Horrible costumer service. This is NOT a Brazilian business, the owner is extremely unprofessional, she talks loudly on the phone, then placed the phone next of my ears. I had to endure the phone ringing no stop, then she listened to a broadcast out loud while applying my eyelashes when I complained, she refused to turn it off. I purchased 2 services, when I explained that I was sick and needed to have rescheduled the second session , she didn't reply. She was paid for a service that she didn't provide. read more

My lashes look so beautiful. I'm in love with them. The whole ride home I kept sneaking peaks of them in my rear view mirror. I came here for a Brazilian ($25) and underarm ($15) wax as a referral from my friend who knows the owners from a previous location. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and it smelled wonderful. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Good: customer service, fast and efficient. The esthetician explained everything as she was performing the service. I'm searching for alternatives to the brow bar that I normally go to. I think you should have at least 3 places that you can go for things like hair or makeup, brows, etc; just in case your usual person isn't available. Sweet Samba is definitely on my-list. I got a flier for Sweet Samba at the Atlanta Women's Expo about a month ago and called ahead to see what the "Introductory Special" was. It was mainly for waxes, but I still made an appointment to get my eyebrows touched up. They do allow walk-ins, but I think for things like facials, and body waxing, you should make an appointment. It's located in a house right off main street and there is parking in the front and the rear. I was impressed by the ambiance and the set up; it's very peaceful. Don't let the outside deceive you. Each room has a table with the paper cover; it resembles the ones that you can find at a doctor's office. So I can tell that they take sanitation very seriously. The rooms have large mirrors and even televisions in the ceiling. While getting my eyebrows done, I explained that some people don't really know what to do with my eyebrows because of the way that they grow. The aesthetician explained that our eyebrows are like sisters and they do their own thing. Mine are like cousins by marriage because they are totally different. Overall, I was pleased with what was done. Waxing is painful, and my eyes tend to water. But she explained that there is some sensitivity around my eyes as she wiped the few tears. My only con is the shape. I didn't really specify, and they aren't shaped like what I'm used to, but I can express that the next time I go. If you're in the area, you should check them out. I came in for a natural lash set (nothing too lavish). Chasity was my esthetician. She was really nice, and I can tell she took her time and has been doing this for awhile. During my pregnancy and after ANOTHER surgery (yeah, it's been a ROUGH season) she helped me onto the table, took so much care and the visits always feel like going to see a friend vs a service provider. I went to Sweet Samba for the first time two weeks ago. They impressed me right away before I even confirmed my appt time. Erica( my lashtician) was very flexible and accomodating with my crazy work schedule. I had to reschedule a few times but Erica was very patient and professional each time that I requested a new date/time slot. On the morning of my appt, I arrived at the location without any difficulties since the building is on the main road. I signed in and Erica was readily available to start on my lashes. I entered a nice, quiet room that had a comfortable massage table with a blanket and pillow. Erica was playing nice, calming music in the background; the overall ambience was very welcoming and serene. Erica was very friendly and professional and I appreciated our conversation. My lash took approx. 1hr for a refill. Erica did a great job and I trusted that she would when I initially met her. My follow up, I got my eyebrows done for my wedding as stated in my first review and my eyebrows looked awful. I asked for threading, and instead of being honest and telling me she doesn't know how, the aesthetician proceeded to attempt to do my eyebrows. I had to draw them in for my wedding. Yesterday I got a full set of mink lashes and it was my very burst time doing the mink lash extensions but Chasity took very good care of me and my lashes look so natural I would never go back to doing the individual lashes. I came in and was greeted by two very nice ladies. I had an appointment to get my eyelash extensions removed. I walked in a very dark relaxing room with soothing music and the lady went to work. Unfortunately, the glue on my extensions was very fresh so it was hard for her to get them off (obviously not her fault). The serum did get in my eye occasionally and let me tell you, it burns like Satan's own asphalt was pored into your eyes. Thankfully, the lady washed out my eyes to cool the burning. Service was great and the lady did a great job, my only concern is it felt a little rush to me. I still had glue on my eyelashes and some of my lashes were sticking together a little bit. The lady handed me a wand and told me to brush and put oil on them when i got home and that would to take off all the glue. I felt shy to ask her if she could just take it off for me so I just thanked her instead. As we were leaving the room I saw another client waiting for her so I felt that maybe she was late with their appointment and didn't say anything. All in all, my experience was great, customer service was fabulous, and the price was good (20$ for removal) I will be going back to them tomorrow for eyelash extensions so I am excited about that! read more

My new obsession is getting eyelashes done. This is definitely not your typical fake eyelashes. If you have never had a mink eyelashes set, basically it's getting one long thick eyelash super glued individually to each one of your existing eyelashes. It truly is worth every penny. I found Sweet Samba on Groupon, which can be a hit or miss, a few months ago. I've been going fairly consistently. A full set can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. I normally use this time to take a power nap. Thereafter, a fill-in takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on how bad you abuse your lashes. It is similar to getting a full set of nails and fill-ins in 2 weeks/ The ladies at Sweet Samba are always accommodating.
