Everything was delicious, the place is small and cozy, and the service is very friendly--I always love it!
Visited for some dessert after having dinner nearby. If you check-in on Yelp, you'll get a complimentary topping!! I feel like not many places have these deals, so it was a nice surprise! The place is pretty small, but it was empty and easy to find a spot to sit. Ordered a green tea ice with mochi on the side and the condensed milk on the side. The mochi was super chewy and good, and the green tea flavor was great! The booth and tables were clean. Parking is also easy and free
Absolutely amazing!! Definitely try this out! You can choose from several combinations that are already have the flavors and toppings decided or you can build your own. You choose between a hill or a mountain size. I played it smart and ordered a hill size and built my own- got salted caramel ice, drizzled with caramel and condensed milk and added m&m's. The way the ice is shaved makes it creamy like a lighter version of ice cream. It did not melt too quickly either. Service was helpful and offered suggestions. Super cute vibe on the inside!
It was so busy at 9:10 pm. The parking lot is big enough so that was good. Inside, every table was full so we waited to togos got their items and left to sit at a table. We watch three people get play their claw game, only one was successful at getting something after three tries (the bigger machine that is $2 per play). I got a large drink and man, it was large!!! And only $5.50!!!! Wow. The drink was ok but not the best drink ever. I was come back here.
The shaved ice was pretty yummy being creamier than I expected. The milk tea was the bomb. We got the brown sugar milk tea. I would definitely come back for the milk tea. The staff were very polite as well. The lady at the counter explained that they were out of some items so she told me what they did have available after I asked. The store is on the smaller side but it looks cool on the inside. They also have a few booths/tables if you're trying to stay for a little. I really wanted to try the vanilla ice so I'll definitely come back again!
Love the convenience of this location, it is a bit small but doesn't seem to be crowded. The shave ice is served on a plate if you get it for here and in a cup if you get it to go. I would t get it in a cup as i noticed it gets pretty squished down. Service was quick and wonderful!! The shave ice is flavorful and fresh.
We've only ever had the shaved ice, but we love it every time. We always go back because the ice is unbelievably smooth, there's never any worries about ice chunks and the texturetexture is just unbeatable. The toppings are solid and the employees are friendly.
Ordered the the Mountain - coffee, almond, condensed milk and chocolate topping. The Associate was extremely pleasant and well paced. She presented a smile and sparky disposition. The ambiance is laid back and chill. The kids enjoyed the claw machines as much as the treats.
Pretty good desserts and drinks place! We tried their shaved ice and a coffee boba drink. Both were delicious and refreshing. They were busy, but our order came out pretty quickly. Service was fast and friendly!

This place is so good! You get a lot for the cost and the orders come out quickly. We tried 3 different flavors and they were all tasty.
My aunt and cousins came from out of town and really wanted shaved ice. We were debating whether it was worth it to go all the way in bellaire when I found this place! First impressions: The area gets super packed depending on the time and day you're going. It's right next to oh my Gogi (one of my fave food places) and spotlight karaoke that gets packed on the weekends and nights. We came during the day and there were only 30min parking spaces available for us. Service: Servers were very friendly and our drinks/shaved ice came out pretty fast. Food/Drinks: I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. It was okay, not my favorite, but it wasn't bad. I think the real saving grace here is the shaved ice. You're able to customize it to your liking and it tastes pretty good. We went for two chocolate type ones and were pretty satisfied (these are smalls btw). Definitely would come back, especially since I live super close!

A yummy snack during any time of the year. I got the coconut shaved ice and it was so good, the flavor came through and the texture was soft and melted perfectly. I love tapioca so I couldn't help myself when I saw it as a topping option. It was nice and chewy, I was basically consuming a coconut boba drink in a new form. The price was affordable and it's shareable with friends or someone special. The vibes are cute, there's many spots to sit at. The boba tea prices make a bit more sense - the starting price is $3, although that slowly creeps up once you want it to actually look like boba tea. They offer three sizes, whereas most offer only one. It's often crowded, with ample seating room and simple seating outside, too. My first time trying shaved ice like this and it was good! I got the combo 1, which is vanilla shaved ice, Oreo pieces, strawberries, and Nutella drizzle. I substituted coconut shaved ice for the vanilla. The texture and taste is unique. It's super light and flaky but when it melts in your mouth it has a kind of creamy consistency like ice cream but not as thick (for lack of better word). The coconut flavor was light and paired nicely with the other toppings. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I got it in a to-go cup but ended up eating there. It was pricey at almost 9 dollars so I'm not sure I'd return but it was a unique and tasty treat to try! read more

This is one of those few boba tea places that serves a no sugar option for Taro Milk Tea. I have drove by this strip mall many times but never tried the beverages at this place. They do serve ice cones in various flavors too. Quite friendly staff and really quick service. Not to mention the tea was good too and boba tasted just right. read more

Cashier was very knowledgeable about what substitutions can be added for a dairy free drink. The matcha drink I ordered was a lackluster in flavor, it wasn't too overpowering which I was hoping for in matcha. It tasted very weak. Since it was a powder based; the flavor was pretty frothy and gritty. The smoothie just wasn't smooth. However, the taro milk tea with fruit jellies was pretty opposite. It was sweet, creamy, smooth, and ideal. Kinda small restaurant with plentiful tables, though it gets busy quick and other patrons crowd the walkways and the entry way. This shaved ice and boba shop serves some of the fluffiest & yummiest shaved ice I've ever had. It was the perfect way to end a long day! I filled out a create-your-own shaved ice form, and chose to get a mountain-sized taro shaved ice with honey boba, sweet red bean, mochi, and condensed milk. The forms for create-your-own are by the left corner of the ordering counter. (Checking in on Yelp also means one free topping!) The ice was shaved-to-order and took about 5-7 minutes to make. The mountain size serving was HUGE! Taro flavor was abundant in the shaved ice itself. As I mentioned earlier, the texture was amazingly fluffy, soft, and snow-like. The ice barely melted at all while it was being consumed, which allowed it to maintain its snow-like texture the entire time. I liked both the honey boba and sweet red bean toppings. The honey boba was perfectly chewy, and the red beans weren't overly sweet and were cooked well. The mochi was a little bit of a letdown because it tasted floury and was denser than expected. I never have the highest expectations for shaved ice because many times there are hidden ice chunks or the shaved ice melts too quickly. However, this place had neither problem. This is a cool little spot for a unique dessert. They have shaved ice with multiple toppings that you can choose to put on top. It seems like a lighter and somewhat healthier option than something like Ice cream. If you haven't tried shaved ice before I would try this spot out. read more

I've had this place on my bookmark for a while now, and finally got a chance to go and check it out. It was extremely busy inside there were no social distancing in place, because there were people everywhere. Despite this, we decided to go inside, and get 2 different plates, one with strawberry ice with strawberries and mangoes and condensed milk, and one with Nutella ice with m&ms and chocolate syrup. Both were nice but I prefer the fruity flavour ones. I was surprised how loud it was inside, because the person who was making the dishes had to manually change the ice and shave it down herself, and I could see she was stressed because of how many people there were inside. I felt bad for her because she was doing a lot of things, but also there should have been social distancing in place especially since the shop is so small. I would come here again, but I would be wary to come at a time where there would not be as many people, and especially so that there isn't so many people crowded in around in a small area. We ordered the Nu milk tea, Good-zilla milk tea, and Green tea "ice hill" with mochi + strawberries + watermelon and drizzled with condensed milk. Everything was so delicious! The service was amazing, very kind, and speedy. My partner and I came on a Sunday afternoon around 7pm, it was pretty quiet atmosphere, seemed like we just missed a big rush because their dish tray was full but the staff were patient with me and treated us very nicely. When I want something slightly different but still enjoy my craving for boba, I visit this gem. I'm not a big ice cream eater, however whenever the craving arises, Nu Ice satisfies. I have only had their strawberry slapt, but it's combination of ice cream, strawberry syrup, pudding and boba is so very good!! It's a cute little inside setting and usually very clean. Here for work in Houston this week and this is our 2nd time visiting Nu Ice. My 16yo and I were craving for Korean bingsu and this is the closest thing we could find. Great location, mixed in with a variety of restaurants, a yogurt shop and a cafe. Both times the "artisanal shave ice" were perfect, tremendous serving of toppings, and the hill size was just right for two to share. Service was great. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because the decor and furniture could use an update. Go check them out! read more

A nice treat alternative to ice cream . This was my first time there end so I didn't know how to order. No one explained how to order or asked if it was my first time so I just winged it. this was a cute spot to grab a nice cold drink in the houston heat. i had a milk tea with boba and my friend had this Nutella dish. the tea was pretty good but this Nutella dish was finished in less than ten minutes. David was ahhhhhhmazing! Greeted my daughter and I upon entering! Asked how our day was going and recommended several drinks. I settled on the Green SuperFuel because I need this summer body to shape up or ship out! Needless to say, it was refreshing and all things green!!!! My daughter ordered the Nu Half and Half which is a fan favorite! She said, "It's really good!" The establishment is clean and tidy, very strategically decorated so that guest feel comfortable lounging while enjoying their drinks. My daughter and I opted for outside seating. Nu is a really cool place. We ordered one mountain with 2 fruits and tapioca. The mountain size was enough to feed all 5 of us and the honey boba is ridiculously good I've had their boba drink too before and its really tasty. Hello, are there any vegan options for the ice dessert?
We have a mango sorbet ice which is completely free of dairy. Also we have tons of teas and slushies which are vegan free!
Can we regulate the ice and sugar?like request to put half sugar and half ice
For almost all drinks you can do half sugar, regular sugar or extra sweet. Also half ice is an option avails le too!
Are there any flavors other than mango sorbet that are dairy free?
Currently mango sorbet is the only completely fairy free option. If it's a lactose concern however, all our shaved ice flavors are very light and since we started selling ice, we have not had anyone complain of any adverse reactions. Thank you and…

Our nu ice does contain a bit of dairy. We have not had any complaints of people reacting to our nu ice. We also have a mango sorbet flavor which contains zero dairy!
