First time going here... Went simple and ordered egg drop soup and vegi fried rice. Rice was clearly not fried (but was good) and the egg drop soup was more like a jelly or a jello. It was so rich that it was actually an orange color and other than the egg being in there, that was it, nothing else. Not very good Chinese food!!! Can not recommend. read more

For only $5 with tax! (Not sure how they do that legally) you can't really expect much of a selection, which is why there isn't much of a buffet selection. The owners and staff are very reserved, don't expect any conversation unless it's them telling you that they seen you take an egg roll and stick it in your pocket! Lol (I witnessed it) They owners stare you down pretty good while you make your way to the buffet to make sure you don't pocket anything, they give dirty looks to those who don't eat all of their food on their plate and mumble under their breath as the stare at you while they clean it up lol If do you want all of the staff to come out and stare at you at one single time simply move one table next to another and they will all come out and look at you like you're crazy and you will soon feel like you're ready to be in a kung fu fight. As for cleanliness i'd read that in about a half a star I'd rather wash my hands in the fish tank there then in the bathroom there if used to go in the atmosphere is about 120° I believe this is set so that nobody sticks around too long and it's more than what they're supposed to, between the stairs and the temperature and she's not trying to see anything crawling the walls you eat as fast as you can and realize it's only five dollars so you get in and get out. read more

Had some takeout from here today. I generally judge Chinese restaurants by the way they prepare the most traditional of all Chinese dishes, Beef and Broccoli. It was pretty good. Served hot, good portion of both beef and broccoli, liberally seasoned with traditional Chinese salt and traditional Chinese pepper, as well as traditional Chinese beef and broccoli sauce. Not the most amazing beef and broccoli I've had in my entire life, but good nonetheless, and especially considering they've pretty much got the market cornered in Menominee. Just goes to show capitalism works. I recommend them. read more

I think this restaurant is great! We ordered at the last minute before they closed as we had to stop at the hotel nearby for the night as we traveled from Michigan, and it was so very nice of them to accommodate us! I guess as an Asian too we understand the meaning of "while we're open it's still business," thus they took our orders. And in less than 15 minutes, our order was ready! My husband went down to pay for it and was surprised that they gave us some free soups and crab rangoons which we really appreciated instead of throwing them out which is a waste. My family enjoyed the food! It was not salty like the other Chinese restaurants would cook their food! We highly recommend this place! read more

Small but food is worth the $5 not a big selection but they have the basics the crab Rangoon is worth the 5 bucks alone we just heard from a friend about this place and am very glad we stopped in am defiantly getting a take out menu I cleaned my plate haha read more

When we saw this restaurant's outrageous claim that they indeed have the Number 1 Chinese food, we were quite skeptical, but had to give it a go and be the judge ourselves. Not only is this all-you-can-eat buffet affordable, but it is also truly Number 1 on our list of Chinese buffets. We have had lots of other Chinese buffets, and even had our first date at one, but they aren't Number 1. Not even close. This small Chinese buffet always has fresh, stir fried dishes, soup, rice, and a limited selection of "American" food. What it lacks in variety, it makes up for in quality and price ($5 for lunch). The service is attentive. My 99 year old mother likes to come here, too, and the staff take care to bring her the food she prefers (she is partial to the crab Rangoon, which are light and tender).
