I quote, "I can vouch for the techs there." Returned my keys and I left. TL:DR; I went back to the sachse store a few weeks later and the taller guy was gone, figured he either left, or was fired. And I ran into a similar situation as the one described above. So I just bolted immediately. Drove down to Wylie NTB and you'd never guess it.... HE'S BEEN DEMOTED AND WAS SENT BACK TO HIS OG STORE. Said he kind of crashed out due to stress from work and groceries list of family issues... BTW... WADDUP, MELVIN!!! Him and I chatted while my car was being worked on, and I asked if he'd care if I left this for you, his exact response was "honestly bro, I'd prefer you didn't, but it's something you're clearly still experiencing there, so it makes sense. A guy named Carlos comes out and is just absolutely lazy and dishonest. Says my tires are cracked and can't be fixed because liability issues. I made an appointment to rotate my girlfriend's tires here the day before, so I would be able to go with her and get out at an appropriate time. The young man at the front desk looked annoyed when he saw we were going to come just to rotate. He went outside to look at her tires with her while I stayed inside. Came back he said rotating tires is actually useless and they were too worn to be rotated anyways so we needed to buy new tires. It's a 2022 Lexus new from the dealership with only 12,000 miles on it. Sure buddy, we'll just go to Discount Tires across the street from now on.. read more

Came here for an oil change after hearing about an ad online. Upon arriving they automatically tried to up-sale me saying my vehicle required the above and beyond oil change, not the one the deal was offering. I've had a many with this vehicle and knew exactly what was going on, but due to the fact I had my daughter who was ready for nap time and needed to get it done we went along with it. This was a mistake. I ended up sitting with an exhausted toddler in the lobby for almost 3 hours for something that should have taKen 30 min tops. When I brought this to the managers attention she laughed and said "yeah when they get to talking back there they can get pretty distracted." She then went to go check on the situation came back and assured me that we would be out very quickly she then went above and beyond after she saw how irritated I was, and offered us a free oil change which she wrote down on a card. I was really appreciative of this only until my card and wallet got stolen a few months later. It would've been better if this was in the system along with the up charge amount of repairs that they tried to sell me on before leaving. I returned a few months after this, again out of necessity, because discount tires (my go to was closed). Arrived hours before they were to close to a Robert and George, who seemed really sweet. Came for an air pressure check because the weather was cold and again as a single mother this is important for safety. I had them check one tire, only for me to leave with my sensor still on. When I brought it to their attention he said oh drive a few miles and it will go away but I knew that he was lying as he went back to his conversation with the fellow workers. Now a week later I went back to my go to (discount tires) and they confirmed that yes my tire pressure was never changed and the sensor automatically change once they finally did so. It started with my wife's car in for an oil change- They forgot to replaces the 'o' ring (Toyota) Leaked all over the drive way and garage floor. Now after a flat, they want to replace the damaged tire with another brand (we bought the set of 4 Coopers). Now am I off base to want a replacement matching what we have?? Don't think so. I went to the NTB store in Wylie that usually services my corporate car to have a leaking tire checked. They had one technician working at 17:10 on a Tuesday. The wait was over 90 minutes. They sent me 15 minutes up the road to the Sachse store; They too had one technician working. The wait was at least 60 minutes and that store could have cared less. The NTB stores have 5-8 bays and one person working. What a waste of time and a waste of assests. Not to mention they lost a I went to discount tire in Murphy. They have six bays and eight people working. I will no longer ha e my personal or corporate vehicles serviced at NTB. I was in and out of Discount Tire in 30 minutes - new tire, mounted and balanced. read more

I got an appointment to replace 4 tires at 2 PM. Drop my car at 1:30 PM. Came back at 3:30 PM. They haven't touch my car yet. Sit in the waiting room until 4:20 PM. Still have not do anything to my car. They're closing at 6PM. What's a terrible services. I always took my car here for tires. Never again. Go down a block to Discount Tires. I usually go to Discount Tire when I have a nail in the tire, but they were particularly busy (3 hour wait), so I went down the street to NTB (I had an appointment I couldn't miss). Before charging me $31 to PATCH a tire, the manager (I'm assuming) had the audacity to turn on the pressure tactics to sell me new tires (which I admittedly need) and a new battery. I explained I was in a hurry, and he kept pushing. I finally got out of there, and a day later I noticed the deep scratches on my alloy wheel. I've never experienced these problems with Discount Tire. Additionally, Discount Tire will fix your flat for free, because they know it's just good business. I don't know if other NTB locations do business like this, but I'll never go back. And considering their prices on tires, I have no clue why people go to NTB in the first place. read more

The last oil change I had was a complete nightmare with oil leaking all over my garage and having to go back to get it fixed only to find out whoever did it cross-threaded something. So when my oil pressure light started to go off, I got a little freaked out. I took my car in and they were able to look at it, diagnose the problem, and have my car back in my hands same-day. After sitting over an hour, the manager made up bullshit about "an appointment is just for the next available" What the hell is the point then? You get next available by walking in off the street. While I was there, a gentleman returned with tires that he had been charged mounting, stems etc. They were neither Ballenger nor had new stems. He was ripped off. The manager had to give him a refund. I would gave left at that point, but mine was already in the air. I called just before noon to ask if they had availability to balance 2 tires on my corvette and the gentlemen, Adam, was extremely nice and said sure we could get you taken care of with no issue. I arrive and the gentlemen at the counter, Cody, asked how he could help. I told him I called to confirm their availability on balancing my 2 front tires and pointed to my corvette parked out front. His response was that he would have to refer me to the dealer and I thought he was kidding so I laughed and asked if he was being serious. He responded and said he was serious, that he knows he won't be able to alleviate my problem (never told him the actual issue), that he knows how the owners of this car can be and that he knows he won't be able to satisfy me. Without any level of inquiry on the reasoning for me wanting to get my 2 front tires balanced, he was adamant. As a business owner, this was truly appalling & I recommend you go to any other NTB than this one. Mike took great care of us with both our cars. Had to get an oil change in both and have the tires checked. When they noticed there was no record of a couple of routine maintenance procedures on one of the vehicles, he called and asked if we wanted it done and gave a quote. I said sure and the car was really within an hour or so. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars has to do with the tire sensor in one of our vehicles we had services. They said there wasn't a way to keep it from causing the dashboard alert from constantly blinking. I am sure there must be a way to fix or replace it, but they either weren't sure about doing it or maybe didn't know how. I guess we will need to take it to a dealership shop to see if they can fix it. read more

In august last year they did a repair on the AC hose and some other fitting. Well the car doesn't get driven a lot in winter let alone run the AC. In February I noticed the AC is dead again. My work was really busy and a relocation and travel so I was not able to drop the car off for service. Two week ago I dropped the car off to have them look into the issue. They can find any leaks and charge me to evacuate and recharge another 200 or so but they put some die in to help determine where the leak is. Bring it back in over the weekend. Now they want 1400 to replace the evaporator and the compressor and evacuate the recharge the system again. So after 13 years of the owning the car with AC system working fine. I was really impressed by DeAndre? the asst manager who got me in for a car checkup. I thought my battery terminal needed to be replaced but the tech realized my battery was damaged. I had acid burning the terminal and had been going through this for several months. I kept cleaning it and it kept returning. Instead of trying to upsell me they were honest and said if my battery was under warranty I could probably get it replaced where I had purchased it. I appreciate the honest evaluation and the support of the employees at this NTB. I will definitely be a return customer. read more

I have been here several times for an oil change and I can say that the service has not been consistent. I would have an ok experience one day and a not very good experience the next day. The last trip I made the worker that did my oil change didn't reset my maintenence light or put a new sticker on my windshield for when my next service was due. They obviously were rushing my oil change even though I waited for over an hour to get it done. I found out that kwik trip down the street is Cheaper to do an oil change so I will prob go there from now on. read more

I saw the ad for a $19.99 oil change on TV and realized I should go ahead and get one. I call them to confirm and they tell me that since my car is a older model (2012) with high mileage (40,000) that it would be $75.00. I assume that with my young voice as well as me obviously being a women, they thought they could get one over me. I went to a oil change place in rowlett who did my oil change for $25 in 10 minutes. Went in for an oil change and they suggested that I get a new engine and cabin air filters. The quote they gave me for both was $66.51. I went down the street to an auto parts store and bought both air filters for less than half that cost. Maybe its because I am a woman and they just assumed I was uninformed, but I was disappointed with that much mark up. Never buy these items at a service center if you can avoid it! read more
