I went with the Classic Nudo which I haven't had in a while and an order of Crab Rangoon. The Crab Rangoon came out first and I thought they were the best I have had in a while. They weren't as sweet as I remember them being and that was a good thing! Glad I ordered them. After going with the nduja bomb for so long, the classic was a little too tame for me, it was really good but I should have known I would miss the kick. I am not sure I have ever tried the chili oil they stock with their condiments by the drink station, but I will not miss out on it in the future! You walk in and the smell is AMAZING! I loved my first experience at Nudo House, I can see why it's packed to the brim. My friends and I actually ended up taking our food to go because there were no tables, but they packaged everything nicely and it travelled so well. My classic ramen was delicious, with the star of the show being the tea egg. I could eat a dozen of those. I also got the crab rangoon which were pretty good. They separated the noodles and the broth in different containers (and wrapped the soup one in a plastic bag to prevent leaking) which I really appreciated! The noodles were perfectly chewy, and thee egg was beautiful and soaked up all the flavor of the broth! (Without being too salty). The chasu was delicious as well. The portion size was also great! I was able to split this over multiple meals. In the past I've also tried the Hebrews hammer ramen (that one is shoyu based so is saltier)--I prefer the classic! It's limited. Limited menu, limited seating. There's not too much to say about this place, really. You order at the counter at the entrance, pay, sit and they bring you your food. I must admit it came quicker than I would have thought. I can't comment on anything other than the spring rolls. That's all I had when we visited. They were fresh and quite good. The accompanying dip/sauce was quite nice as well. My table mate had the mushroom bowl/pho. She quite enjoyed it. The food is what is bumping this review up to a three. The atmosphere and interior is what is keeping it down to a three only. There are enough interior pictures here, have a look and make up your own mind. Now I will say this, the Shroom Out itself was actually very delicious, the flavor was there. No complaints about the taste at all. But you can also order ahead and get your stuff to go. The service is great You ordered the front counter you go find a seat and they bring you your food. I ordered kimchi appetizer and I ordered The Curry for my main meal. Both which came out extremely fast and is hungry as I was I was very pleased with this. So let's talk about the food now. The kimchi was a pleasant change from normal kimchi. Not a spicy as Korean kimchi and also appear to be a little sweeter but also think they put the little radishes in their kimchi. It doesn't take away from the taste it still has that spunky bite but with a touch of sweetness. I enjoyed it very much. As for the curry it was delicious. Pack full of flavor and a proper egg. also ordered mine with pork which comes out separately and a dish and it was like tempura pork and oh my lawd was it good. I'm going to say is some of these big restaurants that claim to serve good ramen better watch out. Because this place will put you out of business. First visit and it lived up to the Mai Lee reputation. I drove up and saw a line out the door, probably would have gone somewhere else if I hadn't been meeting a friend. Glad I stuck around. It's a quick serve place so the menu is short enough you can make a decision fairly quickly which is good cause you pay as you order when you come in and the line goes outside with just half a dozen or so people waiting to order. There seem to be a lot of folks getting carry out for offices. I ordered egg rolls and the beef pho. The pho broth was so deeply flavored and the fresh ingredients, noodles and beef came together for a perfect meal. One note, they call names and bring things out rather than giving a number or something. I wasn't the only one sure on that LOL. My husband ordered the pho noodle soup and I got the pho banh mi sandwich with dipping broth -- both were delicious. We also got some papaya salad, which was refreshing. 3.5 stars there is really almost no ramen available in the STL area. i think this is one of those areas you really can't just trust ratings on, because if you actually google it or look it up, you'll see that there are plenty of "ramen" restaurants in the area with a rating of 4 or higher. however i think a lot of this is relative based rating, because in reality they are almost all bad nudo is probably the only non-menya rui ramen shop that is worth eating at. as indicated by the fact that they serve both Pho and Ramen here, you can't expect too much, but both are actually decent. it's not clear to me if you have to pay tip here, since this is yet another restaurant where you order at the front and then someone brings your food to your table, but it's not really wait service. i suppose you can just tip whatever you want overall, manage your expectations coming here given that it is a combo ramen/pho restaurant in STL read more

The order is fairly easy. I tried spicy miso ramen. It comes with charsiu, half an egg and mustard green. The broth is delicious with a nice kick. I love the texture of the noodles and mustard green as well. The part I dislike is the charsiu. It is very tough and chewy with pretty thick cut. I would want to replace charsiu with other protein instead -- if possible. The tonkotso broth was rich, creamy, and had some nuttiness. However, both the noodles and the pork were much chewier than I expected, making it difficult to eat. I enjoy freshness in a banh mi, and this one has all the expected veggies (carrot, cilantro, carrot, and jalapeño), but I encountered the same problem with the meat being too chewy.
