I think this is probably the best Senorita bread in Sacramento. Served warm and soft. Yum!! It is a must try. I also tried their vegetable Lumpia. Those were good also.

Didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store until they kindly shipped it back to me. Thank you so much!

We stopped by Starbread Friday after Thanksgiving but we had came after their holiday hours so we couldn't get any. this isn't our first time having Starbread but it is our first time at the Roseville/Sac location. This is a special shoutout to the Starbread team because I didn't realize I dropped my wallet outside the store and they shipped it back to me, which is so incredible and speak volumes to the people here. Thank you!

So good and super quick. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Smells amazing as soon as I walked in.

Can never go wrong with senorita breads. Great for snacking, parties, or any occasions. Prices are reasonable. Service was quick. Eat them while they are hot and fresh! If you get 15+ pieces, it will come in a box. They sell other items as well such as lumpia, malasadas, croissants, etc. Plenty of parking but just be careful at it is not in the safest area :)

If your going to come here for lumpia, you need to come early. They sell out fast. There's a variety of bake goods. Call if you're looking for a specific bake goods.

This place is so good. Man that bread is on point. It's super soft, hot and buttery. I was not sure what it was going to be like so I got a small bag, worst mistake of my life. . No not Fr but it went to fast and I was sad when I got to the last one. Don't be like me a get a small one get the biggest box the have, you might just want to bring a Amazon, box from home and ask them to just fill that up. It's beyond good i I am for sure going back

    Hot and fresh Senorita bread!

I love señorita bread!! Every time I come to Starbread bakery they always have pipping hot senorita bread, sometimes the wait is less than 5 minutes for a fresh batch. The señorita bread is always so hot, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. The prices are great! I need to make it a point to try some of their other sweets or baked goods one day!

One of my favorites bakery in Sac, if you're craving for fresh pastries, Filipino pandesal, and señorita bread, look no more this is the place. Starbread Bakery is conveniently located in the Seafood City Village in Mack Rd. They carry lots of varieties of bread and empanadas also. It smells amazing in the store! Service is quick, friendly and ambiance is clean.

Soft, slightly sweet, divine senorita bread was worth the 40 minute drive for me. My son tasted these for the first time and his eyes lit up. He said they're dangerously good and ate 10 the first day. I bought the 40 piece and we had them for a few days. By day 3, they were stale, but still loved dunking them in my coffee. (Microwave them for about 20 seconds).

Quick service and really delicious bread! It tastes like honey and butter with a but of sugar. Really good price too for a box of them. Theres not much standing room when waiting but the service was quick and the bread is fresh. I'd come back to try the other pastries they have.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet!! When I'm in the area, I HAVE to stop in for some of their famous Señorita Bread! I mean, who doesn't love the pillowy, soft, buttery goodness that's fresh from the oven? I always forget they have locations down south, but I never seem to forget when I'm in SacTown!! Lol Maybe it's because it was at this Starbread Bakery location that I popped my Señorita Bread cherry!! They have other Filipino desserts and baked goods, but I've never purchased anything else. I'm probably the weirdest Filipina you'll ever meet, lol. I'll always be a fan of the bread, though!! The prices have gone up since my first visit, but you really can't help that. The quality is top tier, and as long as the cost isn't outrageous, I'll happily satisfy my cravings! The parking lot is shared with other businesses so there's plenty. The service is always fast and the aunties are always nice. Be back again soon! ;)

Sheeeshhh I've been here hella times but this is my first time making a review. This bread is dangerous! Why is it dangerous? Cuz it's so hard to stop eating. U gonna mess around and gain like 10 lbs. service is great, very polite and fast service. The place is well lit, small and you'll be surrounded by all kinds of goodness. The bread is always given to you hot! It's buttery with a kiss of sweetness. Addicting af! They should call this bread "crack bread" cuz it's hella addicting!

Did they change the recipe of the Senorita bread at the Mack Road location? I heard they changed it at the Natomas location and renamed it Spanish bread and it doesn't taste the same.

Yes they did! I bought some a few days ago and it's not as buttery or as sweet as I remembered.

There is no seating inside but there are a few benches outside. I think the favorite thing I got here was their "not pizza" which was their sourdough bread topped with delicious tomato sauce, cheese, etc. Amazing and so soft and fluffy. I also really enjoyed their banana bread (insanely moist) and egg and ham cup. Prices are reasonable (croissants are less than $5) and service is fast despite the line out the door. Very high quality stuff and worth the drive if you are coming from out of the area. You won't be disappointed. I wouldn't be surprised if this place continues to get more popular. Sac needs more places like this.

Live Bluegrass music at 8 AM. This is what life should be like! I only found this spot because I was nearby and looking for a bite to eat. I heard that there was usually a line out the door and I must've had good timing because there was only about five people in front of me and I was able to walk right in and just have a short wait in line. I grabbed the chocolate banana bread, a garlic bun, a potato and crème fraîche, savory pastry, and an egg and ham pastry. Definitely been on a big banana bread kick lately and this one did not disappoint. Tons of chocolate chips! The garlic bun was by far my absolute favorite. It was crispy and at the same time so buttery like a croissant, and the garlic flavor was amazing. Not overpowering not that spicy garlic taste when a recipe overdoes it, just perfect garlic, butter, crisp and light. Absolute heaven. I was a little sad that I was there alone and no one to share it with so I'm sharing with all of you today... you absolutely have to try this spot Lots of little items for purchase on the shelf to some handmade pottery, hand, carved salad, tongs, and even print of the bakery. This is definitely my favorite find in a very long time

I set my pickup on a Sunday at 12 pm. There is a number to notify the bakery you're there for your pickup. Unfortunately, they were so slammed no one picked up and it went to vm. I couldn't go inside since I had my 1 year old asleep in the car. I parked near the front and knocked on the window. An employee saw me and gave me excellent and expeditious customer service! Respectful, kind, and appreciative for my business. I wish I got his name! He walked the cake all the way to my car and made sure I took a peak to see if my cake was correct. We ordered the Strawberry White Chocolate Mousse cake for my son's 18th birthday. Not super sweet even though white chocolate can be that way. The mousse was light and not too decadent. This cake is one to please many! We're still eating the leftovers 7 days later. As long as it's in an airtight container it'll taste just as amazing as the first day.

Ummm... I have mixed feelings about this place…read more Let's start with the positives because there are plenty. The cakes, pastries, and beverages were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. In fact, the cakes impressed me so much that I can honestly see myself ordering future birthday and celebration cakes from here. The ordering process was smooth, and the décor is gorgeous, making it a really inviting place to spend some time. I enjoyed the bakery so much that I came back a week later to try lunch. Unfortunately, that's where things took a turn. I ordered the burger, and someone in my party had the salmon burger. Both were incredibly bland. It honestly tasted like no salt or seasoning had been added at all. If you prefer very lightly seasoned food, this might be right up your alley, but it just wasn't for me. The iced tea also comes unsweetened, so keep that in mind if you're expecting sweet tea. One small thing that could also be improved is the ordering setup. There are separate lines for the bakery and the kitchen, but when it gets busy it can be a little confusing--especially since you order first and then find a seat. Overall, I'd absolutely return for the pastries, cakes, and drinks. The bakery side is outstanding. As for lunch, though, it left me wanting a lot more flavor.

I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

On my last visit we picked up a couple brownies, a cookie, and one of their savory corn muffins with bacon and jalapeno. All the items are prices well, and are very fresh. I loved the brownies, especially the one with nuts. They're the perfect fudgy texture and while they're a good size, it's hard to stop eating them once you start. My boyfriend and I finally had the time to come on a Monday (after the gym lol). We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. The iced vanilla lattes were really good. The pastries were the highlight. The almond pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky, and the filling was absolutely delicious. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious. The bakery itself was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, and I noticed they even offer WiFi, making it a nice place to work, catch up with someone, or just enjoy a coffee. It was fairly busy and a little noisy, but there were still plenty of open seats. Parking was also easy thanks to the large parking lot. The only downside was the service. I called the store afterward to ask what their standard procedure for toasting items is. The employee I spoke with told me that it "just depends on the worker and how they toast it."
