Love this place so much! It's so beautiful, the service was great, and the food was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was really calming and I loved the lighting. I'll definitely be returning.

I came here for their special menu - Bun Cha Ha Noi. Other family members ordered G1. Mien Ga and Pho Chin Nam with seared beef belly on the side. Everything was delicious. Service was quite slow, but pleasant. We did wait about 45 minutes for our order. The owner also came to check on our table which is a very nice touch : ) I"ll definitely come back for Bun Cha Ha Noi, and to try out their Bun Bo Hue.

Food was delicious, unfortunately they are not generous with their meat in the pho. Counted 5 pieces of meat, I'm assuming one would hope for a couple more pieces when paying almost $16 per bowl. Fried chicken was nice and flavorful. Thai tea was good but it was filled with too much ice. The service was a little bit slow, more than 20 minutes to get the appetizer in but overall the entire staff was kind and friendly. Ambiance I will say was odd, a lot of the time they had some sort of podcast playing in the overhead speaker.

Best Pho in the city, good portion size on all the dishes. Super nice staff, and the restaurant is always clean.

This place is a must try for Pho lovers! The broth was absolutely delicious and the noodles are made in house! I got the classic beef pho (P1) and had plenty to take home for leftovers. The service was also excellent -- the staff was very kind and attentive. I went on a weekend and they also had an assortment of treats. I got a ube mochi and it was the perfect sweet treat! This was my first time trying this place and I am adding it to my list for favorite Pho spots! Will be back soon!

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first was carry out and it was delicious and prepped perfectly. My husband and I went for dinner the second time and the pho was amazing, piping out and lots of meat and veggies. The service was superb. It was only one person, but she took care of all our needs. The restaurant has a nice comfortable vibe with plants all around and pictures all around. What I especially like is the temperature of the dining area, not too warm or too cool but it felt really good with the piping hot pho. We previously went to Grand Pho, which is now closed. The broth is just as savory and good as Grand Pho.

Pretty good pho! Broth is flavorful, meat is good, and noodles are plentiful. The service is a tiny bit slow but friendly. I tried the Dumpling Soup appetizer and the Pho Dac Biet. The Dumpling soup is very garlicky, fairly large, and has 8 standard chicken dumplings. The Pho Dac Biet was great (but since I have a big appetite I ended up asking for a side of extra meat). The broth is good, but adding the Hoisin sauce from the bottle on the table brings it to the next level. The bowl is chock full of noodles, and my bowl included vietnamese meatballs (okay), tendon (good), and eye-round meat (rare, beefy). My friend also got the thai iced tea and it was delicious. Not a bad spot!

I was craving pho so I decided to come here on a weekend lunch. Side note: I love how many pho restaurants there are in St. Louis. We were seated immediately and had our order taken as well; however, it took them almost an hour for our food to arrive so we were kind of off to a poor start (-1 star). I ordered the Pho Tai Chin Nam which had both rare and well-done beef. I think mine only had well-done beef but that was okay. I actually really liked the broth as it had a strong beef flavor. I did think the beef was a little bit too chewy but it went very well with the sriracha and hoisin sauce. Honestly, I would say this is probably the second or third best pho in St. Louis after Truc Lam. Overall, not a bad place to eat at all. The pho won't be mind-blowing but it'll definitely fulfill your cravings. The only thing is to budget some time when you come here as you might be waiting awhile for your order to arrive...

Absolutely the best Pho in the city! The Broth is flavorful but not greasy and the veggies are fresh and vibrant. The staff seemed to be light on the evening we went so things were a little slow but they were more than friendly and accommodating.

It looks like an ordinary place from the outside but the vibe is different inside. It is definitely more of a casual spot to solve your Vietnamese cravings. A lot of students from Saint Louis University come here so it's kind of the place where you bring your friends , have some food and drinks and talk about your trashy exes. I got the pho with lean beef. The portion is big with a lot of noodle. I wish they gave a little more beef. The broth was flavorful but just needed a little more kick to it. The wait time was long - I believe they are understaffed. However, I recommend this place if you are nearby and craving Viet food.

I have been coming to Pho Long since pre-covid. Their happy hour drink prices - on glasses of wine- are the perfect end to a stressful day. The brisket spring rolls are so delicious and I've gotten several of my friends hooked on them! This is my favorite restaurant to get pho. The restaurant is clean, while they do get busy the severs are personable. The music that they play creates a good vibe as well.

The expectation was high, and the restaurant delivered outstanding marks. The menu was huge (over 300 items) and we had no idea what to eat. No worries, the daughter of the proprietor, Sarah, was our server and without rushing, she thoughtfully asked questions to narrow down our options to the items she believed we would really like. She was very friendly and her recommendations hit the spot. I ordered a Banh Me Thit (56) and a Com Tom Thit Trung (74). The Banh Me had very fresh bread and I enjoyed every bite. The Com Tom Thit Trung was very good, just what I expected. Throughout our meal, Sarah would stop by to check on us and we also chatted about the restaurant and its' history (since I saw an article in St. Louis Magazine framed to the wall). One of my rules-of-thumb of good hospitality at a restaurant is if leftovers are boxed up for you. At the end of the meal, Sarah's brother cleared the table and boxed up the food. If you want authentic food with great service backed by a rich storyline with 40 years of history in St. Louis, check out Mai Lee!

Your order can be family style or individual. Family style allows you to share tea and big serving bowls of soups. Now for the good stuff. The menu is varied with authentic or Americanized "Asian" stirfry and egg rolls. The Pho is outstanding! My goodness, the flavors of the broth, with added ingredients from chicken and beef to vegetarian. What brings it home are the side dishes of flavor bombs they serve along side: jalapeños, bean sprouts, and Thai basil. Add it to the soup and the noodles seem to envelope it all with an explosion of flavor as you slurp even to the last drop. And grab those last leaves or noodles with your chopsticks. It's worth every bite. I highly recommend Mai Lee, as it is at the top of our all-time favorites list.

I knew they don't take reservations and won't seat an incomplete party, but I still got there a little early just to see if we could grab a table for five. I was surprised (in a good way) when they seated me before everyone else arrived. I even told the hostess I didn't mind waiting, but she encouraged me to go ahead and sit, which was really nice. Our server was super friendly and made sure I was taken care of while I waited. As my friends started arriving, he was quick to get them settled in too. We started with some non-alcoholic drinks and spent some time chatting before diving into the menu. It was honestly hard to pick just one thing, so I went with both the chicken pho and fried rice. I knew I wouldn't finish it all, but I really wanted both. Once we ordered, everything moved smoothly--our server checked in, made sure drinks were filled, and kept things organized. When the food came out, everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. Of course, with all the catching up we were doing, it took us a while to finish, but there was no rush at all. When we were ready, he brought the checks and was more than happy to split them out (always appreciate that!). Before leaving, I ordered a to-go meal for my husband and asked for a box for my leftovers. Our server actually took my plate and packed everything up in the back, which I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. He also brought out the to-go order right when it was ready. Honestly, everything, from the space to the service to the food, was just great. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon.

(Coffee yes, food, not so much) So I'm going to admit have no idea what to expect when I walk inside there... and I walk into .. A warehouse? So I walk in (to get out of the rain, figure I'm going to grab something to go), and I don't even notice the Kiosk at the front of the door line. (You don't need it guys! Trust me! Your bartendresses/waitresses(?) were nice enough and had smiles on their faces, even on a day as slow as today was (or maybe that's why they were happy? Who knows). I don't need any KIOSKS... keep the ladies around to add to the likeability factor! I'm just wanting to get going and so I walk up to the counter, and ask her what she recommends (sorry, dear if i didn't catch your name). Well the ONLY thing I knew won the menu was the milk-tea , so that was the easy choice. And you know my first question to any new place I go. WHAT is your recommendation? It took the waitress a moment to realize I wanted her choice for good food, so I guess that came as a surprise of sort? So I take her choice of the special croissant and just because my eyes see it... How about a Korean Potato corn dog? Thinking that's all there was to the place (note they hadn't even offered to make the milk-tea yet), go find a table.. and then my eyes kinda finally open up to the place. An entire rack of deserts.. Not just any deserts but things like chocolate Tiaramasu (I'd just finished watching one of my weird streaming apps that nobody watches but me), and the chef there had just finished making chocolate tiaramasu on the show, so I was tempted.. but then next to that blackbery cream cake.. just basicaly three SHELVES of mouth watering goodness. But instead of asking I turn around and REALIZE there's an entire SHELF of asian/french pastries (obviously packaged and stored and sold) over to the wall. How the heck did i not see this when I walked in? Okay, so I go simple pick up a couple of deserts off the shelf to go with my meal while I'm still looking around. Unlike Amigo Sole, there's not a lot that draws in terms of art (again other than the ARTISTRY in the sweets department). It's at this point i notice that the restaurant/warehouse has it's own little Karaoke/TV (dont know if it's programmable or how it works). but i figured that's to keep up the warehouse/rave ambiance? Nothing that really stands out, but does make it a bit unique. Anyway food comes, (this is not a rapid cook location, obviously) and make my way out the door. The Milk-tea was PERFECT all the way home. The rest of it... the Korean Potato dog was MASSIVE in size, but was kinda of the bland side, while the specialty croissant wasn't _bland_ . that's not say it wasn't bad, it was just there. Maybe i"m just not a fan of Vietnamese cooking yet? The two pastries from the shelves were what you'd thing for store processed pastries... Next time I'm going to hit the REAL bakery stuff and hopefully that can pick up the score a bit. Service - 5/5 (again very friendly, smiling) Atmosphere - 3.5/5 (unique rave atmosphere without the rave) Food - 3/5 (Again, needs work.. or my tastebuds do?)

Parking was easily accessible on adjacent lots or on the street. The inside of the restaurant is modern and clean. It is an open concept, so you can see a portion of the kitchen from the seats. My party of 5 was seated immediately by a hostess who gave me the vibe that she neither loved or hated her job...she was just sort of there. It took 18 minutes for a server to show up at our table...By this time, I could have recited their menu! The party of 6 beside us finished their food, got their to go boxes, paid their tab, & chit chatted before we were even acknowledged. We were not the only ones who noticed that our party was being ignored/ overlooked because a lady in the party next to us (the party who had already paid) leaned over to me and said, I promise the food is worth the wait. Hence we stayed... When the waiter brought our water, we went on and ordered our appetizers. We asked if he would go on and take our entree orders. My son ordered pad Thai, one daughter drunken noodles, the other daughter fried rice, my husband and I fried rice and drunken noodles... The waiter then told us, we don't have drunken noodles, the noodles did not come in on the delivery order (I get it, not your fault), but we were confused because nothing was said about those dishes not being available when we sat down as well as when my daughter ordered drunken noodles (which come to find out he had written that part of the order down wrong)... My husband asked if they could just substitute a different type of noodles from one of the other noodle dishes into the drunken noodles, and the waiter said that the noodles in the drunken noodles were large and flat. My husband reiterated to the server that we knew that and asked the question again. The server gave the same response. I am not sure if his intent was to be condescending or if his comprehension was that poor, but with service like that, I have little faith in the quality of the food... By this time, things were beyond frustrating, so we got up and left. We ended up at Sen Thai and had a great meal. Guess we will have to continue to do some Yelp research on other quality Thai restaurants in STL...Chao Baan will remain a mystery for us!
