4.25.26 I stopped at this location because I was far from home and my tire sensor came on. I just needed some air for my tires. The young man who helped me was polite and friendly BUT, I have noticed the last few times I have visited ANY discount tire location they are always telling me my tire sensors are not working. (I have brand new ones installed recently) I fell for this a while back and had them install all new ones and they could NOT get them to connect to the electric part of my car. After spending a few hours there they gave up and said I needed to go to the dealership. Needless to say I had to go to the dealership and have them install new ones on my SUV. This cost me triple at the dealership. I am not sure if the staff are trained to try this selling practice but I will NOT fall for it again. The same goes for trying to sell you windshield wipers just don't do it. Stick to selling tires. As for stopping at this location again...not happening. read more

Appointment times seem to just be a suggestion. While waiting for my service, I saw at least 4 open bays, with 6+ customer vehicles waiting. I scheduled valve stem replacements, max 45 minutes; I scheduled for 8:15, and didn't get into the bay until well after 8:45. I would recommend utilizing the open bays to stage the next customer so turn around would be faster. Wait time does not equal the value of the service. Staff was professional and attentive, but again, time is more valuable. read more

No longer will I trust this company. I took my Mother-in-laws 2014 truck for its timely rotation. The tire SALES man denied the rotation as it was a Great time to sale her new tires. The tires were 3 years old and very low miles. Tires SALES man stated that they were not low on tread but persisted on the SALE of new ones. I did reach out and had additional meeting with the Manager to discuss. Manager offered new tires at no cost to remedy the situation. I did not accept as I will certainly take my business to a trust worthy establishment that doesn't sale un-need tires to the elderly. After discussing that I personally have the authority with in my company to also use a trust worthy Tire Company. Hope this doesn't happen to you. read more

I made an appointment last night for 8:15 am. I arrived at 8 am and was promptly greeted, checked in, tires inspected and pulled in to Bay 1 for a tire rotation. While rotating my tires they found a nail in one of them. I always purchase the insurance so it was promptly repaired for me at no charge. Staff is friendly and facility is clean. However if you can make it to any other discount tire location please visit that one. This is the slowest moving discount tire I have been to. If my tire wasn't in the shape it was when I passed this location I would have gone to the family owned tire shop down the road. read more

Follow-up review: Today's visit was spot-on great! I believe I was served by the manager on call. My appointment was for 11:15, but there was a considerable backlog. My vehicle was in by 11:35, no big deal. The team in the shop were NASCAR fast. Once my vehicle hit the bay, I was out in what felt like 10 minutes flat. We've always been happy with Discount Tire, and this location does a very good job for us. Multiple times we've purchased tires here. They always (and I mean always) stand by their pledge that if something is wrong with your tire, they'll fix it or replace it. Anywhere. Your tires are the one thing between you and the road, so it's nice to know that Discount Tire has you covered should anything go wrong. Came in here recently to replace all four tires on my car. I knew the tires would need to be ordered, so I placed the order and paid, assured that I would be called as soon as the tires came in. Sure enough, that afternoon I received a call that my tires were there, and when did I want to make an appointment to come in? Appointment made for the following morning - in and out in under 30 minutes. Perfect! Precautions were taken for safety during these COVID times. All employees wore face masks. Chairs inside and out were spaced apart by at least 8 feet. No longer do they ask for your keys to drive your vehicle in - YOU do it instead. I felt a whole lot better knowing someone else wasn't going to be sitting in my car, although driving up and off their lifts with a standard transmission vehicle can at times be a challenge. Excellent service. I only wish that access to this location was a bit easier due to the configuration of medians in the roadway and their one entrance/exit that is relatively close to a major intersection. read more

This is the only place I go to to get my tires rotated, buy new tires, fix a flat, remove debris out of tires, actually anything tire related. While at times it may take awhile, you can tell by their stride, they do their best to get everyone in and out. There are always a lot of employees, they are clean with their repairs and they hand the wheel lock directly back to you to prevent a loss. With friendly and fast service every time I go, i never have to look elsewhere. I strongly recommend my specific location I go to in Spring TX on Louetta near Kuykendahl. The manager Iggy and Hunter, know the meaning of "Old Fashion Customer Service", both young men were well informed, gave me best options, without trying to sell me things that weren't needed at time of service. You can never go wrong with buying tires from this franchise. This particular location is friendly, fast and does not try to sell you products that you don't need. The price is always high for tires regardless where you buy from but excellent customer service is hard to come across. This location provides that. My suggestion: Ask for the assistant manager Doug. He's a wonderful employee that gets right down the point and gets you in and out ASAP. He actually listens and doesn't try to up sell you on products that you don't need. Most recent visit - on the previous visit they noted that the front tire treads are getting worn - but good enough for 6,000 miles. 6,000 miles later, they were worn - they estimated 1 hour to rotate an replace the tires - completed the job in 40 minutes. Our family gets all our tires at discount, highly recommend purchasing the warranties on the tires (they are fairly cheap) can't tell you how many screws or nails I've had in my tires from driving around Houston and the amount I've saved with these warranties! It's such a simple process too then you just purchase the new warranty for the new tire. I'm always in and out fast (though it's best to come early morning when they open to get the fastest service- I sometimes find just before close you can get in and out pretty fast as well) I've never sat more than 30 min. The staff at this location is great! They go above and beyond working fast but keeping quality. And always very kind. I definitely recommend making worrying about your tires less of a hassle by going through discount. Plus you can stop in anytime for a quick rotation or to have your tires aired to the right pressure if they're low, free of charge. read more

I've been a Discount Tire customer for years, and generally had good experiences. My most recent experience was much different than I was used to. I bought a set of new tires, but it took 3 tries to get them balanced correctly. I've never had that issue before. The third time I brought the car back to get the issue corrected an employee named Paul walks up and interrupts me mid sentence by saying "hang on a second", so he could tell the person I was explaining my issue to that he had moved some boxes. It was clear that he felt much more important than the customers. While driving through the parking lot we very nearly got hit by another employee trying to whip a car out of a parking spot with total disregard for any other car driving. I will probably continue to use Discount Tire. The one on 2920 has been consistently good. I would recommended avoiding this location. The work was poor and the employees I encountered (with the exception of Jason, who was great) are most interested in putting themselves first. read more

My TPMS sensor light came on, and I had my local Kaliber Auto check it/them out. They stated three were malfunctioning and would cost $100 each. Since I always go to Discount Tire on Louetta for all my tire needs, I stated I would go there. Kaliber said that was a good idea as they have specialized equipment for reprogramming, etc. Discount Tire looked up my info, performed an inspection and all four were malfunctioning. My tires and the TPMS sensors squeaked by under the full five year warranty, so all four TPMS' were replaced saving me over $400! I appreciate the excellent customer service, friendliness, and honesty at this place of business. read more

My low pressure light came on. I stopped at a gas station and got 2.00 in quarters. I put air in one of the tires. I couldn't find my pressure gauge so I only added a little air. The pressure light stayed on. As I was driving home I wondered what I was going to do. I remembered that there was a Discount Tire at Loretta and Kuykendahl . I pulled into the parking lot. Before I could get out of the car I was greeted by an a service writer. I told him the problem and I was directed to one of the bays. They put my car on a lift and inspected all 4 tires. They put air in to the correct pressure in all the tires. They were done in 10 minutes. They told me that all my tires were good just low on air. They did not charge me anything! I got great service. Incredible service! Thanks Augustine for keeping me up to date throughout the process of working on my wife's vehicle. I came here to have my tire/wheel looked at. There seemed to be something wrong with one of the front tires. One of the two (if not both) seemed extremely loud when reaching high speeds on the highway. After the wait and the guys in the shop working on the car, Augustine approached me with an updated. I was told my tires were out of balance. He also recommended getting an alignment on the vehicle, as thenissie may persist. Afterwards, he told me the vehicle would be available in a few minutes. I was approached once again by Augustine informing me they had found a nail in one of the tires and would be another 10 minutes. I was impressed by the service Augustine offered. The attention to detail as well as good communication with their customer. I left with working tires and with one less nail! Whenever I need tires or have tire problems, this is the first place I come. The manager Greg is a good guy, although I feel like he doesn't recognize me every time I go there. My only complaint is that, recently my tire has been going low and haven't had time to bring it in to get it checked, so I have been getting the 1 minute free air checks, and lately I have had to wait 5 minutes or so before someone helps me. One time I even waited 10 minutes or so before I just drove off. read more

I'm going to give this 4 stars because I'm just going to give the guy the benefit of the doubt this time. I scheduled an appt at 1230pm to get a tire rotation and balance. It wasn't really crowded and I was done in about 20 min. I later went to read the receipt and found that I only got a rotation and not a balance. I told them that I specified for both in the reservation, but the attendant said he just saw that I only requested a rotation. It wasn't until I left that I found that I had actually reserved for rotation and BALANCE. They told me if the steering wheel vibrates to bring it back, and my car ran fine. I'm just going to let it slide this time and just chalk it up to a simple mistake. They saw me on time and finished promptly. I'll try again. read more

The tires on my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder were worn out and I was looking online at various stores. Found a set I liked at this store, but had some questions, mainly about if the tires I was buying would fit the rims. Went in last Monday to ask the question and they were answered promptly. I then made an appointment for the following Wednesday at 5pm to have the tires installed. When I got there at the scheduled time, they took my vehicle back with no wait and started to replace my tires. After about 25 mins or so they were done and I was on my way. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went there to get my air check, was parked there to get it checked for 10 minutes when all the employees were crowded around one car and just talking. They saw me looking at them, no one approached me. Went inside to ask for help A LOT Of employees made eye contact but didn't assist me.
