They have new management. Anyone who has left reviews in the past should not be considered. They were in a transition of taking over the business and I know for a fact that they're probably the ONLY business surviving this economy. The other cleaners down the turnpike either close early, are closed for more than two days of the week, or completely went out of business. My entire family come here to get tailoring from Debbie and service from Sonny and Yong. I have never seen a dry cleaners with their prices. The amount of rude and entitled people that come to this business is ridiculous. If you had a bad day go home, don't complain about your life at a small business. If a customer is unhappy, they do their best to change that frown upside down but unfortunately I've come and seen ungrateful and inconsiderate customers too often. From reviews and the store front, I expected this place to be professional. It was a huge disappointment being a first time customer. I dropped off a few items to dry clean, each item was inspected before I received the pick up ticket. When I went back to pick up my items the next day, I was told a number of things: 1. My phone number doesn't work. The number was correct but they insisted they could not reach me in regards to an issue (after the item was cleaned) which leads me to point 2: 2. They informed me upon my arrival that the Burberry jumpsuit was "broken". The item was definitely NOT broken when I left it there to be dry cleaned. And let me reiterate this: it was broken AFTER they cleaned it. 3. I was blamed for bringing in a broken item- then they blamed Burberry's cheap zipper quality. 4. Upon pressing on them how this happened, the solution they gave me was they will switch my zipper out. That's not possible- they offered a plastic zipper and plastic pull. There's NO way I'm replacing it with a cheap zipper on a Burberry jumpsuit. Which had a #3 metal zipper teeth with a metal logo zipper pull. So they suggested I contact Burberry to ask for the zipper. I was completely stunned. My profession is in the apparel business- I'm an expert when it comes to clothes, be it fabrics, constructions, every trim, every detail because I design for an international apparel company. To blame me as a customer for bringing in a broken item is a complete dodge on their responsibility and I find it insulting. The zipper pull was not at all flimsy. This item was retailed about $600 and it was new, worn only once. It was in tact, functional, and sturdy when I left it there. My assumption is that it got caught on something while they were handling it and had to cut it to free the items that were tangled. (Potentially threw in the washer when it's supposed to be DRY CLEAN) The zipper pull is METAL, it actually looks like someone used a plier to cut the METAL zipper pull out. I contacted Burberry and took the item to the store, they are shipping it out to be fixed, as this is an AUTHENTIC product. The charge from Burberry to replace the zipper is $75. I could've gotten the item dry cleaned multiple times at another cleaner!!! Plus save myself a whole lot of time and hassle to fix this. I still have to wait a month to get it back from the manufacturer. I am extremely disappointed, upset, and angry for the insult and irresponsible attitude they had. Thought this would be my go-to cleaner in the future and for sure I cannot trust them with any expensive clothes. The lady told me this never happened to them and so it must be Burberry's issue on their quality. I completely disagree. read more

The staff is amicable and helpful. However, depending on the type of tailoring needed I would not suggest this place. They are skilled, so I don't want to give them a scathing review. I sew myself and understand the time and skill it takes to complete this type of work. However, I took two dresses here for a recent party and was disappointed. A hole was left below the zipper. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe threads came loose in that area from the manufacturer's sewing even though it was a well-made dress that retailed at $400 it doesn't always mean the construction is on par. I assumed it was just an oversight of the tailor as they were turning the dress inside out over and over again to fix other areas of the dress. They were excellent when I brought it back to fix it and did it immediately. But when I got home, it still didn't lay flat, and there were other fit issues that I hadn't noticed previously because I was shocked about the hole. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to be ok with it as the dress was for a party that evening. The second dress was also not completed properly and had to be redone to fix a loose hem because it was sewn with the wrong stitch length. Both dresses were bias-cut fabrics which can be trickier to tailor, which I understand. However, for the price point of the tailoring, I expected a high level of skill. read more

Highly recommended. I got my wedding dress cleaned and boxed here. They did an EXCELLENT job. I was quoted prices from $800-1300 for this service at other places and Nu did it for a fraction of the cost. The owners even carried it out to my car. I'm so happy I came here. read more

I love love love them. Thank you fellow yelpers for helping me find this place because I have been so much happier since I found them. We originally had gone to another natural dry cleaner in Garden City which closed and we were on the hunt for a new, natural, dry cleaning place and thanks to yelp, we came across Nu Natural. The ladies (and gentlemen) that work there are incredibly sweet and they do a fantastic job. I've used them to hem some jeans that were too long for me and I've also had them fix up some dresses that didn't hang right on me and a too big bridesmaids dress. They have also done impeccable jobs with anything that I have had to have dry cleaned and they've done it well. Hard to find a cleaners/tailor that still does work on premise. They have a changing room and a mirror for you to be measured, they have very reasonable hours, their prices are also very reasonable, and best of all, they dry clean and press on site! Many dry cleaners send your items out to get done, and your items take at least 3 days to get cleaned, these guys will do it for you same day!!!!! I had a few pants altered, and they did great work, I could not tell by the stitching where it was done. The lady is also very friendly and accommodating. As I mentioned earlier, On a Wednesday I dropped off some pants to be dry cleaned and altered, I needed them urgently for work the following Monday, other cleaners in the area told me I would have to wait a week, these guys had it ready for me by Friday afternoon. read more

The owners here are exceptionally nice and professional. The prices are amazing, service is perfect, and the outcome is without a doubt the best result I've ever seen. I go here once a week and the owner jeanney takes the time and effort to remember more than just each customers name and you just feel that family environment. I think there's a very good reason this place has almost all 5 star ratings! The staff are so polite and sweet and the work is always done on time, super clean and crisp, and at a very reasonable price! What's even better is that this place is also very dog friendly! I took my pup there and was so surprised to learn that they had milkbone treats for her and even offered one of those lint roller things for free! Those things are so useful when you have a dog that sheds a lot. The place is fairly large too, with two changing rooms and three counters so you're not waiting around that long to drop off or pick up clothes and there is a sofa and tv to keep you occupied if you wind up waiting to get clothes tailored. It's difficult to find a good place for dry cleaning when you're new in town and I'm so glad I found this place on yelp and saw all the great reviews! read more

Due to my short legs, I have always had a problem finding pants that fit me properly. I always have to get my pant legs altered. Nu natural cleaners is my go to place. Its the little things that have kept me coming back for the past 8 years, such as the stitching that looks like it wasnt even altered. And its not just the alterations. Any dry cleaners can clean your clothes, but you can really tell Nu natural really cares about their customers. Never had any problems with any order, and the pressing!...the pressing and ironing is amazing. Like I said its the little things that set them apart. In short, great cleaners, kind and professional yet personable at the same time. Oh...i didnt mention that I try to save as much of dry cleaning as possible...and come all the way from MD...thats right, 5hours away MD...just to have them do my dry cleaning/alterations.
