Hi I went in there and bought 1000 worth of tires ( 4 ) installed and balanced I was in a hurry to get back to work so ,l had to leave. I went back 2 days later to pick up my old tires and to tell them that the new tires were not properly balanced They were bouncing and shimmying at hwy speeds They basically told me that it was how those tires were, ( not true) and wouldnt even check them Last time ill ever go there . Good place for flat repairs if you have a regular car or see cars as just something that gets you from point A to B. I.E - you don't care as long as it rolls. If you have a nicer car or wheels, I would not recommend. Bought new nice wheels that was scratched/nicked while tires were installed. Young guys working the tires that know what to do, just don't really pay attention/treat your nice things nicely. Tip: if you bought nice valve caps and want to keep them, take it off before they work on it. In response to the owner, I first mentioned the fact that the correct valve caps that I bought, checked and specifically pointed out before the work - was not replaced back on the tire, staff shuffled some things around then shrugged their shoulders. That did not give me confidence that they would care that they ruined my rims either. read more

So disappointed and EXTREMELY MAD!!! 12 days ago I bought a pair of tires and today in the pouring rain I had to change this tire. When I called Payless and asked to speak with management, I explained the situation and that I have been a customer for over 20 years. I was expecting some type of sincerity to begin with but I was also expecting them to make an effort to RIGHT this WRONG. Instead, the first guy that I talked to said "well bring it back in and we will see if we can figure out what happened" and the second guy that I talked to said that he would take care of this tire. NO SHIT, that's the LEAST you could do. I was not offered any type of credit or refund but instead just told they would take care of this tire. A tire that I bought 12 days ago to prevent something like today from happening... I most definitely wanted to change a tire in the pouring rain. NOT!!! As you know, this guy loves to get a bargain. This is my tire destination. I love to live dangerously so I almost always buy used tires-and this is the best place around to do so. The prices are low and the quality is generally much better than some other used tire shops. They also try to take care of you customer services wise-especially if they know you are a frequent visitor. They often offer to rotate the tires when I go in just to have one replaced and have often thrown in the balancing for free. They are there rain or shine(a fact I have been very happy about on a couple of occasions) and unless it is a Sat(when they get hella swamped) they can usually get you in and out very quickly. You can also buy new tires here-if you're not feeling daring! read more

In and out pretty quick, though I'd prefer they used a torque wrench instead of air tools when putting my wheels back on. Got out for $46 total with 2 Michelin's with decent tread, mounted. Guy putting them on insisted they didn't need balancing, I was doubtful, but they do indeed ride very smooth. These tires were over $100/each new, and I'd say they have about 50% tread remaining, if not more. They also didn't charge a penny to rotate the other tires while I was there. read more

Couldn't be happier with my experience here. Rolled in around 8:10 for 4 used tires, and rolled out before 8:30. Ride is quieter, smoother, and all my tries match now. The staff was polite to me, not super-friendly, but there was a sense of camaraderie between the employees. You get the sense that these guys like their job. Don't take the "not super-friendly" comment wrong, either, because no one was rude; they were all professional in their demeanor. The price quoted to me via phone for new tires definitely beat out any of the big-name dealers, it was just more than I could part with at this time, so ~$140 for 4 decent used tires was a great deal in my book. And it sure beat sitting at a big name dealer for an hour or more! read more

This tire shop has been at this location as long as I can remember. My dad used to get his "new" tires here when I was growing up, and so it has become tradition for my husband and myself, as well. The only time we use other tire places is when they're closed. Every visit brings several nice men out to offer assistance. I have become partial to one in particular, who has been there since I was a kid. He treats me like family and makes sure everyone else does too. They will sell you a new tire if you want them to, but one time when I said I wanted a new tire (not realizing my father always bought used,they were always new looking), Larry, my fave, brought a new tire and an old tire out and asked me which one I wanted. I could not tell the difference until he turned the tire around and I saw the cardboard hanger that was attached the new tire, giving many of the details I was just given about both tires. The main difference, the one was a retread, and the other was new. I had to take my car in for a nail in the tire not too long ago, and Larry was off that day, but happened to be there picking up his check. The guy that was helping me told him I was there. He came out and hugged me and told the other two guys working on the tire to be sure to check and rotate ALL the tires. This is the type of service that I usually get , and I have seen this grade of service from for all of their customers.
