When I walked in, there wasn't a single customer, just an employee on her phone. When I requested service, she immediately refused, citing their 8:00 PM closing time. The situation only got worse from there. Despite having plenty of time for a quick brow arch, she became argumentative and extremely rude. Only when I mentioned speaking to a manager did she suddenly agree to help me - but then started muttering under her breath and huffing and puffing. At that point, I declined the service because I wouldn't trust someone with such a poor attitude to work on my face. She then tried to insist I had to get the service done because I had "signed in". I informed her that I was under no obligation to accept service from someone displaying such unprofessional behavior. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I've had. There was absolutely no reason for such terrible treatment, especially when they still had plenty of time before closing. I will never return to this location and would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Vivian and her staff, Madison and JazmenGlory, all do precise and careful work, besides being lovely ladies. So when Vivian decided to train to do permanent lip blush, I didn't hesitate to be a model. I was confident she would again do precise and careful work. But permanent make-up is a more difficult procedure than lash extensions! Vivian was so patient with me in choosing a color and lip outline that would give the natural look I wanted. And it worked! Vivian is the lead lash/ business owner there, and she has been a pleasure to get my eyelashes from. We not only have gotten to know each other really well, but I feel so comfortable with her while my eyes are closed for hours at a time. Getting your eyelashes can look/ feel uncomfortable at first, but Velvet Lash has the best glue, technique, and place to get your lashes done that I have ever gone to. My eyes have NEVER hurt, or burned after my lash extension process. The salon has good parking and is easy to get to. My pre-session research made me feel that it was going to be a big healing event and maybe even require me to be home for a week or so. NOPE! Tareylon is a pro, and after the numbing was put on for 20 minutes, it just felt like a little vibration. A teeny bit of a pinch as it wore off, but not bad at all. I didn't have to over communicate the look I was going for...she just talked to me, tuned in and NAILED IT. I am over the MOON!
