I purchased a battery here and left the old battery core. I carried the new battery to my car and drove home to install it in my truck. I received an email asking for me to review my experience and in reviewing the invoice I found I had been charged $12.00 for shop supplies. I noted in my survey comments that I felt that was improper for an over the counter transaction. The next day I received a phone call from them telling me that the charge was entered by mistake and for me to come to the shop for a refund. I was unable to go there until the next day but the representative said he would brief his manager and the manager would handle the refund. I drove there this morning with my receipt and was rudely told that every purchase includes a shop charge and there would be no refund. I strongly recommend that this business be avoided at all costs. read more

Visited store on 2920 this morning. I was there a few minutes before 8. The mature gentleman by the name of Stokley, was setting up but smiled at me and waved me in. He immediately began to take care of my vehicles tire issue. The shop manager was also there and very attentive. Stokley made sure the nail in my tire was taken care of and I was on my way. I purchased a $260 battery 9 months ago for way to much. I returned yesterday and the battery was replaced for $165. So I'm disgusted with a $400 battery for my 2009 Buick Enclave. Ok so let me start with I'm not the type to leave low stars unless it's really warranted, you can check my Yelp profile! I called and asked if they could replace 2 tires for me today and I named the tires I was looking for and they said yes. I get here and he says the tires that they say they have online ($143 per tire) they actually don't have. The cheapest ones they have is $205 per tire, but for $234 per tire I could do the buy 2 get 2 free. I told the guy I was going to go to another NTB because they had them in stock and he said well you know we close at 5 and I said I know I have one by my house. I get in the truck and while I'm looking up the other NTB to call he comes out and says is it the one on 45 I said yes then he says they actually I think I may have them let him check to see for sure and magically they have the tires. Then the issues became the load of the tire. Apparently the load for my truck is 111 and the tires are 107 so I can get them but they make you sign something acknowledging it. Well why would it say on the website that it's a good fit? I was very disappointed by this attempt to up sale me and honestly if I wasn't going out of town the next morning I would have went somewhere else. read more

In the past I would have rated 4 stars , but my recent experience exposed why the average rating is 2 stars. I bought a set of expensive tires for my Tundra and a slow leak has been existent for several weeks sinice. I've attempted to get the leak fixed twice but was told I'd have to leave my vehicle all day or make an appointment for a week day. They easily scheduled me in on a Saturday to sell me the tires but can't take 20 minutes to service what they sold. I guarantee if I were to agree to the additional services they tried to sell me, I would be fit into the Saturday schedule. This is the last set of tires I'll ever buy here, and I recommend you look elsewhere too. Total disappointment! read more

Omg STAY AWAY. This NTB location is worse than the 249 store. Dropped off the car for an alignment at noon with two cars ahead. At closing they hadn't even moved the car. And the manager Matt was so rude and condescending to my wife that he is a disgrace to the firm. We plan on escalating and doing everything we can to get him fired. read more

I called to get a price on programming 4 new TPMS sensors, to my surprise they had the audacity to ask for $499.00.. nope this is not a typo. They actually expected for someone to pay $499.00 for something that takes no effort or time to complete.. I immediately reached out to Walmart Autimotice, hoping that they are able to do it. Everything seemed great on initial visit, however I came to learn very quickly they are always trying to upcharge and slide unneeded packages and maintenance. After realizing the multiple things charged that I either did not want or need they were extremely unhelpful and would not help fix the issues. I would not recommend. read more

Came here around 11 to get a basic oil change and was helped by Chris who told me there was a 30-45 minute wait. I made an appointment to come back at 2. I came about 10 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by Jeremy who got some basic information from me and took my car back right away. While I waited for my car to be serviced, I waited comfortably in their good sized, air conditioned waiting area complete with seating for about 10 customers, a tv, soda vending machine, complementary coffee and wifi. The oil change only took them 20 minutes and was $30.00. They didn't try to sell me on 20 other things that I needed done to my car which I really appreciated. Definitely will come here again and Chris and Jeremy were very friendly and helpful! read more

I bought two premier Michelin tires on 7/20/2018 my mileage was 91,155 today's mileage is 100,001 & tires Guaranteed for 60K they refused warranty on tires & wanted to sell me new tires. Refused to rotate & balance my tires and would not move my newer tires on the back to the front. I have spent thousands there for brakes & other work they told me I needed until I started confirming with my mechanic the work they said I needed actually was not needed at all. They cheated me for the last time & have gotten their last dollar from me. I was a good customer of NTB but no more will I ever do business with them, especially this location. I brought my Honda in for an alignment Saturday. I knew suspension work might need to be done as well. Sure enough, it was needed. I picked up my car Sat and when I was braking the wheel was really shaking. With the suspension fixed it brought out my brake issue. So glad they were open on Sunday I brought it back in and they found both front rotors needed replacing and pads were getting low. I got VIP offer as well and that saved me $$$. If i could give this place a negative score, I would!! I went there less than 2 months ago for an air compressor. I was charged for a evac and recharge twice and a so called new air compressor. Needless to say I'm already having trouble with the compressor. AC has gone out! This happened before at an NTB in Pearland, that's why I don't go back there. They give you used parts, instead of the new one you pay for. I got a card from the lady in the front giving me $30 off on the next oil change. When I came in for that, I was told she no longer works there. So they didn't honor it. PLEASE heed the warning and stay away from these people. This place is a rip off!! Update, I went to another NTB on 1960, having another diagnostic and was told I received a refurbished compressor and it's malfunctioning. So here I am spending another $138 for something that should have been taken care of. Next, I'm sending this correspondence to the BBB and to the corporate office. read more

RACIST/UNPROFESSIONAL/IGNORANT. My dad came here for tire service that was told would be 1hr & 30 min long that lasted 2hrs & 30 min and the light was on soon as he got in the car to go home. So he went back in concerned because he just had this service which he pays plenty of money here for and asked as to why this wouldve happened and someone to check it. The man Carlos he asked as to why the light was on cause it's never happened before and the man responded "9/11 didn't happen before either". While the manager there with a tattoo sleeve on his arm not sure if his name was Micheal or not according to the invoice that was handed looked up and back down ignoring. My dad asked him "excuse me what did u say"? Confused as to what 9/11 has to do with his tires. I came back to the store to ask for an apology and the man goes "I meant 2011" trying to twist things. I said what does that have to do with tires then he responded saying "I don't owe u nothing" lol while the manager says "well let her think what she wants to" and saying " now you've brought me into this" when I asked as to why he let his employee act in such unprofessional way under his management and watch. And when I asked for a corporate number he handed me a useless paper with a customers invoice and said "find it yourself online".... all I wanted was an apology not ignorant threatening attitudes. Clearly the man even knew what I was talking about with the tone they had with me knowing I knew both were involved. It's so unfortunate to see that even in 2019 my parents have to deal with this condescending behavior and honestly it's heartbreaking.
